Voluptuous Betty Boop
threw men for a loop
always sassy and flirtatious
delightfully curvaceous

Dying Innocence

A young crow carries them-
selves meticulously, screening 
their surroundings. Too wary 
to engage with others, but 
always so observant. 

A golden jewel shines in a
parking lot corner. Tempting 
the young crow’s eyes. Their 
bill clutches on, fragile by
nature, it breaks. 

Glass shards pierces their 
tongue, blood cascades on-
to the concrete as the jewel
dismantles. Remnants of

Tempting

Tempting...

If she leaned forward
just a little more
over her centre
of gravity
seriously...
She might fall
over the edge
of unreasonable doubt... 
And recall laughing 
hilariously... 
At herself.

Tempting But Beating Around the Bush

when things are tempting
are beating around the bush
should always avoid

when minds may wonder
try to find another way
put minds back on track

bad weather on bay
do pray for a better day
God will know the way

when in God believe
His forgiveness will receive
He is always there

when most unified
effective and efficient
right place at right time

would you rather be
hard to believe

Tempting Fate

For those who dare to tempt their fate
Who choose to share their love or hate
How can they bear their peace of mind
If all they care gets left behind

Maybe they sought to get ahead
When many bought the words they said
Till they got caught in all their lies
Was all for naught when all trust dies

But those that

Tempting Glitters

In shadows cast by neon haze, A world unfolds in modern days,
Where screens dictate our hearts' desires, And connections fade amidst the wires.

We chase the rush of fleeting fame, Yet yearn for depths we cannot name,
Lost souls, seeking solace and light, In this modern dance of day and night.

But let us pause, in tender embrace,

''A Love So Hot and Tempting as Rising Dough'' Reprised

A love so hot and tempting as rising dough,
     like fruit, oft' ripens during spring's brief life.
So feed the hunger! Bite the apple. Though
     some will judge you, let it not cause you strife.

tempting seductress smells like lavender
he tries not to notice, but keeps flitting back to her
like a butterfly to a flame,
her enticing beauty intrigues him
she is quintessential.

Tempting Fate

I used to walk carefree around this world, 
My shoulders light and free of any chips
Not thinking fate would ever come unfurled
By nonsense escaping naïve lips

I thought Murphy ’s Law was ludacris
Karma for a mind that over thinks
Superstition existed to dismiss
All part of fate’s anxiety hijinks’

Until it came to my moving day
I lived high up

Tempting Time

Time, O Time!
Rest a while in my arms.
Cannot I waylay you with silken whispers,
sweetened promises, and love irresistible?
Come and drink deeply of my mortal sap.
Let it befuddle your senses and cloud your judgement.
Let it drive you to madness and obsession. 
Let it bring you before me begging and pleading,
for a taste of life and death

It's Tempting

It's tempting to write
     'bout the ills of the day

   So scary the problems
     that court me to say --

   'Til I think on all the good it'll do
     For who will read it but me and you

The Ocean

Essence
Of sapphire waves,
And its saline savor,
Conceal the hidden dangers and 
Allure.

Desert Days

Even now the crows
have chased away
the lemon yellow butterflies

Even now glasses
have been scattered
down the desert

Even now a road trip
on a small island 
is not as Fiona-free
as before anymore

The radio goes on
Volcanic black rests 
at her feet

Trash gets carried away
The rabbit hunters shall
arrive this Sunday

This is the wind
that makes her think straight
This is the day
to choose

I Shall Not Be Complete Nor Will I Be Content

I shall not be complete, nor will I become content.
I will only be complete at the end of my life, 
Which had been given to me to live along with the strife.
