Wildest Dreams

In my wildest dreams.
You stood there clothed with garments of elegance
As nature did dance
To the rhythm of your elegant steps

In my wildest dreams
My dark heart felt the energy
Emanating from the radiation of your dental pleasantries
Setting free the eulogies

In my wildest dreams
My heart sang in desire
As trees became the choir
The air made the audience

In my wildest dreams
I realized love was fearless
Challenging the darkest of hearts
Riding on the chariots of your beauty

In my wildest dreams
I took your hands
Embarked on the love ride
With chariots of enthusiasm
Our souls found refuge

In my wildest dreams
The lights started to dim
As fantasy bid farewell
The river flowed down my eyes
As your hands left mine
Reality captured me
And left me with no companion but memories

This is a beautiful slow dance, with so much sadness and so many memories. Welcome to PoetrySoup
