She Writes Them Now

She's never loved broken love poems,
but now she writes them.
She's always feared swollen heads and broken tones,
yet now she finds she fights them.
Despite her mother's devotion,
she's forgotten the taste of oxytocin -
broken bonds within the unspoken, spoken.
Now emotion runs frozen
underneath hollow motions.
These days she spends her time playing theologian.
Here's my question:
No one cares to know someone like that,
do they?

Premium MemberWhy this life?

Why this life?

Life is so incomprehensible often and often. Why this life? Why is this mine?
Many people live on our planet, with different and different fates, endless life
Different people, different nations, cultures, traditions, languages, lifestyles

Everyone can ask why this life. God knows the true answer, says the priests.
I am not sure. Hinduism and Buddhism explain my question about karma
But whose karma? Suffering is sometimes created by others, and that is my fate.

My negative karma sometimes not my creature, comes from dark energies
A Catholic theologian told me years and years ago, ‘We cannot understand it!
Our brains and understanding are limited! God’s Will is always hidden! His business!’

Joseph, the teacher was right, dear old religion teacher. God bless you, old friend!
Joseph said we must follow the ancient commandments to live and for live the life
Joseph was wise, I am trying to put myself on the way and walk on the narrow path.

I am staggering, stumbling
No more question
‘Why is this my life?’
Walk towards the light
I walk slowly by faith
My karma following me
… Goodbye… fate

I’ve been told
“things work out for the best”
in that way each of us
Divinely blessed

God in control they say –
if only Time didn’t hurt…

I believe in life hereafter
I believe no wrong God
can’t have undone; someday
somehow our dear Lord to make
all losses won --

God in control they say --
if only Time didn’t hurt…

God in control they say
though ticking I find unbearable
swinging pendulum a clank and
clunk~ when a heart sunk
too deep one’s despair...yet I
am told, God is always
fair – always there – somewhere
taking loving care

God in control they say --
if only Time didn’t hurt...

No theologian am I
just a common soul, treading, adrift;
questioning if sane to trust in fate --
dialogues with God sounding always
one sided debate --

I believe in love
while more questioning
my faith

God in control they say
your silence pushing me
further astray --
if only Time didn’t hurt...

If only Time didn’t hurt…

If only Time didn’t hurt….

Thinker, scholar, sophist; Duns was, yet, a humanist,
His thoughts actions exhibited him as true philanthropist…!

Constructing a metaphysical argument, he said,
Of the existence of God, that like rivers moves ahead…!

Aristotle or Aquinas need not be great masters,
When divine decree, like creation, does all things alters...!

A Franciscan priest and theologian, he explained,
The Immaculate Conception, with due coherence gained...!

Theology should be a sensible science of God,
Human beings should find love of Trinity never flawed...!

He differentiated faith of heart from thought of head,
Added tinges of humanity, and true love did spread...!

By John Paul II was John Scotus Duns canonized,
For metaphysics with Christian faith, he is eulogized...!

Duns Scotus was an enormously important theologian
He significantly influenced Catholic theology, early on,
A brilliant man of considerable influence in Scotland
Doctrines we take for granted were from him drawn.

A thirteenth century Franciscan, he was very erudite
Strange the idea of the dunce cap comes from his name
Though never pictured wearing a pointy-head funnel
His scholarship and philosophy contribute to his fame

Theories he believed came down through the tunnel
He opposed ideas of the Renaissance and Reformation
He would not give up his orthodoxy without a fight,
As far as we know, he was conservative in formation.

Because so little is known of him, much apprehension
He died young, perhaps without a full-rounded life
And since it was true then as in the modern priesthood
We know he never knew the joys of a faithful wife.

The Revered Reverend Martin Luther King Junior Second Part

(at risk of life and limb) against scourge of
racial prejudice courtesy
of sharecropper grandparents
whose objection to racial segregation
based on an affront to the will of God,
whereby the young whip smart precocious lad,

(whose impact we now memorialize)
showed his true colorful promise
when a young student at
Liberal Crozer Theological Seminary
in Chester, Pennsylvania
where the yet uncrowned

eminent king came under the influence
of theologian Reinhold Niebuhr,
a classmate of his father's
at Morehouse College
who became a mentor by exposing
his protégée to liberal views of theology

planting the seeds of ardent activism
that gave rise to
The Southern Christian
Leadership Conference (SCLC),
an initial platform
allowing, enabling and providing acclaim

hoisted up by petard
invariably only heightened
(his) posthumous status
as thee most articulate orator
spelling binding the listeners
with his metaphors about his emphatic march

to a promised land where all
men/women could be brothers/sisters
and no person will be judged
by the color of his/her skin
raising morale of many dirt poor
ebony masses to feel a glimmer of hope.

Community - Sad Developments

A worm in the wombs of creativity
Lady Poet "silenced" in a Writers' Community
Jeremiah warned our "wicked" hearts defy good intention
Why point to CHRISTmas? The investment at Crucifixion?

NOTE: One writer wrote, "The heart is the mother of all abominations." Thomas BOSTON. Yes, he was a British theologian but while the heart is also capable of love, consider the thin line between love and lust, marriages & abuses, Nationalism & Nazism, pride and possessiveness, Eros & Pornea. More after Christmas, not now. Shalom, shalom (Please pray or meditate on creating positive vibrations)

GIT THEE BEHIND ME SATAN-
All my soul within me pitching
Git thee behind me Satan
All my soul within me ditching
Only this and a shepherdess
Much I not marveled the mystic exorcist
Git thee behind me Satan
My mind always strays to enchanters

Much I not marveled this splendid priestess
I discovered the alchemists
And its eyes have all the witching
Git thee behind me Satan

The whipsaw witchery whipsawing
And so I screamed, 'Is that a theologian?'
Enchantress - enchantress - enchantress!
Suddenly, I heard some magicking
God forbid
The occult smiled

God and I proclaim...Git thee behind me Satan
Demons cries and flees
Gods children and angels singing
Git thee behind me Satan

I have copies of the bible of many denominations,
along with the many teachings of hinduism and buddhism,
and judaism as well as a copy of the quran,
but I am not at all a theologian or a religious man.
I am not so much a man of faith as I am a man of science,
but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't have any of this literature in my home.
I do find their images to be very beautiful and their poetry very moving.

She was half listening
to a Tibetan male philosopher.

He spoke in timeless wise prose
impressed
by suppressed
Western natural theories of mind.

She heard repressed
Western timely spiritual experiences
of sensual sensory bodies.

He sang lyrically
of cultural vocations
perpetually turned toward enlightenment.

She spoke rationally
of permacultural designs
systemically perpetuating
healthy democratic empowerment.

He thought about natural
multicultural mindfulness
as time's seamless spatial integrity.

She felt sublime

He was half speaking

Premium MemberMy Obsession With Coleridge

Samuel Taylor Coleridge, depressed since his father passed when he was ten.
Friendships with William Wordsworth and Robert Southey off and on again.
Literary critic, philosopher, theologian and poet whom I adore.
Wrote my favorite poem “Kubla Kahn” when he was a depressed poet of twenty-four.
His poetry so lyrically delightful, and supernaturally insightful.
The fact he was an opium addict, to me is simply rather frightful.
Born in 1772, his poetry has had a profound effect on me.
I have loved all of his missives since I was a non-poet of twenty-three.
