Cat Is Welcomed By Pumpkin Patch

It had begun to get way cooler in the evenings, for this was the fall. The tiny gray kitten was lost, but she found her way to a friendly lot. Pumpkins welcomed her in an October embrace, some a foot tall. She settled down beside them all cozy and warm, glad for a spot. They sheltered her; reminding her of her mother and better days. She wished she was back with her litter, but this was great too. For many years she gave these gentle pumpkins all kinds of praise. They uplifted her spirit that night, taking away all sadness and blue.
