Twilight of Misery

Distant volcano vents bedim
the ever-changing azure welkin
Drunk off demons carousing amuck
in my metaphysical crepuscule

HEAVEN'S ABOVE
As long as I see the sky- the welkin resides in my weather eye

The Welkin's Tears

The welkin who had been clear
Suddenly burst into tears
And a crashing was heard
Then a light, as someone searched
For something we can't figure from here

Little Butterfly

Little butterfly,
Please take me along with you,
Let me kiss the wide welkin.

Crawl up, tickling me,
Dip and brush my pale fingers,
In your marmalade palette.

Pink clouds with feint zigzag veins
craft a stunning desert maid’s
muse in mirror swivel guise
as she pondered in set pose
how welkin palettes loiter
when a tense eerie inkling
sighs “I’m this windblown notion”

The Night Is Asleep

The night is asleep with its lamp lit
on the pillow of cottoned clouds
wrapped in sheet of vast welkin
and the breeze running its
fingers through its mane
while crystal stars
like empires
guarding
her.

Blades On the Shore

Lover of the howling derecho
on the vast welkin shore,
Carrying the aromatic mists
of sweetest petrichor;
How it strikes! as the willowy blade
of an ambrosial steel sword,
Into the resting sheath
of the game's flooded board.

Dragon-Fly Wings

The tiny
lamp's bulb is frosted: windows
are caked

with minute
designs, not one of which the scheme
of a fist-

shaped heart,
beating like dragon-fly wings
within its life-

span of a day..
wings the tints of a fairy-
tale welkin.

I am blue : but not new
I am white : sometimes bright
I am red : and then delight
I am yellow : often mellow
I am marine : but not green
I am light : but not at night
I am black : when sun ,I lack
I am grey : who but I
Sees in , both night and day

Cerulean welkin milieu in
The billows lies a citadel
That is the abode of a
Prince and his vast kingdom
Waiting patiently
For his princess
Charming heart
For aye

Moth and mist kiss her lips her loneliness from the dark dew And how she grips nomadic clouds As if that was her only foist. I ache for their sighs and songs her strong want to embrace the welkin But when she reached the tempest It hugs her deeper than my embrace.

Sun

The crimson coloured sky,
Where sun appears to be a drop of saffron paint in water,
Unfurling its rays to embosom the horizon.
The first star visible in the welkin,
Marking the moment of the dawn.
The moon appears vague,
and the earthlings return to their homes
This panorama from my window is ineffable,
And I captured it in my eyes forever.

Welkin Wonder

The sun sets in soulful silence, Its blissful beauty paints pearlescent sky, Lovely light spreads soft its peace, Like learned Rumi ruminating; Poets praise sighing Sol, The welkin wonder soothes senses ~ A cool cause to glorify God.

The Spirit of Otter Lake (Roundel)

At Otter Lake, whilst welkin starry clear,
A ghostly wail bruits eerily despair,
And eyes appear alit like embers near,
At Otter Lake.

Avaunt, the trappers pray, bedim thy glare;
In sooth, thy mourning grieves a bygone year,
From earthly bourn, ascend to angels care.

Arose a zephyr, thick as bloodied air,
And shrieking withered every soul with fear,
To where a man durst lay his footsteps there,
At Otter Lake.

Vow For Work

I'll work 'n live in this vast void
I'll travail, see thee sweat drop to crust
I'll n't broaden my wealth and neither my reputation
But i'll tread the unflick'rd venomous dungeons
Quintessential soulmates i'll drill therein
And our friendship shall spring eternal
My acumenical pschye engraved within
In breeds a heroic contention in soul
I'll stress the bible, fountain to wit right
So as when astrenous blow of horn roks at doom
My stand in the welkin haven rests secure

Starry Rondeau

In stellar skies the nights bestow
our firmament’s majestic show
with portraits of creations past
that stretch into the heavens vast
surpassing Michelangelo.

We yearn this welkin world to know
through avid searching to and fro
and seek a sculpted cosmic cast
in stellar skies.

Withal, the astral art aglow
o’erspread above in grand tableau
to awe wide-eyed enthusiast
shall mortal earthly life outlast,
as goes the great galactic flow
in stellar skies…
