Rain falls steady, I'm in bed
Wishing you could rest your head
Upon my chest, lie next to me
I would kiss you fervently
With not much time to catch a breath
My passion rising from the depths
Unbridled, there's no steady rain
Hard enough to quell this flame
Unity disguise
As broom to poster power
Poor distasteful claim.
Unbridled, Untied, reaching to the infinities, Thou
- Rabindranath Tagore---Geetanjali
17th December
Unbridled, Untied, reaching to the infinities, Thou
Strumming with own, melodious mellow
Blossoming thine grace in fragrance of mine
Hence, thy reason, gentle and sweet, stays on, rumination.
For so many vibrance, color and chime
For so many a song, came along, rhythm and rhyme.
For they, simplest and gentlest, affectionate and loving
Understood a soul in silence, long lost heartache and grace, embracing.
Thou, a shrine, and I, when, integrity, underneath
Glowing in the dark, the ever-flowing David and Goliath.
The books of divine, where they remembered us in thine
Grace and her seven seas, an enormous possibility
The fathomless oceans and the foamy seas,
The wave and the droplets, reflections, deep
Luminous tranquility, and a rueful serenity, shadowless
Returns to me, in becoming mine
Teardrops and churns, emotion and serene
trickles down on me, a mournful sea!
All-encompassing Thou, traces back to me
Sweetness, overwhelming, and grace
undisturbed, absorbed a mood along, joyous!
Oh what a pity
that in David's great city
they built a skyscraping tower.
the which to describe
my poor words lack all power.
Those who dwell in its heights
enjoy rapturous sights
of the noble city below,
where those in the pit
who look up at it
are denied a commensurate show.
Now who had the cheek,
if you let me thus speak,
to call this 'the Holy Land'?
If its name had been 'Babel'
I'd be better able
to explain the way things stand.
A few tears have smudged the script.
To the chiseled thoughts that ran encrypt.
The origin of the legend is unknown.
Rise up, silent relics from your own
To a magical decor, the syllables drift.
as sleeping birds continue to sing a gift.
I'm musing over pastel periwinkle tears.
A tune that will never leave our ears
An upbeat reworking, laced with delight.
Moves the heart-rending epic by night.

"Cling to joy, audacious and unbridled joy, that looks for light in everything, even in your waiting."
- Morgan Harper Nichols
Unbridled joy in my heart,
Beats its rhythm to a new start,
Glorious morning, I see,
Birds and butterflies fly free,
My soul soars high with the wind,
Watching the white clouds, I grinned,
Life is beautiful, enjoy,
Take a walk through nature's joy,
Silent wild woods calling out,
How can I not stop and shout,
A hummingbird flutters by,
Laughing loud, I watch it fly,
Twirling to nature's music,
Pleased with her charming magic,
Unbridled joy in my heart,
Smugly smiling, I depart.

For Constance La France's "Writing Challenge - Unburden a "U" Word" contest
I put a mere desire into your hole,
although
it’s only a misleading impression.
My right leg is dwelling in a bowl of potpourri,
My left leg is drowned by unacceptable intimacies.
Amid the flock of birds, I 'm chasing the wind
or win.
Maybe,
under the silver lining
you catapult my eyeballs to your fading shadow.
My soul adores the reality,
whirling like a dervish,
even there’s no fallback position
once I fall in love with you.
I'm much in love,
with a much waiting.
A pile of pale, blush to think of what
a fool I made of myself,
How your white teeth and rosy lips
are sealed with an unbridled enthusiasm.
Please let me put a bouquet of flower
near your ear,
as the souvenir in this Indian summer.
Don’t feel a sense of betrayal
when our fingers dissolve in a subtle shade of pink.
Woman, so fancy fair of form
You swivel sultry past me
O, how can I weather your storm
My temperature rises
Heart pounding apace
I check my impulse au natural
To take up the siren chase
Like a caged lion, my insides rage
Belie the placid countenance
Of a man of advancing age...
Then with a moan of unbridled lust
For your body I lunge
As you dissolve into nothingness
~ Off night's bed have I plunged
We ought never give in to our unbridled desires
for
soon they would turn into our merciless tyrants

the white horse drives our wild hides
galloping at a breathtaking stride
through golden sand, shimmering diamonds,
borne in the salted sea air. splashes
of Caribbean blue ride the haunches of fur
frenetically free with tenacious pride.
two hearts pound, unbridled - brittle years
sculpted into a fine figurine, never broken.

Love to laugh and make others laugh too
Unbridled merriment is foremost in my zoo
Nothing's changed
My brain's still strange
Not responsible for my wobbly loose screw
Love to laugh and make others laugh too
Unbridled merriment is foremost in my zoo
Nothing's changed
My brain's still strange
Not responsible for my wobbly loose screw
These days of changing values can be hard:
What once was just, today's considered wrong.
Some things encouraged now at one time jarred,
Abandoned now are values once held long.
Unquestioned rules and customs are eschewed,
And standards jettisoned yet not replaced.
What once was fixed has now become unglued,
While words which all revered are now erased.
But while injustices should be redressed,
Iconoclasm can exceed all sense—
When free expression finds itself suppressed,
Then tolerance becomes a sad pretense.
For though things change, some things stay valid still:
Light is not dark, nor yet is good now ill.
