Tired

I am tired.
Tired of these humans

Its not that good people don't exist
Yet, a lot of good people are attached to bad people

It is exhausting!
Like leeches...sucking you dry. I do not understand why. How... when... this will be over.

I chose to be a LOVEr
so I chose to be a LOSEr

I feel like a total loser. I lose so much. I am so exhausted.
I just had to let this out.
I will always say God is good. Because GOD IS GOOD
that's understood but I deserve

to do more than survive, but thrive
and everyone around me is truly barely surviving.
Land of the dead.
Dawn of the living...

End times right?
I hope this ends soon.
Better days are ahead.

Premium Member Road Trip

My ROAD TRIP this weekend is much needed
My threshold for patience has been exceeded!
Staring at 4 walls at home alone is the worst!
I need a getaway or my brain will burst!
The love of my life was always there when I needed
Now that she’s in heaven I’m seriously impeded
I’m so glad poetry is my venting outlet
Otherwise I might often break out in a cold sweat!

Venting Volcano

Only time they ever say anything
Is when they either want to show sympathy
Or try and scold me
Don't worry, il remove myself
Before fire burning inside me starts to burn things
Best if i stay away from so called "family"
Life beating me down everyday
How much more can i control what burns the seas
I want to let it out
My soul screams and shouts.

Whisper To the Wind

Walking through a summer night
Swaying back and forth , present street
A wistful longing crept into my sight .

Shifting my gaze upon the roads
Across the little boys holding the ball ,
Were the men , weary of their loads
The blues are deep before the fall
      Forever more - I wander .

Knocked my feet off the ground
Up above the world , a sombre sky
So vague , I dare not make a sound
Incomprehensible to the dear , aye
       Forever more -. I endure .

On the brink of torment ,vanished the pride,
As my catchment cleared into the sea
A whisper to the wind , I sighed
Embraced with warmth and so was I free
      Forever more - I strive .

Gusts of wind flurried through the future
And so shall it be --
In my silence , can you hear?
In my solitude , I shall bear.

Venting

I lay awake at night
And I think my thoughts are
Relentless
I need a moment to breath
I needed a moment to vent this

Premium Member Venting Skies

Skies above vent pent up emotions -
ripe anger cracks stormy patterns
in vivid, threatening feels.

Skies above vent pent up emotions.
Though I feel severe sky warnings,
I am sight caught and fast locked.

Skies above vent pent up emotions -
Ripe anger cracks stormy patterns.

So
tired.

Up
from the
car, in-
to
the building,
stairs,
open the door and shut,
I trudge
past
the books,
typewriter,
junkmail on the table,
through the dark hall,
into the warm light
of the 45watt-equivalent LED bulb next to my bed.
I undress
and burrough
under
the comforter.

And sleep
creeps into the room.

Late at night i sit
on the edge of my bed
my ears stopped up with medical rubber
pressing the diaphragm of the stethescope against
my chest. Listening
for a sign.

The stars are not so far.
You may pluck them
like berries, and pop them in your mouth
and they will twinkle on your tongue,
or you can put them in your pockets like candies,
or carry them home in a handkerchief.
Remember to roll up your slacks
as you stand in the river of wind,
your bare feet clutching the grass as you reach.

Night makes you taller than the street lamps
as you stroll farther and farther from bed,
your head about to bump the moon.
The Earth does not feel your weight
as it spins through the darkness
unable to reach the end,
just spinning
and spinning through darkness,
meteors flying past it like warning shots
as meteorites penetrate its airy flesh.
And it spins as fast as it can
trying to stay out of the way
but unable to escape,
blue and beautiful,
a jewel the rocks will never celebrate
as they collide in space in "hoorays" of dust and
silent booms.
Blue jewels are not gems in space
they are freaks,
forever squirreling around the sun,
as the galaxy goes on,
twinkles on,
spiraling down the cosmic drain
of a
big
black
hole ---

Blades grate
chunks of cabbage
scattered on the counter like pallid moss.

Choose
a duck,
its flesh dry and red,
and seasoned,
its broken neck
rigid in the stainless noose.
It looks
so good
in the window,
even better in broth,
on my spoon,
tender
and ready to chew.

Variables Regarding Venting

Variables Regarding Venting

There are behavioral variable regarding venting;
Some seem to be about disturbing and dissenting;
And maybe possible,
Are also irresponsible,
And if a religious sort they should be repenting.

Venting

I once was young
And now I'm not.
That knowledge gets
To me a lot.

My hair is thin,
My skin is lined
And if you ask,
Of course I mind!

My knee hurts when
I walk the stairs.
Complaining's useless -
No one cares.

Forgive my mood -
It's evident
That there are times
One needs to vent.

Venting

I got a hair pin trigger
Got a holster on my hip
Put a nickel on my needle
So my record don't skip

My attitude is ugly
There's no beauty in my beast
My attention span is faulty
And my anger has increased

I got a nasty disposition
Got a thirst I cannot quench
It smells like broken spirit
I can hardly stand the stench

I got a sudden disconnection
Lug the load that's on my mind
I am NOT your great sensation
I'm the son that never shined

Premium Member Without Venting My Spleen

The sun has shifted, it's now on my screen
Must close the curtains, who could have foreseen
But whatever sol wants
I'll join in his dance
'Cause sun makes me happy, without venting my spleen
