Welkin Wonder

The sun sets in soulful silence,
Its blissful beauty paints pearlescent sky,
Lovely light spreads soft its peace,
Like learned Rumi ruminating;
Poets praise sighing Sol,
The welkin wonder soothes senses ~
A cool cause to glorify God.

       Pink fringed lotus,
       stunning leaf floater,
       suffusing pond surface,
       beneath sapphire sky,

        in stoic city pond,
       charming capture,
       casual strollers peep,
       as vim skims,
       reflection of visages,
       luscious liquid stream,
       fluid canvas,

       water in atmosphere.
       or pool intensifies,
       navy blue welkin,
        august morning shift,
        in shade or tint,
         hue’d reservoir,

        sapphire firmament,
         a momentary pause,
         for zestful urbanite,
         bowl-shape flora,
         or vapored vault,

         coalescing influence,
         bridging distance,
         town dynamism,
          lush environment,

Sundown creeps,
  across adorned amber,
     sky whose welkin,
     shades volte face,
     as evening edges,
  into cosmic chakra,
of visual feasts,
orange, pink, purple,
prelude which emblazon,
point of day exodus,
 atrophied moon winking,
   mystic morph of,
     dwindling halo,
       to homeward bound,
         throngs thirsting,
       for redress within,
    winter jasmine enclave,
 cabal, clique, cluster,
   in shrunken retreat,
    from dreary toil,
nudge from nightfall,
   whose cryptic code,
  a dark art patois,
 exemplified by,
 eastern screech owl,
    whose stocky medium,
and varied volume,
  that twilight tremolo,
    purring incognito,
     among other creatures,
    wet soil genus,
           brisk firefly flash,
         in town backyards,
      wing rubbing katydid,
          tree top rasp,
        or amid green bush,
          chirpy cricket,
       midget burrow dweller,
       allow oneself to wallow awhile,
          in evening habitat,
       in all its allure

Premium Member Prayer

Prayer is a light
To hearts it is quiet
Hidden inside joys varied
The most sincere servitude

To chests gives cure
To rest for a soul
A drink as a holy water
A seperation between evil and good

Salat is soul's meal
Faithful's meeting with Allah
Holy Throne's cipher
Sky's gates password is salat

With that servant raises to holy God
Prayers reach to house of Lord
Angels get down from welkin when Quran readed
Universe gets silent and listens with all heart

Now let you pray, you too five times a day
Without compulsion and laziness do it by pride
At the judgement day your scales full of good deed
At the recitation and prostration unite with the Almighty God (Allah)

                                         the divine canvas

Pink clouds with feint zigzag veins
craft a stunning desert maid’s
muse in mirror swivel guise
as she pondered in set pose
how welkin palettes loiter
when a tense eerie inkling
sighs “I’m this windblown notion”

Premium Member Sheer Magic of Happiness

“Happiness is contagious. It can be sparked by one single happy man, making it spread into many, as a small amount of yeast ferments large quantities of dough" – By Poet

Happiness is seeing beauty in simple things.
It is drinking nectar from the wellsprings of our heart
We sense it as we listen to the sweet warbling of birds.
We see it on the beaming faces of children in gregarious company.
We feel it as we watch the clouds painted in pretty patterns and shades
In the burgundy blush of the welkin, as sun gets ready for his rest.
In the beauty of the moon, shimmering on the silvery waters.

Happiness flits round the innocent face of a babe,
As it is nestled close in the cosy warmth of its mother.
It is the sparkle seen reflected in the eyes of a mother,
As she cuddles her baby tight to her throbbing bosom.
It sneaks into young hearts with sweet whisperings of love.
It hides in deep caverns of the mind, jumping out unexpected,
But may withdraw into its secret hideout, when invited.

Happiness is something that we seek, but sadly it eludes our hold.

SUNSET HORIZON

         magical sunset
      a greater enchanted light
      dazzing welkin paints

Twilight Wiles

The welkin spreads its twilight wiles,
Crepuscular crescent moon smiles,
As the setting sun says goodbye,
         Salmon streaks the lazuline sky;

The orange ball of fire does sink,
And today, slowly, it turns pink,
Kaleidoscopic hues, they dye,
         Salmon streaks the lazuline sky;

The moon enjoys this divine show,
And watches the horizon glow,
The Sol looks like a pumpkin pie,
          Salmon streaks the lazuline sky;

God's masterpiece seen everyday,
Empyrean art on display,
As daylight darkens by and by,
            Salmon streaks the lazuline sky.

Woven Wonders

Crimson carnations create chords of casual charm,
Happy hyacinths harmonise in their psychedelic hues,
Bright bubbles of hope in crusading sunset,
Soft sepia smiles sent down from the Shepherd above,
Burnished beams of bright sunrays ballet in between birches,
An emerald euphony of jasper jingles and obsidian operas,
Salmon welkin croons its crescendo as it turns indigo,
The warbling waves wind up in a waltz,
Evening falls softly in various shades of blue,
All's well with the world of woven wonders.

Lines taken from the following poems:
Serenading sunset
Moonstone melodies
Autumn leaves
Fiery sunset
In the shadow of sunlight
Chrysanthemum Hymns
Spring sonata
It started with a blank canvas
The lilt of lilac melodies
Haven of hope

HEAVEN'S ABOVE
As long as I see the sky-

In Marked Territory

Midnight tightly clasps the darkness,
Like a wounded heart,
In between topaz edges of twilight
 And pastels of first light.

Jealous of its cosmos
Shoos away the master of the day
Turning the face of the daystar
  To other skies
To claim small hours.

Guardian of vanishing infinities
Speaks
Indigo borders
 For moonlight
   Moonbows
And wishes on the first brave star
Where waves of the galaxy
Break
Over unseen edges of stellar sands.

Lit only by celestial lanterns
Enchanter
Conjures sovereign spells
Declaring jurisdiction over platinum roses
And
Lover’s sighs
That wax then wane under polar stars.

Night rules this welkin magic,
A sorcerer hiding a book of spells,
This realm under the starry arch
 The moonrise
  The nebulae decorating the firmament,
Where gravity hems in epiphanies.

Chrysanthemum Hymns

As the saccharine shadows of daylight dims
You can hear the melodies of eager eve
Tangerine sunsets composing chrysanthemum hymns
Songs that the sun with the zephyr does weave

The tempo played by the vibrant sky is before us
Marigolds blooming and booming in the heavens bright
Psychedelic hues of the sundown plays a chorus
Dusk bowing to the music of the dark night

Homebound birdies chirruping their way to the nest
Wispy clouds bidding their last goodbye for the day
Stars entering the scene with supreme sonata fest
Maiden moon like a siren mesmerizing with her sway

Salmon welkin croons its crescendo as it turns indigo
A sprinkling of twinkles spattered across its face
Awestruck by the twilight's kaleidoscopic canticle glow!
What a sight to behold! Such harmonious charming grace!

Premium Member Dreams mirror

The door; now shut, welkin turns some lights on; others out
An open window lets in all the sounds that night's shout
Tucked in a quiet place; I find myself the most at home
Sucked into a coma; my feet blistering while they roam
Inside dreams mirror; lives a place where sanities cloned
This is where my tortured, troubles, edges are finely honed
It's in this bliss that my perceptions are never nearer
To bring about what makes coarser intuitions clearer
Wiping away the morning fog, I gently touched sincere
Waking to be loving; is why my heart beats persevere

Cosmic Embrace

('I' refers to God.)

In dolour, he descried the leafless pine
And under its shade of dearth lay supine,
Cerebrating how not e'en grains of sand
Pay heed to him nor his woe understand.

I thus deigned to limn Myself on his sky
To consume its vacuity strewn so high
That I painted a canopy of stars
And shaded him from the plots of scheming Mars.

I then, in all literality, blanketed him
In the fabric of the welkin, and seraphim
Watered his lifeless pine with lullabies
And read him tales and cosmic alibis.

And ere scarcely closed his eyne and sleep's kiss,
I restored the sky; on it drew a marvel of bliss.
Then after the cosmos fondled his heart to peace and reverie,
I turned it all into a dream and dissolved it in his memory.
