In better days of better ways we chanced upon the mind
Of great and grand adventure, of great and grand design
To sail the open seas coursing near and far
Uncharted in the ways, unguided by the stars
At the mercy of the wind we vied the stormy seas
To mount the raging crests and weather in the lees
Onward ever onward past reasons reach we strove
To gather to our breasts the sum of wisdoms trove

One day, one may go
In places we don't want to know
Just assure that your name is written
Embossed in gold shining in heaven.
Yes, I'm preaching
To the soul that's needing repair
I'm talking to all who hears His teaching
To warn a deluge will come so each life may spare.
The world is delicate right now
Rumors of Armageddon is creeping
I do hope Moscow show love somehow
So we can live a life we want for keeping.
Somehow Nostradamus has more to say
Than the Political Analyst wants to debrief
Believers of God and Peace Makers always pray
That all is well that ends well finds a relief.
I have high hope that World Leaders do good
So United Nation not bedeviled and not be unguided
That life may continue to thrive and not be booed
By Devils who want this world to be divided.
The Second Coming is here then
If you just know it in your heart
He is now intervening the affairs of men
We just have to chose our role and take our part.

despite some consideration for the hows, whys, wherefores and whether
unguided, wandering through known universe tying things together
aged in millenniums, centuries, decades, days, hours and minutes
each one existing where all things may be true within their own limits
why, oh why have such tribulations of strife and tears befallen us?
does not the wealth of true human knowledge speak to and through all of us?
must we believe that all human foibles are prone to repetition?
beneficial ideologies should improve the human condition
avoiding pretension, apologies create their own disguises
unannounced guest from the past, guilt arrives in many shapes and sizes
we are fragile beings, unsuited to living beyond our planet
prone to greed, prejudice, long lasting grievances and truth's abandonment
often more than willing to turn into our own worst protagonist

The curiosity of babies,
The search in their spirits,
The sojourn in their minds,
The depth in their eyes.
The curiosity of babies,
The search in their steps,
The unravelling in their findings,
The travail in their voices.
The curiosity of babies,
The trouble in their eyes,
The hurt in their gestures
The gloom in their moods.
The curiosity of babies,
The painstaking in their efforts,
They are unyielding in their journeys,
The turbulence in their pursuits.
The curiosity of babies,
The pains in their misdirection,
The scars in their unguided moments,
The losses in random places.
The curiosity of babies,
The joy in their hearts,
The merry in their voices,
The smiles on their faces.

I think that after all the words are said
there will be nothing left inside the head
except the deadened space of life’s vacuum
smoke from an un-damped fires ash filled plume.
The muse in full restraints is led away
Its once enlightened fingers led astray
unguided as they drift on whimsy’s wont
a parched and broken wordless dried up fount.
And yet within the darkness of such dread
a longing for the words is slowly bred
seeps into the stones of crumbling wealth
enters the vacant minds with muse-like stealth.
For words must have their moment, must be said
to honor those who found their voice and led.

Dr. Yaya has the whole town in his pocket
Apart from being a strong member of the ruling cabinet
He's a super merchant in oil and fine gold
Sadly he's never being the people's stronghold
In his sixty years of being in politics
He's being a negative influence and a merchant of tricks
He's the force the government uses to direct a blow
Because he's always being the people's foe
This principality has his mansion built on a hilltop
Where the youths in the hill town can't have a problem and stop
The day he became ailing because he fell in his bathroom
Marked the beginning of his doom
Because his condition became his enemies tool
They took his stool and cornered him like a village fool
Who in want of wisdom threw his shoes in a well
His barefootedness will surely make people marvel
Charity they say begins at home
When you go to farm remember that you'll return home
The merchant of crude behaviours
Died without any honors
Even the members of his family
Didn't bury him delightfully
And after burying their unguided relative
No one could resist the people as they dance on his grave.

First motion is practiced at sunrise
With devout courage and humble strength,
Unobserved, unguided, and alone.
First motion glides over the accent.
Some say swan dive, some jack-knifed tractor trailer,
Balanced graceful as a feather on the sharp edge of a sword.
First motion goes down with a karma chaser.
Repeat until you leave with empty pockets.
First motion isn’t drunk, just happy-go-lucky.
First motion is taken as given,
Today, and the day after today, and tomorrow.
Having so prepared, one is ever poised to face battle.
As Prince Arjuna knows, this world is no place for pussies.

In a warm bath tub, you and me,
bath salts,bubbles,perfumed water,
naked together, knee to knee,
trickles time, faster and faster!
Touch of soft skin in aqua warm,
passions aflame, forest fire,
thunder, lightening, rumbles storm,
lips on lips, bare chest, live wire!
Skin to skin in timeless embrace,
fingers tips trace contours of mind,
heart wanders in unguided daze,
where love can see but death is blind!
All of oceans unmeasured depth,
expanse of the limitless sky,
Love can fill with a single breath,
may be we live or we may die!
Half lit forests with crescent moon,
howl of wind shakes denuded trees,
unseen danger lurk in sand dunes,
undeterred we love, carnal peace.
Lets live this moment, moments last,
a few more moments until dawn,
to be swept, buried in times past,
loves farewell, before I am gone!
Guns rattle on in distant night,
abandoned lanes and broken homes,
in a lost cause, no wrong, no right
I journey soon to where death roams.

Oh God, these humble words of faith flow from my heart.
Show me the light to go through the dark alley of strife,
hold me in your divine arms when it’s time to depart,
till then give me strength to bear the pains of toiled life.
In my unguided wanton life like the pole star you’ll glow,
till the end of journey don’t ever leave me, I pray to you,
heavenly light will escort me wherever I’m destined to go,
there in my illumined soul I’ll discover the lost bliss anew.

Darts zip through curling clouds of smoke
Slipping through fingers to find the mark
Moving targets fall away at the speed of light
Hurled objects with feathers score with the floor
A bar tender smiles as drafts suds up
The bullseye is nowhere near his ear
Workers are too bored with life to care about Polly parrot
Darts miss marks by a mile as the cage gets hit
Birdie is saved this time from an errant flip of the wrist
Beers at happy hour have never been more happy
Unguided missiles do little thinking in the wee hours
Young men scream out insults to top one another
On whose mother has more facial hair and weight
As the board becomes more square than round
Pretty women play jutebox music to entice
To dance, to sharpen skills, to hunt for prey
With love and war all is fare they say
Coming to that conclusion while playing a game

And so he stood as shadows ran their course
across the fading words of failing life
fingering love’s beauty, eschewing strife
savoring the “better’s, tossing the “worsts”
for life had offered him both dark and light
to guide him through the lies of sainted knaves
cast him adrift to ride its breaking waves
on seas that wash ashore the moonless night.
Bereft of all the vestiges of man
alone within the emptiness of loss
his vision- an endless bridge to cross
unguided in the darkness of Light’s plan.
Love pained his clouded heart for it had lied
reneged on endless promises it made
left him a broken man nothing to trade
amid a thunderous turmoil it had died.
So does he harbor anger’s raging surf
its surging waves the lies of love’s deceit
denying him the solace of retreat
unable to reclaim love’s bloodied turf.

I am mad.
The question is not yet settled
whether all that is profound
is compassless in the vast ocean of lucid reason
I loved, unguided,
Among many millions of fragrant flowers
Knowing nothing of the world
Without mentor to govern
My tideful mind
A love for which there were no words
A most hermetic love to find
Are these the most arcane experiences to be had?
I'd be content to know not

She spent her youth in concert sinning
A fact half known but fast ignored
"I'll trade your past for a new beginning"
Said off the cuff but now an ode
She wonders if he really knows
She feels her body's spent for giving
A good man she deems him, and rightly so
Complicates further the decision
"Oh god where were you before,
Before I mastered at deceiving?"
So close to words these thoughts did grow
But prunned by his ribbon wrapped unveling
She wonders if she should say 'no'
"I'm I my past or my ambition?"
She wants a family and a home
To lead a life that's worth it living
Her mouths agape set to respond
No trace of his confidence thinning
A persistent shiver in her bones
She wonders if it's her he's seeing
His knee is floored, his face is grinning
He thinks her flattered to the brimming
Her head is spinning, her limbs are cold
She whispers, 'yes...'
As she wonders on....
