My heart was racing,
Chaos around me on the road,
But silence inside me is so calming,
Dying to meet her,
I saw her parking the bike,
And hurrying inside the building,
No she's not worried,
But damn excited for her adventure shopping,
I saw her on the aisle,
She is more beautiful and elegant than ever,
I fell in love with her once again,
And she is so happy, not to see me, but for shopping,
She came outside of the trial room,
With her brown top and cream pant,
Asked me how do I look,
She is so damn hot I still have her image in my mind,
That sweet little time I spent with her,
Now I don't know when I'll see her again,
I'm dying to see her,
To be with her,
Forever and ever.
Seven City Storm
wind blows hot breath on concrete
a downpour on the westside
traffic lights dance on their heads
rivers flow into sewers
storm soon passes on eastward
bus stop umbrella crowds cease
steam lifts slowly from the street

i sit alone
westside café
catching my breath
waiting and exhaling
listening to the silence
whirl inside my head
in waves of warm cacophony
in wondrous delightful ways
a swarm of outside sounds
assailing the shell of me
peacefully savouring
how divinely sublime
calm washes over me
luscious as
a warm caress

I thought it was you.
I was startled by the tangerine glow that beamed so brilliantly
through the bedroom window
on the eastside of my house.
That's probably not a good place
for a window.
Especially if I want to sleep in;
but you are a restless comedian,
who thinks little of my rest.
You only want to make me laugh.
Continuously. And hysterically.
Like the late night comics
who fear that the memory of them
will fade at dawn.
They must linger...
Now, here you are.
I remember all of the funnies
that you told me.
So now, go ---
to the Westside,
where they are waiting for you
to amuse them.
And I will rise
and prepare to pass
on your silly stories, to whomever
will listen.
I fell in love with a Westside girl
You know the one that got me in a whirl
We met on the beach that summer time
She was in her red bikini looking so fine
That's when I fell in love with my Westside girl
When you see us you will know how hard I fell
At night when I take her out to the seaside carnival
You will know for sure know my story is such a twirl
In this world there was no other place so fine
Than the Westside with this girl of mine
So when you see me with her struttin' along
It will be with her forever that I do belong.

Though midnight long, I sail the winding glide
As this my instinct wakes for cherished time
For every moment gone I cannot rest
A promise sent, of love by the Westside.
Lost somewhere--- hands grip in prayer, divine
Beloved, find me upon fate’s request!

You were a million miles away
Needed you here and you came
I will never forget that
No, never forget that.
You spoke of laughing your life away
Didn’t care if ‘she’ could cook or bake
To my best friend
In our Westside apartment
In the dining room
And I couldn’t swallow my food
In front of you
Because right then
I knew
I loved you…
Darling your blue eyes
Drive me wild
We sat on the couch
And for the first time
I subtly reached for you
Just couldn’t not touch you.
Thought you should know
I trust you
Feel safe with you
Whatever you want to know you can
Whatever you want to take, have
Darling your blue eyes
Drive me wild
Someday
You won’t be a million miles away
And you held me in the kitchen
for a split second...
And I picked up your coat
Held it for you
And I just couldn’t not hold
your hand
I knew you were different
Right then
I knew I loved you
Thank God I figured it out
Before you left
To go a million miles away
The night
In your parents house
Upstairs
You told me
I said are you sure?
You never faltered
Yes.
I wasn’t quite there yet
Wasn’t ready to tell yet
But then I did
because
You are
You are
You are
So safe.
Even at a million miles away
Pug noses in designer hoodies
Wicker baskets on beach cruisers
Leather sofas doggy devoted
Grooming parlors and pet hotels
Best pooch in wedding tux
Nip and tuck, no more nuts
Hollywood glitz for puppy shitz
LA doggy style
Westside!
"Splendor in the Grass" can hardly breathe
A beauty in the fearful, destined waters
Not even Santa Catalina can lift up Natalie -
An angel fallen in the hands of Evil -
Macabre mask of rotten jealousy
The arm of selfishness pushes her with force
Her screams for help fall on empty ears
As men do nothing but drink themselves to satisfaction...
If you ever sail at night to Catalina Island
And think you see the city lights come close
You'll hear Maria's echo in the "Westside Story"
And watch the glow of glitter of a fallen star...

I can only hear what you tell me...
That is all I can believe...
I'm sorry I have portrayed these thoughts in your head...
I didn't mean to...
But understand me...
I went out on tree limb...
And fell....
I was falling...
And I hit the ground on the Westside.,,
The way I felt...
The rocks cut me deep...
I swore to myself I would never try to climb another tree...
But you made me feel different...
And when the wind blew I fell...
As I fell I heard your voice...
Not Red's voice....
Yours...
Come to think about it I still hear it...
But we good.
I said I was hear for you and I meant it...
Don't give up on me yet....
Cause I Hear You....
Come on come on everybody bounce bounce bounce with me
I am a hot stepper can't nobody hold me down so set me free
Everbody Jam Jam upon sugar hill
let your step be on a maximun overdrive skill
Quit Quit crying in the rain
Po folks downing purpil pills with cheap champagne
Seen my girl on T.V
looking starry eyed and a little dizzy dizzy
Come on Come on let's keep it up
let the whole world keep filling our cup
Rumble rumble in the jungle
let this magic wand not let you stumble
This ghetto love got to get it
Westside Eastside let's see it fit
For your going to fly now
like a sweet escape electric salsa fowl
No more football on T.V.
hit the streets a dance you shall see
Got to get one more time
try and keep up with this rhythm and rhyme
Hate it or love it I'm going to be alright
just stay with me just one more night
If ya getting down
I'll be there to wipe that frown
Don't cry tonight
Mr. Wendle luv you better with your runaway fiddle
So here we go once again
dancing and grooving
to a life on the streets spin
