The Fog Lifts

“Who has ever given to God,
that He should repay them?”
For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things.
To God be the glory forever! Amen."
Romans 11:35-36

Friends, so called, kept me a hermit-of-sorts;
Over-whelming doubts left me alone in the dark.
God helped me break through the peer-pressure fog.

Life burdens a teen with acceptance, approval.
Influenced by “friends” that can’t be trusted,
Fear of being left out is very real and draining.
Time with God taught me grit, grace and gumption.
Salvation is selfless service and sharing.

Glimps of My Broken Heart

“It’s not just a poem
But a glimpse of my broken heart
Waiting for someone to heal my wounds,

These are not just some lines written by a pen
But the thoughts that caused this over whelming pain,

Words that left deep scares
That can’t be fixed like a broken glass,

Wished someone hear the silent screams of my soul
But in this never-ending universe I’m still alone,

Fighting the huge rough sorrow waves
Don’t know how long my paper boat will sail,

Lost the hope of someone holding my hand
Now it’s just me in my dream fairyland,

It’s not just a poem
But a glimpse of my broken heart
That has now stopped waiting for someone
And given my fallen world a fresh start….”

EVE

Eve is a warning example
for women of today.?To never disobey God,
to do things … our own way.

Over whelming desire to take
what belonged not to her
Danger dwell on wrong desires,
got her well … you know where.

Like Eve we all have our free will,
our choice ours to make.
Pray we women today smarter,
never make … Eve’s mistake.

“ Poetry is a life cherishing force. For poems are not words after all, but firesfor the cold, rope let down to the lost, something as necessary as bread in the pockets of hungry “
                             - Mary Oliver.

  PEARLY POETRY

There was poetry since language evolved.
Poetry blooms as flower on tree of literature.

Poetry to escape from burden of mundane monotony.
Poetry to lighten pain : Poetry to brighten joy
Poetry to enlighten soul : Poetry to console.

Pristine Passion of a poet oozes from chasms of heart
cascading in opulence forming verse whelming readers.
Poetry quenches thirst of ardent ardour in human behaviour.
Poetry was, Poetry is, Poetry will proceed onward for ever.

My emotive urge surges : My muse to amuse
My dormant dreams drink desires : My yearnings seek afflatus
Poetry is my creation cum recreation, simultaneous.

Whelming Autumn

Me whelmed! Watched butterflies to fly
    fluttering wings! Frolic and free.
     Blossoms swinging petals in glee.
     Sunny day! Cerulean sky.
     Outdoor romance: Lovers may try.
     Me whelmed.

   Auburn Autumn shining in spree.
  Chirping sterlings-sparrows : Swift, spry.
With glass blades dawn-dews making tie.
    Cheerful children making merry.
   Me whelmed.

Premium MemberLet Not the Waters Overtake

I’m stranded here, a lonely isle.
The waters rush, a whelming trial.
I’m fearful, Lord, my heart does ache;
Let not the waters overtake.

You lead me to the waters still,
Yet I disturb them with my will.
When I lie down and when I wake,
Let not the waters overtake.

Like Peter, Lord, I’ll leave the boat,
But without You, I scarce can float.
Extend a hand for thine own sake;
Let not the waters overtake.

My Lord, a rock on which I stand.
Jordan recedes; on promised land.
Your firm foundation will not shake;
The waters shall not overtake.

Oh! My Love

Oh! My Love, I swim and sink
           in deep dense glance
          of your unblinking dreamy eyes
              piercing my heart!

           Oh! My love, I rejoice
           on your mellifluous voice
         as you speak, I listen.
         Your charming eyes to glisten
            swaying my heart.

Oh! My love, I soar up high
        on your grace and majesty
        reflecting my ardent ardour
         of my wobbled amour
              glorifying my heart.

Oh! My love, you are my pride!
I can't hide my pearly passion
but to honor your emerald emotion
          whelming my heart.

Ultramarine Dream

Infra indigo sky meets ultra marine horizon.
Infinity pool beside wonderful wide vast ocean.
Your swimming costume in sapphire satin to glow glisten.
Your alluring glances whelming on ecstatic illusion.

On your sky-blue cap reflection of sunrays slips flashes.
Infra indigo sky meets ultra marine horizon
Me sinking in blinking of your deep charcoal eye lashes.
Your lustrous arogant beauty blazing on moist lustrine..

Enjoying soothing aqua touch:Spring is the season
.Seems floating on ocean.frantic excitement to feel
. Infra indigo sky meets ultra marine horizon
Eager hearts twisting whirling twirling in tremendous thrill.

Drinking dormant desires drowning in ultramarine dream.
Boundless joy soaring high without specific reason
As if swimming on ocean vision extending to brim.
Infra indigo sky meets ultra marine horizon.

ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS

A nna tasted French kiss of her sweetheart
Boiling emotions, the guy to eXert.
Bubbling blood in flood flow surging fast.

Dormant dreamy thirsty desires she drank
Into abyss of sea of love, both sank.
French kiss to get topmost rank, to be frank.

Ecstatic whelming touch of tongue to tongue
Volcanic passion was fierce fully flung.
Ardent ardor of amour to be sung.

A Helping Hand

It comes to a time in life
That everyone needs a helping hand
Whether it’s a battle with depression
Or life’s ups and downs
Either way your spirit gets
Or your world gets hit with
Heavy forces of negativity
On the other side is mental illness
Whether it is mild or extreme
It’s a real serious problem
Sometimes even if you try to help
A person sometimes your solution
Seems to help at times but most
Times it fails, it’s not an easy task
For the person or for the one that’s
Trying to help, and it becomes
Over-whelming in the long run

Premium MemberHis Eyes

Beside the railway
barefooted I walk
into silhouetted trails:
And as twilight descends
upon cascading tears of nothingness~
old pavement darkens
until all I see
is a quandary
of black labyrinths
Leading me into indigo horizon.

Darkness besets me
like shadowed daydreams
that keep coming back
haunting me softly
whilst morose hymn soars
to night's phantasm.

In slumber I fall~
whelming in darkness;
As he comes closer to me
with eyes effulgent
melting in my dreams
my torch returning
and I no longer
wander in the dark.

Grandfather Ghost

I just inherited an old creaky and rustic mansion.
It looks as if it’s “from the house of the dead”.
As I step in the house I felt creepy and freaky!
I see my hair rise on my arm feeling immobilized.
All of a sudden it brings a cold chill over my body.
I move through the bedrooms, until I heard an echo shrill.
I start to notice I felt ill; there something feeling as if it’s taken over my body.
A dark deep clouded mist start to over whelming me and take form.
It’s beginning to transform to mirror image of my grandfather.
I need to confirm on what happening! Or can it be real.
My heart bloods pounding, so fast I can hardly breathe.
Why! Is this happening to me spouting to myself?
Ghost is prowling because it has unfinished business?
I realized it's me? He never got to say goodbye to me.
Thinking how can I apologize! I know your here to tell me goodbye.
All of sudden he starts to materialize, and see an arm wave back goodbye.
In a surprise I felt a relief come over me and seeing him with my own eyes.
I knew that he is in a much better place to lie in peace for eternity.
