The fish in the sea,
the birds that have dominion in the air,
the animals of the forest,
these habitats entrusted to our care.
We should treat all of God's creatures
with honor and respect,
must be good stewards of our mother earth,
never let her feel neglect.
God has granted us dominion
over His beautiful earthly domain,
to walk upon this earth softly
and never to leave a stain.
Loyal companion carved from a sturdy oak.
This eternal gratitude will never be revoked.
You've been there for me more then
some human folk.
I think I may be in love with you and that is no joke.
Please stay by my side until the day I croak,
if perchance we come upon a very nasty bloke,
I will turn you upside down and give him a poke!
I take my time and walk softly now
To defuse life's briny thorns
Which have been laid across my path
Since such time when I was born.
It makes no sense to stamp my feet
To further enhance my flawed ambition.
To be thought a fool at every turn
Where others mock my trite condition.
So I walk softly now upon the grass
Leaving no harm to time and space
With a vain hope those who follow me
Will find no mark upon this place.
But the danger lies in happenstance
And a wasted life a tad banal
As I fear without some modest gesture,
It will be like I was never here at all.
The End
For those who are interested. I will be posting my cartoon 'Bob's Your Uncle' on my homepage. A new one will appear every couple of days or so.
walk softly on the Earth,
we are all connected;
words impact like feet.
Walk Softly Dear Kelly Ann
Walk softly in my memories dear Ann-
Speak of quieter dawns and calm skies
Sweetness that graces thy heart,
Remember messages in our joyous cries,
Blessings in each day's new start.
Walk softly in my memories dear Ann-
Sing of love, life and family times
Of our kisses under bright full moon,
Vacations on beaches in summer climes,
Loving nights that never came too soon!
Walk softly in my memories dear Ann-
Hold onto candles that burned nightly
and warm touches of loving hands,
loving whispers uttered quietly,
within the paradise of love's golden lands!

I love the way you walk in your stilettos
The clickety click sound of your heels
The seductive sway of your hips
And the luring gaze that appeals
But when you walk softy
That is what I love the best
As your stilettos cover new territories
Across my bony chest
Oh the view my Soupies the view
Of man’s weakness I do stare
But never trust a woman in stilettos
As your bit lay unattended and bare.
Uhhhhhhhh!

I smile serenely and sit
waiting as my mentor taught
to please weary gentlemen
massaging egos.

Walk softly in my garden
For the Rose's they will pardon
All the pansies in their places
with such happy little faces
If you look through all the trees
you'll see houses, birds and bees
I have fountains here and there
for the birds to come and share
Small houses you may peep in
where the frogs they all do sleep in
And the clover in the hollow
Captures moonbeams if you follow
All the wind chimes will amuse you
As the sound they make goes through you
There's a small bench waiting there
if you want to sit and stare
Then at dusk the magic happens
All the tree lights start there dancing
As they twinkle through the night
filling hearts with such delight
So please visit in my garden
The Rose's they will pardon
If you sit there for awhile
I can guarantee a smile...
