Act one had just begun
the day we first met
I didn't know the die was cast
and the stage was set
act two what was I to do
you stole my heart and soul
couldn't guess the part was mine
I would play the leading role
act three I'm on cloud nine
I was there walking on air
it was beyond my wildest dreams
an answer to a prayer
act four who could ask for more
on my marks didn't miss a cue
before the fall of the final curtain call
it was a fairy tale come true
but now there's rain on the window
or tears in my eyes
don't know if it's due
to all those cloudy skies
between the two I can't tell
since you said goodbye
can't unring that bell
but who's holding the handbasket handle
now my whole world has gone to hell
the genie is out of the bottle life is so humdrum
and I don't really care for the man I have become
This Cosmos knows all must escape the war.
The sky beckons peace for the Bard's journey,
Hoping there will be joy forevermore.
Music, dance, poetry--art is beauty!
Raise a cheer for nature's forest bounty.
Let's gather memories that are gleeful!
The green woodlands breathe with vitality
And gift to us a rocky pocketful!
Awen drifts through every breath of nature,
Kindling the mind with vivid ideas,
Flying forward to chase the bright future.
Bards guard pure hearts as meek overseers.
Every balm that will make us feel better
Spills from the Cosmos' wildest pleasure!
Speak me your songs
and I'll reply with your bone's deepest chills,
your blood's chilling boiling point,
and your hearts shrilling aches
In your wildest dreams
Have you ever seen,
An Angel of sorts,
To fragrant your thoughts?
Never wanting to wake,
Has the dream come too late?
No such thing exists
For this stranger of bliss.
Eager to return to my slumber,
Letting all my thoughts wander.
Living a life less than real,
Through my dreams I’m revealed.
Gods sing praises to her healing ~

It looked unassuming and quiet, but when I walked inside
I saw gunslingers and aliens, and a bear dancing as he imbibed.
The gunslingers were shooting, so I dove behind the bar.
The bartender was hiding there, he told me hush my car.
Yes, my Lincoln came with me, and was now zooming up and down.
The dancing bear peeked over the bar and gave me a little frown.
I was snatched up in his giant paw, and he sniffed me up and down.
I was sorry I had ever heard of Zootlefritz, this bar in weird town.
Expected to be eaten, but instead she said “Let’s dance!”
Thought she was a female for she was wearing girlie pants.
We dance up and down the room, but the car ran into her leg.
The aliens snatched it up and took it way past Winnipeg.
Zootlefritz is the place I recommend if you ever feel too uptight.
The gunslingers will humble you by giving you a cowboy fright.
I actually truthfully cannot guarantee the aliens will be there.
But since she is the owner, you will meet my dancing bear.
Laughing lavender lights
Glisten on naked skin
Breathing tenderness
A touch so gentle and sweet
In silence – in solitude
Where grace penetrates
Robbing anxiety it’s dread
Soothing with music’s prayer
Twinkling in amber eyes
Shades of soft, soothing sounds
Erasing all the fears felt
From crying so quietly
Grace embraces the whisper
Of imagination, insight, inspiration
The beauty within a spirit
Who soars across the fields
Colors of hope and passion
Greet love that falls brightly
On the stars and moon
Hues of heaven’s kindness
I need to know where
Love shines down, without a sound
Lifting my soul to new heights
Rejoicing in the promise
Of a God who knows my heart
Understands my thoughts
And awakens my sense of hope
To become the person He blesses
With His endless affection
His direction and correction
His gift of acceptance
That reassures me – I am loved
Beyond my wildest dreams!
On a quaint country lane, my ”Downward Plod” poem whistled eerily.

In my wildest dreams.
You stood there clothed with garments of elegance
As nature did dance
To the rhythm of your elegant steps
In my wildest dreams
My dark heart felt the energy
Emanating from the radiation of your dental pleasantries
Setting free the eulogies
In my wildest dreams
My heart sang in desire
As trees became the choir
The air made the audience
In my wildest dreams
I realized love was fearless
Challenging the darkest of hearts
Riding on the chariots of your beauty
In my wildest dreams
I took your hands
Embarked on the love ride
With chariots of enthusiasm
Our souls found refuge
In my wildest dreams
The lights started to dim
As fantasy bid farewell
The river flowed down my eyes
As your hands left mine
Reality captured me
And left me with no companion but memories
~
I sang to the moon in your favourite style
with lemonade lyrics and daffodil song
Gathered the stars that I found in your smile,
leaving the universe dark before long
Moved every mountain in spite of their size,
short in the middle and tall on the ends
So that the sunset reflects in your eyes
and to your heart every echo now sends
Painted the oceans in rose petal mist,
colors as soft as the touch of your hand
Walked on a shoreline the waves gently kissed,
followed the footprints we left in the sand
Wrote you a poem of whimsical scenes,
written in verses now speaking of love
So that you know in my wildest dreams,
it’s always you that I am thinking of
~
Within the furthest reach
Lie those desires
Who's name one dares
not to speak
So seductive
So intriguing
So intoxicating
So indulgent
Those private passions
Burning at the molten core
of my soul
Luring me to the very heights
Of ecstasy and intrigue
The expression of my desires
Undiluted
Uninhibited
Unmoved
Even in their wildest tantrums
Neither persuade me
nor cautions me
To cease....
Does it matter how people see?
Given moments to only be
Simply, if not just you and me
We can perhaps be truly free
You are in my arms
Yet... I'm missing you
There can simply be no one
Who can kiss me like you do
Do you miss me when you're holding me close?
Are we simply strangers going astray?
Yet here we are, wildest of moments only we know
Moments with you I will gladly stray
With you, I'm finally someone I know to mean
A place I found to stand in the world... in your world
Against all hope, let this not be simply a dream
My someone will I always yearn to hold
It does not matter how people see
Our moments can only be
This world, there are now you and me
Our wildest moments to truly be free
I open the door and cross the threshold of imagination
To a place beyond my wildest dreams
Where fiction and fantasy, worlds a part
Come together as one.

Dream big don't ever compromise
Imagination take me to the skies
~*~
Through the clouds to by pass the stars
Way past Jupiter, way past Mars
~*~
Distant from the pages edges~
Far from the easels of art~
I find my imagination~
You are to me love's wildest dream...
I an enslaved by sugared kisses and
your laughter that reaches deep
Into my heart.
Though I must always silent be and
Say to nought but thee,
To me, you are
Love's wildest dream!
Cynthia
Lost in forever stil I take my turn
Yesterday is gone but my love does burn
I live for tomorrow its just a heart beat away
What does the future hold for me today
Live for the journeythe adventure of it all
Grow old with memories and often recall
Watch as the sands of time fall by
Wish for a moment at the stars in the sky
Envelop in peace and be part of the seem
Never awake from your wildest dream
