The Sonnet of Valeria Botello

Deep voices from the earth call out her name
Growling and rumbling, corpses from graves
Summoned by the devil, she cannot tame
The monster within, locked away in caves

Her name is a folk tale, forbidden lore
Her lips are untouched, as evil deprives
Her voice is an omen, harbinger roar
Her touch, a death sentence, no one survives

Demons from the depths of hell, here to take
Wicked deals made long ago, ink still wet
Always on the run, death left in the wake
No one understands, the curse that’s been set

Beauty on the surface, pain underneath
The girl who runs from monsters with big teeth

Nature Whispers

free verse(3)
Valeria Iliadou-Nature, Four In One

Billowing wind, hands can't tame your brunt
With holy oaths you unlock life's hunt.
Miracles are melting while sharp rain breaks,
As each loss is just a change
-Earth's fatal redemption-
An instinctive bending under the peal of a thunder,
A choice to silence the deafening mediation,
Hidden in holes dry.
Natural randomness, the path of a human life.
There is a stolen fire, divine
And guilty traces on human hands,
-You can smell smoke and coal on finger lines-
Rough lines, on them walking minds greedy.
Rockets fired and we applaud,
Yet the dawn of the fiery sun lies in the eyes of the wise,
Only.
And melodies are coming from the bottom of the ground,
In the midst of our time.
November. Birds are calling for peace,
Yellow birds, on yellow stones, on branches carved
On leafs' grace, they are calling for peace,
Seeking the days of the Summer,
When sun returned
Wise and peaceful
As a King crowned.

Tanka Dream

Wish I earned king's crowns
Or even build my empire
With money floating round.
Yet, to stay in history's edge
By Glory Embraced:The Dream.

Blue

In mystic waves dive
Sea guards a stern endlessness.
Waken brunts of sky
Rush to blend into my mind,
As I smell the coming dawn.

From My Window

Worn ships are sailing
Riving the sea like sharp shivs,
To defiy dumb waves.

Raven's Dream

Through the sky's sharp edge
A mystery springs,
As birds aim their preys.
Misty tombs of rock,
Spilling grief like wine.

Exit from time,
A lapse of blow.
A trip to find
The Limbo's Island.

None left,
Just her guarding
Last bliss points.

With guns
Of lust

Empty.

The Gates

Lost consciences are passing the gates to divide the Kafkaesque instincts of freedom.

Heads Up Soldiers!

Soldiers heads up!The battle will now begin.
Raise your height to the steady sirens calling.
You only have one choice and this is to win.
Fight in a game of survival with conditions appalling.

Raise your height to the steady sirens calling.
On the other side the enemy waits for one wrong move.
Fight in a game of survival with conditions appalling.
Your weapons are your life.To the trigger your power prove.

On the other side the enemy waits for one wrong move.
Look around soldiers.Today is the time for a decision.
Your weapons are your life.To the trigger your power prove.
Fate will be your fatal glory, invading your inner vision.

Look around soldiers.Today is the time for a decision.
Are your innocent souls ready to carry such heavy load?
Fate will be your fatal glory, invading your inner vision.
Use your dreams to carve with steps and blood this road.

Are your innocent souls ready to carry such heavy load?
You only have one choice and this is to win.
Use your dreams to carve with steps and blood this road.
Soldiers heads up!The battle will now begin.

The Nights From So On

The nights..The nights from so on:
I lay down to sleep and my mind flies.
I watch dreams-movies leading
your hug and your laughter.
Our love too is now in plural.
They are the defenceless loves.
How could you let our one
die left and betrayed?
I am a person
gender female.
I own a heart
gender not female nor male.
Gender empty.
My empty heart.
Loved you.

Nubian Queen

At times I would wonder when she would come to my
door my Nubian Queen to greet me with a smile and
stay for awhile as we reminisce on what could've been
or what will be she is the Nubian queen to me.

She is the sista that tells me she loves me no matter
what we go through she will be standing there by my
side holding my hand not letting me feel deprived
from the love she has too share.

she has captured my heart which has been torn apart
from the past love experiences

that greeted me with pain only to sit and cry in the
rain and ask why must I en dour such suffering? What
have I done to deserve a selfish out right wrong
sista who head was twisted on wrong When all my love
for her was strong.

I will never ever let another tear me down, crush my
dreams and my hopes of happiness within for my Nubian
queen whoever she maybe will guide me and nurture me
back to where I belong and that is love by a true
black Nubian queen she is too me.
