We live in an upside-down world,
I am quite dizzy being whirled;
topsy-turvy, I won't forgive~
In an upside-down world we live.
Just dance with me, it's relative,
topsy-turvy I won't forgive~
with you and I we will be free,
its relative, just dance with me.
We soon shall sail like ships at sea,
with you and I we will be free
to speak of love and leave the dale,
like ships at sea we soon shall sail.
We have the courage to prevail;
to speak of love and leave the dale,
leave all the topsy-turvy rage~
to prevail, we have the courage!

The world is topsy-turvy
And from what I can observe,
There’s so much that can unnerve me;
Every pitch thrown is a curve.
So much time I spend conversing
Focuses on things adverse.
In despair I keep submersing
And it just keeps getting worse.
Yet today, the sun is shining
And I’m feeling fit and fine,
So I’ll take a break from whining
And I’ll stick to the benign.
There is music, there is reading;
There are pathways to proceed
And if hope is what I’m needing,
I can find some, guaranteed.

I have been watching the reflective script of the above
Rocky and Bullwinkle show, its not a serious account, unless you go.? On
Climactic tangents of ideology.' Stratisfied in layers of
Polar opposite topography.' Ahead of its time, I do find,!
Its content worth study, as a window on climate lunacy.'
An antidote yet where laughs and jokes, aren't taken seriously.'
Which was a mistake.? According to the world we now see.'
And the antics some undertake.'

I once made an upside down pudding
But it slipped out whilst it was cooking
It covered the oven base
Was an absolute disgrace
Yet the taste was second to nothing.

Imagine if everything was topsy-turvy
The sky was a bright yellow green
Grass was a deep shade of crimson
The strangest darn sight you've seen
People walking around upside down
No need for wearing shoes
Six foot birds with smelly breath
A dog with a very loud mew
It would seem like a funny world
If all the pigs wore pants
An elephant doing a pirouette
Even crocodiles doing a dance
You'd eat some meat for a snack
For the main course only good stuff
Like some apple right-side-up cake
Which you could always get enough
What a topsy-turvy world it would be
If you greeted friends with “good-bye”
Total confusion would surely reign
Happy things would make you cry

The topsy turvy world of childhood
When the evening sun has drifted
And is dropping out of sight
The moon up in the heavens
Then brings forth another night
I just want to have some fun
I’ve energy to spare
I’ll be sent to flipping bed
And I don’t want to be there
When the morning sun is shining
And the day has just begun
The birds are singing loudly
And are having lots of fun
I look out of the window
And I feel a lot of dread
I don’t want to get up now
I want to stay in bed

It's a topsy-turvy world
Once-straight hair's now curled
From a putrid drop does
a precious newborn unfurl
Pry open the menacing clamshell
to remove a shining pearl
Swoops in an airborne twister
even rocks and boulders do whirl
Today mere commoners become
princesses, duchesses or earls
Benders transform lumps of food
into refined, delicate swirls
But poor girls' dreams die
in doughty aprons of working girls
burying rich visions of
fancy ballerinas who twirl

You promised me a second
I've been waiting for minutes
You promised me minutes
I've been waiting for hours
You promised me hours
I've been waiting for days
You promised me days
I've been waiting for months
You promised me months
I've been waiting for years
And still counting...
Now, I know your world is topsy-turvy
Promise me rainy days
And I'll wait for summer
Promise me love
And I'll learn to endure pain
Promise me a hug
And I'll look for my pillow
Promise to always be there by my side
And I'll learn to cope with solitude.
... Stranja..

Topsy-Turvy Love
Love turns the world upside down
slows the axial rotation
draws out passion’s sunset
compresses the hours together
shrinks the horizon to one face
cresting pillowed mountains.

The Blue Jays home opener is April 8th
Weatherman's predicts snow, hate... hate... hate
Not civilized for sure
Outlook's damn poor
The world's topsy turvy, sure am irate

Tomorrow will be frigid
Or at least that's what they say,
With wind chills on the minus side -
An indoor-staying day.
But then on Tuesday, temps will rise
To 52 degrees,
Allowing all the icy spots
To rapidly unfreeze.
I never know which jacket
Is appropriate to wear
In this topsy turvy weather,
Once considered very rare.
When unpredictable's the norm
What's surely come to pass
Is, like Alice, we have ventured forth
Beyond the looking glass.

What if boys were named for girls ?
What if girls were named for boys ?
Would girls play with cars and trains
or other sorts of toys ?
Would boys play with dolls and frills
or wear dresses - "Oh, so cute!"
Would everyone stay just the same
or would it be a "Hoot?"
What if men had the babies
and girls went off to war?
It would be a different world,
that's the only thing that's sure.
What would you choose your name to be
if you were the opposite sex ?
I do not know what mine would be,
but I certainly would be vexed.
Just imagine how it would seem
in such a Topsy-Turvy world.
So let's just keep it as it is...
Boys as Boys and Girls as Girls!

all behind me now
a memory of blue sky
a nebulous cloud haloing
darkness before me
mystery awaits the plunge
I peer sightless into dark
roots tendril to me
a grasping sight, intriguing
my golden curls dangle downward
imbalance betrays
I teeter on the abyss
enraptured, sound echoing
back lit baby fall
seek the navels ending point
heroine of day dreams, topple
leave the precipice
seek the joy of choice and fall
now, peeked, plunge, now called, now fall
What I would write based on picture 1 for my contest

What's the matter Mother World,
why are you in such
a topsy-turvy swirl?
Has Man again upset you so much?
Why is it that your face
has lost it's once flourishing green color
and your skin now blotching red,
your river'd throat aridly bled
and your inner-core rumbling hollow?
Is it because Men and Nation's
are too busy quibbling,
And greedily scrambling
over your bounteous generous donations?
That leads Man's descent
in self-destructing,
And you, your anger to vent
in quivering, belching, and lava spewing?
Has Man not his lesson's
learn't over timeless years
that their greed and actions
will result in raining acid tears?
