Waiting for a Waterfall
from the silent womb
tiny wavelets wandered off
to a silver flow,
casting shallow golden sparks,
deeper dark diamond shine.
to welcome valleys
hiding dancing butterflies,
seeking nectar sips,
fluttering beneath soft suns
and shadowed, blind brooding moons.
but the muse still longs
for a broad, white waterfall
spilling on the page,
roaring waves of wonder-words,
rolling into deeper minds.
