the siren wee

alluring, captivating, enchanting she
lounged on the island at edge of the sea
stay away from her, cautioned sailors to Lee
but he steered his sailboat up to her knee

Her lamenting song was a lovely melody
her scales shimmering, all could certainly agree
Lee was entranced, hypnotized by this pretty she
which delighted the siren, known only as Wee
