Antiquities Door

I've observed my thoughts
They naturally flow through my mind
Some true, some scripted
Some redundant, unkind

These are my memories, creating emotions
They're my unique experience in this life
Viewed from a platform
Sometimes exposing a neurological strife

We must turn through all the pages
Go beyond the human history of time
It is there we find the answers
Stamped in our ancestral climb

Like waves in the ocean
That relentlessly pounds the shore
The past flows through us
Like a stranger knocking at our door

We try to avoid this stranger
We’re frozen with fear
But the knocking keeps coming
Year after year

It's the ancestral sound
Of those who came before
Surprisingly, the noise lessens
When we open antiquities door

Now the waves begin to subside
As does the ancient battle in my mind
I become the true observer of the thoughts
They're clear and kind

Premium MemberAntidote For A Troubled Heart

I walk alone where the frost bites deep,
Where silence howls and shadows creep.
The world forgot me—left me bare,
A ghost among the living air.

I cry, but echoes mock my plea,
No arms, no voice, no sanctuary.
Yet still I breathe, though breath feels thin—
A whisper of defiance within.

The antidote is not a cure,
Not warmth, not love, not something pure.
It’s grit in the soul, it’s blood in the frost,
It’s counting the wins when all feels lost.

It’s memory—faint, but still it clings,
Of lullabies and angel wings.
It’s forgiving myself for the scars I wear,
For trusting hearts that weren’t there.

It’s dreaming in ruins, painting the ash,
It’s dancing alone in a world so brash.
It’s stillness that speaks when no one will,
A quiet strength, a sacred chill.

So let them turn, let them forget—
I am the storm they haven’t met.
My heart may ache, but it won’t die,
I rise each time I’m told to cry.

The antidote? It’s not their grace.
It’s finding fire in empty space.
It’s me. It’s now. It’s every start—
The pulse that beats in a troubled heart.

Premium Member988 - A Bridge Over Troubled Waters

In the depths of your mind, where shadows reside,
A voice whispers doubt, with nowhere to hide.
Depression's a monster, a weight on your chest,
A longing for solace, a moment of rest.

The future seems hopeless, a relentless refrain,
"You're lost in the darkness, there's nothing to gain."
But wait, through the struggle, a beacon appears,
Three digits of hope, dispelling all fears.

Nine-eight-eight (988), a number to hold,
A lifeline for all, a story to be told.
Not just for veterans, with burdens they bear,
But for every soul drowning in despair

The battles they fought for, the freedom we claim,
Now a lifeline extended, a whisper of a name.
For teenagers troubled, for mothers in pain,
For anyone lost, caught in life's pouring rain

Don't let silence fester, don't let darkness win,
Reach out with three numbers, a chance to begin.
A listening ear, a voice strong and true,
To mend broken pieces, and see you anew.

So spread the word widely, a message to claim,
Nine eight eight whispers, hope's burning flame.
Let it echo through valleys, on mountains it'll rise,
A beacon for all, beneath vast, open skies.

Troubled Love INSIGHT

             The thoughts are risen: But nobody to listen;
Hot breaths from lungs continually waltzed over skin.
Everyday my sleepless heart cries alike the pouring rain.
I wish there could have been a “traffic signal” just to notify us
In times like these we cannot presume everything to be normal.
Doused frantic emotions stare at the glim.
              Finding the gimmick of Love!
Let's dance together amidst the flower and devour Nature's power.
Amidst all the false accusations & tensions...
Our Undying divine love overflows boundlessly demanding immeasurable unite.

Bridge Over Troubled Waters

Hello, my dear friend, your presence in my life is a blessing.
No challenge in life should be so daunting that you can't reach out for help. We are here for each other, a force to be reckoned with, united by our shared experiences that bind us, regardless of the obstacles we face. Everything is fixable; nothing is beyond our grasp. Set your goals, and if you pursue your dreams with unwavering determination, they will come to fruition.

Remember, when you hurt, I hurt. When you cry, I cry. Please feel free to share your feelings and thoughts. I am deeply committed to your well-being and will always be here for you. Have faith in God and trust that we can navigate even the most turbulent waters together.

Sticking By A Troubled Friend

Problems come and problems go
But there's one thing you should know
If good friends stand by your side
Helping through the bumpy ride
Knowing love is all around
Till your back on level ground
The smallest problems disappear
Soon they are no longer there
Days are happier again
With the good kind hearted friends
Who never bailed or walked out
Their minds without a single doubt
Sticking by a friend in trouble
Running to you on the double
With hugs tightly warm and soothing
Holding on and never losing
Sight of what needs to be done
True friends will not leave or shun
They'll hang on until the day
Your frown turns the other way
Back into a joyful smile
That has been away awhile

Troubled Teen

When I was a kid, I learned to be sad.

I wouldn’t cry over lost balloons like I used to.

But rather, I learned to be solemn before I even knew what that meant.

When I was a kid, I learned how to tell time.

Which made me more sad.

When I was a teen, I learned about detention.

I would tap my feet until they yelled at me.

I would turn to the window and fight back tears.

And watch the kids with their balloons.

My time is being wasted in here.

My time doesn’t matter to them.

I leave detention.

And march home.

Unheard-Cries-Of-A-Troubled-Soul

Why do I feel Myself just sinking
With nothing and no one to hold on to
Slowly, yet, I am on solid ground
Do not think it ironic
It’s quite plausible

Only I am not sinking,
Not literally anyway
Just emotionally, psychologically, spiritually
There’s nothing of Me left

No, I am not crazy!
No, I am not delusional
No, I am not over-exaggerating
No, I am not under the influence!
Listen to me.

I did not vanish into thin air
I did not explode into tiny pieces
I am not invisible
Yes, you can still see Me
You can still hear Me!

But can you?
Is it Me you see?
Is it Me you hear?
Or is it the illusion of My body, My voice,
Struggling to exist, in agony, but perhaps with a little hope
The hope of a new dawn

Perhaps it will be better today than it was the centuries before
That hope is all I have left
All I have not to let go
But perhaps that too will fade.

I plead you save your laughter for a more dramatic act
Kick me not to the curb
Do not be ignorant of my suffering
And later have the boldness to say
“If only we knew”
At the place I will rest

LISTEN TO ME!
NOW

Premium MemberWhen Troubled, Sad and Lost

When I am troubled I walk in nature,
and soon my troubles are far, far away;
I start to notice the bird songs in the trees,
and beautiful nature all around me.

And I am kissed by a passing breeze !

When I am full of tears I seek nature,
though grief is like a stone holding me down;
the trees wrap me in silent peace,
and a stream babbles a melody for my soul.

And the passing breeze is an awaking !

When I am hurt and broken by this life,
a walk in nature helps me to let go;
I stop to pick a wildflower bouquet,
like I used to for my sweet mother once.

And I am kissed by a passing breeze !

When I am unloved, lonely and sad,
I remember that God is my best friend;
and he created nature for me and you,
so, on my walk he comes to me as a sigh.

And the passing breeze is an awaking !

In Troubled Times

Political and health epidemics
Are the topic of the news
It seems each day they intensify
Authorities all have different views

Normal carefree days are gone
There's tension and unrest
Solutions, often are hard to find
It's difficult to know what is best

Actually, troubles are not new
The Bible records, in the book of Job
Verse fourteen; one and two - -
Only a few days, is mankind's abode

Jesus was aware of worldly troubles
He often used them to exemplify
Parables He gave to multitudes
That His message would be glorified

Psalm twenty-three; verse four,
Gives credence to the fact
That in the midst of trouble
God's grace can have impact

There is light at the end of the tunnel
There is peace at journeys end
The One that hangs the stars at night
Will be closer than your dearest friend

So let us stay focused on His promise
In the midst of dismay and gloom
At the end of the trail, there is victory
Remember, - - He arose from the tomb

In my Father's house are many mansions if were not so I would have told you. Eyes to see oneself free as a maple leaf tree blowing in the wind is not easy yet he go to prepare a place for you that's how the testament words said
I Master of all masters said
And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto

In her eyes…

I see a piercing darkness
More chaotic, burning
Like a soul afire, doubting
Beautiful, peace, faith
The feelings that make grace
So amazing

In her eyes…

I see pain, weakness
From years of suspicions,
Worrying, questioning,
Unbelieving – the truth
That He is here – alive
Filling the soul with a light
That is like a candle
Burning away the dark

In her eyes….

I see a disbelief
Making me cringe
A doubt that fills the heart
With clouds, murky clouds
Fading out the goodness,
The miraculous and wonderful…
Silencing the music, the colors
Hues of hope, promise –
Arising from knowing Him,
The One who erased all my sin

In her eyes …

I see the color – black
Skeptical of His gentleness
His love – she is questioning

But, in her eyes…

I see the endless need
For a Savior who brings
The greatest love and the
Greatest peace – to those
Who just believe!

In her eyes…

I see me before I believed
