Not Welcomed in Limbo

I knocked on the door of limbo,
where the breathless rest,
neither damned nor divine,
but I was not even shadow enough
to be let in.

They saw my name
unwritten,
unwitnessed
and turned me away like a sin
never spoken aloud.

So I walked the earth
as half a ghost,
haunting the body
I was born into.

Premium MemberWelcomed Home

The woods are on fire was my first thought
But I was the one who wanted this journey
So, I took another step into the unknown
The night had turned red, it was a blood moon

Ominous to some? To me, it felt like home
There was a comfort in seeing the souls of the trees
They had always nurtured me, tonight was no different
I saw lights in the distance, the castle of the soothsayer

She had lit the path along the way with spirited reds
A hazy mist in the distance almost looked like snow
I knew it was remnants of her magic; she had begun without me
I am her heir, her apprentice, a seventh daughter of a seventh daughter.

My steps felt light now, there was anticipatory joy in my heart.
I was almost home, where my true training would begin.
I would become an alchemist like my mother and her mother.
The sorceress threw out a wave of pink in a lovely welcome.

Premium MemberCat Is Welcomed By Pumpkin Patch

It had begun to get way cooler in the evenings, for this was the fall.
The tiny gray kitten was lost, but she found her way to a friendly lot.
Pumpkins welcomed her in an October embrace, some a foot tall.
She settled down beside them all cozy and warm, glad for a spot.

They sheltered her; reminding her of her mother and better days.
She wished she was back with her litter, but this was great too.
For many years she gave these gentle pumpkins all kinds of praise.
They uplifted her spirit that night, taking away all sadness and blue.

A Warm and Welcomed Shelter

To search for the angelic chord that
describes the melodic sound of your voice
expressing the music in your eyes

To seek your unique persona in your Angelica Jolie smile
displaying the fullness of your fleshy lips that
stoke the fires of my psyche

Come quickly, my Love!
let me touch your mound of Venus and
Play in your forest of desire as I did then
when you lay on our crumpled sheets and
kissed me wetly

Today you’re gone but your aroma
hints at your presence still here
desires emanating from all my pores
seek escape and respite

Your music plays on and on and on
in all the cells of my body
relentlessly throbbing
until they beg to burst

Trumpets and bones blow your hearts out!
bring her music back the one she sang that night to
excite my soul up to where her thighs did hide
our springboard to the stars

Let me find once more the bliss ensconced in
your mysterious abode that once
I called mine and found
a warm and welcomed shelter.

Premium MemberMy Trees Welcomed Me

Renegade trees pop up faster than dandelions all over my yard
I live in the country where I credit good old fashioned Kansas clay.
I wake up in the morning and bam, six new stalwart soldiers.
They guard wildlife as well as me, of course.

Fox, wolf, squirrel, bunnies, owls and cardinals live in these trees.
They prance or hop out sometimes, just to show me they are there.
I have elm, mulberry, willow, walnut, oak and acorns for sure.
I do not rake up any walnuts or acorns, preferring to feed squirrels.

I am rarely gone, but one time I was gone for four whole days.
When I drove down my drive, the trees waved in elaborate ways.
Their branches were flying up in the air on both sides, like a hello.
As soon as the car stopped, the waving stopped.

My husband asked me “What is up with those trees?”
“I think they were telling me hello,” I replies.
I hugged them extra hard that day,
And I swear they squeezed me back.

Weather and Whether Truth Is Welcomed

For MY NON CHRISTIAN FAMILY, RSA:

S source of life, water, rain, cooler weather
I I'm recovering from sin, my lineage
N No true healing without repenting; like rain in
     Eastern Cape, Jesus's blood washes again and again. First in cleansing, then empowering

Culture Shock Welcomed

culture shock welcomed
so weird taking it easy
been needing this long

skies are fully blue
time is my New Friend Again
calm now existing

happy disbelief
like writing with my right hand
change medicinal

blood pressure normal
fluid in my legs now gone
peeing away stress

Premium MemberNovember Welcomed-

Yonder comes the morning new;
Dawns of the new November sun;
Autumn crisps and morning runs;
Such a crisp brisk newness shuns;

And as glory witness October passes;
Evening moon sets as the sun glare rises;
November dawns dainty biding crowns;
Yet uprising temperate scenic so frowns;

Misty the autumn crisps breezes;
Awaits December's icy so freezes;
Welcome November;

Premium MemberAll Welcomed

don’t think
this haven
is the result
of a coin tossed
into a wishing well

it’s more the
consequence
of years of seeking
and working at
integrity and serenity

and it’s not
a free for all
if you want in
knock at the gate

Getting Married

We are getting married
Alot of people coming together
Comerain or shine
No matter what the weather
Greet and meet
A whole lotta kisses
My fiance
Becoming my Missus
Were getting married
Cause we're in love
Try to image what
I am speaking of
Its ah epic
Love affair
You are invited
Everyone'll be there
Celebration
Our togetherness
Come on you're
Invited
Dress to impress
We're getting married
The reception's something specail
Hired an orcheastra
To bring us together
Got the ring and my tux
My shoes shined and polished
They saay she's gonna be
Beautiful
Its bad luck for us
To be together
The days almost here
You're welcomed to come
I am kinda nervous
You might think thats dumb
Wish me some luck
Can't wait for the day to
come
We're getting married
I planned the honeymoon
Can't wait til then
Its coming come
Come on make it specail
Wouldn't be nothing without you
See if your coming
I have alot to do

A Welcomed Haunting

I am haunted
awakened by the smell of your perfume
by the sound of your voice
by the soft warmth of your skin against mine

Haunted am I yet bound
bound to that world apart
that land of dreams
that place in which you find me
that time when you are mine
