At a time when a vital organ of mine began to fail,
I thought I started walking to the end of the trail.
To the benevolence of the Almighty I then gave in,
prayed for His blessings, so the battle I could win.

I got healing touch
His kindness revealed to me
power of prayer

Premium Member With Every Breath We Take

With every breath we take
It is the world that breathes
It the world that lives
And when we die what grieves

We are its vital organ
Its senses that proclaim self
Our laughter, our tears, our joy
Individual aspects of nonself

The beauty of a sunset
The wind blowing through trees
It is we who perceive
And through us the world sees-

Touches, taste, smells, and feels
Our dreams are the worlds dreams
All our hopes and our fears
The rushing brooks and streams

The sun rise ‘bove the mount
Surmounting all our doubt
The moon thro’ glooming night
midst the silence, a shout!

We need but feel a part
Of all that which we share
From the stars that clothe us
To every breath of fresh air

In your head

it's all in your head
yes, it's all in my head
that's quite literally
the problem, in my head is
my brain, a vital organ

they call it mental illness
but a broken brain harm's
the body

so, telling someone
"it's all in your head" is
as useless as telling
someone having a
heart attack
"it's all in your heart"

Mountain of lies

By: Khomotso Makitla

Dear loved one, It’s me your UNREQUITED LOVER.
In hope I hoped that this day never unveil.
As your WHISPERS still roam free in brain, whispers
and hisses of broken promises.
I nearly fumbled to open my heart once more,
But I once trembled on your mountain of lies.

Stone by stone I was there but there I was not,
Piles of those stones turned into a mountain and far i was pushed.
That mountain’s shadow tinted my heart,
For my heart is dark still, and I thought I was tough like steel.
But you’ve shown how easy it is to steal, once vital organ,
And turn it into a hard and cold object.

But I watched as your mountain of lies Mounts and the colder you become.
The shoulder to cry on, turned into the shoulder that made me cry on,
Never believed in cruelty, but that was my reality.
Surely I didn’t believe that rubbles of stones can incline into this shade of,
Darkness, that blind folded me from seeing the majestic hill up front.

That why I like to say fool me once, and like ancient Artifacts you will,
Be the thing of the past. ©?

Broken Heart

That vital organ
That pumps blood throughout
We’d die without it, there’s no doubt.
And yet
When it breaks and is betrayed
The person is already slayed.
The heart is a fickle, foolish beast
And a broken one is quite diseased.

Premium Member Power of Prayer

At a time when a vital organ of mine began to fail,
I thought that was the beginning of the end.
The miserable mind plunged in the abyss of despair,
for modern medicines seemed not to work.

As I reached the fading edge of optimism,
receiving the destiny’s signal for departure,
I submitted to the benevolence of the Almighty,
prayed for His blessings for miraculous cure .

I found in the gloom of the dismal nights,
His light illumine the darkness of the future.
My soul sailed in the sea of faith as never before,
and my organ got the divine healing touch.

I got a changed life as the epiphany dawned
with new sunrise in the firmament of consciousness,
my senses felt the essence of His munificence,
and I realized the power of prayer.

I faced the miserable plight of a failing vital organ
Thought that was the beginning of the ordained end
As modern medicines didn’t work the way they should
My mind plunged into the abyss of stark despondency.

I hovered at the crumbling edge of fading optimism
Receiving destiny’s distinctive signal for departure
As the last resort I sought the benevolence of God
Prayed for His blessings for a miraculous recovery.

Agonized by the gloom of dismal nights I perceived
His radiance illumine the darkness of my fatal future
My soul swam to the supreme savior in the sea of faith
Knowing that He always takes care of what He creates.

As my servitude sensed the signal of His omnipresence
The trust of getting sure protection in His benign shelter
Enhanced my mental strength to fight for the rejuvenation
I was blessed my organ revived through divine intervention.

A time came when a vital organ of mine began to fail
And I thought that was the beginning of the end
The miserable mind plunged in the abyss of hopelessness
As the course of modern medicine didn’t find its way.

As I reached the delusive edge of fading optimism
Receiving destiny’s unmistakable signal for departure
I surrendered to the benevolent power of the Almighty
Praying for His blessings for a miraculous recovery.

Tormented by the gloom of the dismal nights I found
His light illumine the darkness of the doomed future
My soul swam to the supreme savior in the sea of faith
Perceived that His grace always protects what He creates.

As my servile senses felt the essence of His omnipresence
The belief of getting assured protection in His benign shelter
Invigorated the mental strength for incredible rejuvenation
My organ got the healing touch through divine intervention.

Disease

There’s a parasite
It’s sweeping across the world
Corrupting thousands
Killing thousands more
And yet-
Once this murderous disease is brought to light,
The world shuns it
Ridicules those that have been infected
Why is it,
That those lives lost
Are being mocked?
It’s an illness
An illness of the mind
An illness of the thing that makes you human
An illness that destroys what makes you, you
So why?
Why is it such a taboo to have?
It’s a sickness that tears you down
Bringing only
Suffering
Anguish
A rift between family and friends
And an ocean of tears
And yet
The ignorant many
They claim that,
“It is only your imagination”
So, the products of vivid thought
Kill people?
Forgive me but,
I fail to see how that works
You can’t go a day without wanting it to end…
...You’re life that is
Yet the ignorant many,
They claim that,
“It is all in your head”
Yes, it is
The most vital organ
it’s a disease of the mind
Bringing forth the absolute decay of life

A Cold Winter Sigh

A frost cloud hovers above me
Numbing my senses
Trying to freeze a vital organ inside you see
Sometimes it gets so cold nothing seems to matter
As im put in a deep freeze
I spit it up
And cough out my lungs
Feeling dissappionted with the world
As im sure it will be also with me
I guess i could live a life unsung
Because all this frustration in me builds pressure
Oh how i wish i could just run and fly
What's the point in being sober
If you still feel like you want to die
Just want to run and hide
Waste away
And burn out in a twinkle of an eye
So are these thoughts in this cold winters sigh

My Atomic Lover

My atomic lover, chemically induces me.
Transforms me into substances and breaks,
Down, my anatomy.

He starts with my mind, as complex as it may be
Changes my compound structure, my neurons
      To transmitters, stop functioning naturally
I no longer can process, the capability to reason freely.
He interrupts my thought pattern, and emotionally challenges me.

After the mind is stimulated, he advances to my heart
A vital organ, made up of 4 chambers, this is the crucial part
My heart cannot transfer, what the mind is telling me
It races out of control, in all urgencies.

All my senses then awaken, with one single touch
My vital signs, are compromised, as a passionate persuasion erupts
My heart skips a beat, at the thought of his loving ways
So pacient kind, and understanding, never ceases to amaze

An ignition starts, that revives the heart. I can never give enough praise
My atomic lover, I will love you till my, departing days.

Compressed Climates

Numberless climates, the depraved world is swimming in gravy in climatic types, (Situations, Positions) the hour essences, high- and low- pressure, erring vital organ cleaning, rehearse prayer, scrub the intellect and soul in company with a air compressor. Be pleased for having lessor.

Unshed Tears

Slice me with your tongue,
Razor blade wounds,
To suck out all my poisens,
Sweet lonely lullaby,
Accusing eyes of sadism,
Picture perfect prodegy,
My Deadly Sin,
A bitter taste of arson,
Burning in my vital organ,
Your the pyre that burns away my mortality,
A sip of tea made from Lilly of the Valley,
A shadow of Death stalking,
With odd angel like wings,
A Numbing kiss like Drowning in Morphine,
My Oblivion,
Sweet arms to rest in till my vision no longer holds,
Eyes neither like Hell nor Heaven,
Cocain Addiction,
That Drip of Drugs into your system,
Intoxicated blood stream,
I'd rather not dream,
And instead get lost within - Your paralysing,
Your Paralysing, Brain lapse,
Your moving too fast,
Stay slow and dreamy,
Dancing silhoutte,
Like a burning forest fire,
Pain throughout my veins,
Ravishing and Beautiful,
A voice torn from my throat,
Dying joyfully,
With my last sight of you. . .

Forever

Can you feel the pulse in your hand? It's not too hard for you to understand.
You hold my host, the most vital organ.
The rhythm in my chest at best thumps only for you.
I'm blessed by Misty Dawn and she equals Jimmy Matthew.
Yes in my heart is where you belong, and if I could sing, I would sing you a song.
I confess I've searched for nothing less than a love we share for so long.
Thirty-one years and now it's here.
It's all good. I'm your Robin Hood and you're my Guinevere!
     I'll forever hold you dear.
Never behind or in front but beside me. I'll forever guide you eternally.

No rules using multiple syllables to express and stress my deepest desire.
Yes you light so bright my insides like a bonfire.
If I could I would hand you an empire!
What can I say, forever and a day. We are on our way. Never M.I.A.
We share the same spiritual D.N.A.
From now 'til we are old and gray. You'll forever be my favorite entree!
