Balladaire

You know how it is
It's all on you
So what's going on
What are we going through
Never trust a beggers for
Your salvation
It's foolish and unwise
In all that it's saying
So love the world
As long as you
Ain't in it
Crumbled ego's
Bruised or hurt feelings
They can't understand
What you're going through
It's a place of rediscovery
Something ancient and
Full of un a new
A waiting world needs new
Inventions
With directions
You know the inventers
Intentions
Sorted facts from foolish
Fictions
Give them a futuristic taught
With futuristic intentions
Savor through
Who's using who
That's what a people want
They're looking to you
It's real complicated
It ain't challenged or debated
What corner are you in
What are you saying
I like the part when it's
all relating
Seeking fused
Merger or marriage
It's all caught to let
The People have it

Premium MemberWee Willy Winky is Creepy

Wee Willy Winky creeps about the town
Into children’s bedrooms he’ll be peeking.
Sometimes if he finds an open window,
into that child’s room he will go sneaking.

He fancies himself a Sandman.
But nothing like the Sandman is he.
No peace does he bring the sleepless kid
as he creeps about in hours that are wee.

He sprinkles no sand into sleepy eyes,
but he slides like a ninja beneath a child's bed,
then mutters low sounds that he thinks are soothing,
but he frightens most children instead!

“Go to sleep; go to sleep,” he sometimes whispers.
Children who hear this are filled with fear.
Too terrified are they to leave their bed.
They think that the boogeyman must be near.

Wee Willy Winky, you do nobody good
as you creep all around in your nightgown.
Some of those you visit get PTSD.
You ought to be jailed and banished from town.

Tiddly Widdly Willie Little Winkie Wee
Was ever so lovely and kind to little old me
I met him when I was living next to the sea
I think we were two, but we might have been three

Tiddly Widdly Willie Little Winkie Wee
was a lopsided dragon with a golden eye you see
My best friend forever, I nicknamed him Handsome Tee
He took me flying at night to Tennessee and Kentucky

My sister was scared, she was frightened of Tee
He was as big as an ocean liner in the deep blue sea
But he was gentle and kind, and he truly loved me
I will always love my pal, Tiddly Widdly Willie Little Winkie Wee

Nessie

O yon Loch Ness Monster
is come out of the lake
through all the wide border
his tail left a wake
and save his fire-breathing
he weapons had none
he swam all unharmed
and fair maidens he won
so faithful in love
yet so very messy
there never was wee beastie
like the young dragon Nessie

(With apologies to Sir Walter Scott)

there was a young Irish lad named Jack
who bragged about his size in the sack
he met Sarah one day
for a roll in the hay
she said you’re a wee man and that’s a fact

A QUIET WEE HOUR CANDLELIGHT BREAKFAST POEM

SITTING IN A QUIET LAKEFRONT PARK
LOOKING AT PICTURES OF MY MOTHER IN THE DARK
THE ILLUMINATION OF VIVID MEMORIES CREATE A SPARK
A TRUE HISTORICAL MILESTONE EXCURSION LANDMARK

SHEDDING A RARE TEAR, BUT CALMLY SANE
LOOKING AT PICTURES OF MY DAD AS IT BEGINS TO RAIN
WISHES AND REGRET CAN CAUSE SUCH IMMEASURABLE PAIN
I GET SHEDDING SNAKESKIN HANDS TRYING TO WIPE AWAY EVERY STAIN

DRIVING BACK TO A REALITY LONG SINCE RUSTED
THINKING ABOUT HAPPIER TIMES WHEN I WAS LESS DISGUSTED
MY LIFE IS BLUE BALLOON WITH AN INGROWN BOIL DOUBLE BUSTED
SO LITTLE REPLY AND REACTION HAS ALL THE FUSS DID

In the wee small hours

All through the dark night
When the world is so quiet
I will touch you and hold you
In the wee small hours

I remember each touch
When I am with you
But the times I remember are
In the wee small hours

I will always remember you
You are my one true love
As we lie together as one
In the wee small hours.

Our Wee Kye

Fearless plus unfiltered,
Brazent also bold,
Wouldn't ever listen,
Couldn't be told.

Caring and loyal,
Full of cheek,
Made you laugh,
Every single week.

Love and hate,
In one day,
Wouldn't have him,
Any other way.

Hearts left broken,
Tears forever run,
You'll always be,
Our number one.

Shining his light,
Throughout the sky,
The brightest star,
Our wee Kye.

Wee Wee Us

"Wee Wee Us"

Hats off
And shoes too
To her attributes

Foto frozen features
Feet in digital
Motion

Let me count
The ways
That

This little
Piggy went
To market but

I just want
Her to come

All the way home

Willy Wee Walldorf warbled wonderfully
We watched Willy’s whacky warbling, willingly
Waketa Wobblemaster wiggled wondrously
While weird Wormy Wishman watched wistfully.

Premium MemberWee Willy

I knew a wee man with a claim to fame
Who was on stage, Wee Willy was his name
He could do the splits
As well as high kicks
But wearing a kilt put his name to shame.

One doesn't need to explain reasons why
All is revealed when he kicks his legs high
What’s out on display
It swings either way,
Some ladies may cry, yet others sigh.

Once I remember he fell on his back,
The audience heard his scream and the crack,
But we were in luck
Wee Willy stood up
With his cracked back strapped to an ice pack.

As ice does, it melted there on the stage
Which had Wee Willy dancing in rage
But not only that
His ardour went flat
And his performance went down a grade.

Premium MemberWee Winnie Whistle

[Picture prompt#2:]

Wee Winnie Whistle, arms full of thistle,
To welcome the town's Garden Officials.
Come here to honor Wee Winnie,
For helping so many,
Bring gardens to life from artificial!

Before Winnie Wee came initially,
All gardens were artificial, you see?
So with her green thumb,
She changed every one,
To living gardens that bring so much glee!

My itty bitty brother Billy

Was sometimes funny sometimes silly

Tried to stand on his head

But got racked up instead

So now he has to ice his willy
