Premium Member A Delicate Waterfall Materialized

       Closing her eyes, a delicate waterfall materialized
          magically meeting her every desire
             bathing in its mists
                arching her back to sip its nectar
                   shampooing her silken hair with its energy
                       letting its spray free her from the heat of the day

Where All Teardrops Go

Each teardrop falls, a quiet, glistening bead,
from moments full of joy to those that bleed;
no matter why it slips or where it lands,
it drifts into currents shaped by countless hands.

It joins a waterfall no eye can see,
a gentle tide of shared humanity;
each drop of laughter, heartbreak, or fear,
becomes a note within its tides of clear.

It flows in peace, a river soft and wide,
a place where every feeling learns to glide;
and when a tear rolls warm across your face,
you touch that hidden, ever growing place.

One day we’ll stand beside its breathtaking shore,
with everyone who cried and loved before;
a beach of light, where all our waters blend,
the brightest party where the tears all mend.

Premium Member DESCENDING

old winds wander slow
through hollowed mountain paths,
carrying the murmured lore
of waters born before memory;
stone-faces lean inward, listening,
their ridges etched by centuries
of patient, moon-pale flow—

down the elder cliffs,
where every drop recalls
a vow whispered in the first dawn;
the pool below waits open,
its surface stirring like prophecy,
gathering each falling thread
into a circle older than names,
as if the earth itself remembers
how light once learned to move

In the forest heart
Placid echo sounds
Of the roaring brisk
Dazzling waterfall
Cascading downward
Into a plunge pool.

Premium Member THE WATERFALL SPEAKS

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You think I’m just water falling~
a careless spill over granite teeth,
but listen: each drop fractures
into a thousand silver syllables.
My mist rises, whispering
the oldest verbs—erode, persist, become.
The rocks below me remember their names,
though they've worn smoothly as vowels.
Even the air around me hums with wet translation,
an endless sentence without a period.
Waiting for a Waterfall
from the silent womb
tiny wavelets wandered off
to a silver flow,
casting shallow golden sparks,
deeper dark diamond shine.
to welcome valleys
hiding dancing butterflies,
seeking nectar sips,
fluttering beneath soft suns
and shadowed, blind brooding moons.
but the muse still longs
for a broad, white waterfall
spilling on the page,
roaring waves of wonder-words,
rolling into deeper minds.
Premium Member My Dream Destination
A far off land I would love to see,
where the land is unique and free.
Green valleys to waterfalls to a pretty blue sea,
soft warm sand beneath my feet fills me with glee.
I could learn about a new culture and to waterski,
while dancing traditional dance under the huge tree.
My dream destination must wait for me,
but I can dream away, will you agree?
Yes, dream all about my heavenly trip is my plea,
I can smell the colorful flowers, food and tea.
My far off place is called Tahiti to see a bee.
Flume Sonnet
It thunders through like a rampaging doom,
water cracked the stone, and carved out this chute,
the locals around here call it the Flume,
white water churning through a confined route.
Roiling, throwing mist onto the rocks,
always wet and sporting a sheen of green,
so loud is the torrent it’s hard to talk
over the noise as the water careens.
Empties out into four small waterfalls,
which widen into a wading-deep pool,
folks splash around, and the kids short and tall
dunk heads in the cascades, thinking it’s cool.
But never dare try riding the cataract,
even dumb kids know they will not come back.
Dreaming of the Waterfall
The sun bursts through a weeping cloud, feel soft warm rain.
Through buttercups and daffodils, he calls my name.
As ripples dance across the stream, I hear his call.
He takes my hand and leads me to the waterfall.
We climb high above the rainbow, breathe freshly scented air.
Hear gentle whispers in the breeze, beyond compare.
Climbing high we see for miles, we're both enthralled.
At the thunder and the power of the waterfall.
Hand in hand we walk away, and both look back.
I know one day we will return, re-trace our tracks.
Memories of magic times, we shall recall.
And wonder at the beauty of the waterfall.
In the morning haze our arms gently entwined
Magical images dance inside my mind
Reminiscing on our perfect escape,
I slowly open my eyes and try to stay awake.
Still slumbering in this tranquil calm,
I realise it’s time to switch off my alarm.
I’m dreamily laying close to you,
And I know someday our dreams will come true.
Premium Member Country Setting
A stream, searching its limits, laps the bank.
Water falls gently over a small dam.
Fish nip at flotsam in usual prank,
And find protein at weight less than a gram.
All's well and calm in this country setting
A whiff of wind shuffles a nearby tree,
Yet the shallow banks soon will be letting
Gallons of overflow to be set free.
Soft water's whispers now shriek in a scream.
A precipice grips the liquid off-guard.
It spills its mass in a powerful stream
Down to twirling whirlpool's cold disregard.
Premium Member A Waterfall Came into Being
A small rock detached itself from a distant planet,
And through a NEBULA of pure darkness
Burned its way across the blackness of outer space
Rushed its way to far off Earth by passing its LUNAR orbit.
It left behind MYRIAD sparks all glistening, until
It hit a river on Earth and furrowed a subsidiary way
Till it reached a cliff and fell down in a CASCADE
Creating a deep pond and then a SERPENTINE river flowed on.
Through flowing streams of silver light,
Soft winds blew a PHOSPHEROUS glow,
Producing a LILT of melodies that spread life
Amongst the green ferns.   Now two small alligators
SLITHER towards the pond where fish had become plentiful.
Beware.  No swimming by request.
Waterfall, it cleanse,
Healing, life-giving, it quench
Purifies, refresh.
