Shadows creep along
sunlight chases them away
moon light unites all
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the moon doesn’t sit still
like an old man.
it rises up and runs
across the sky, chasing
a sun it will never catch.
The Existence Plan.
The moon and sun are eternal lovers who never get to meet.
Once a century the stars align and he and she can be.
Once an eclipse eclipses the world and all the world turns dark,
The light remains with arms around the darkness,
Faithfully she sends her sparks,
Which become fires that light up the faces,
In endless places, she sends her graces,
That bring the warmth of an eternal sunshine.
The cold moonlight engulfs to shower the earth with why’s?
But even the moon cannot claim sadness.
He’s far too happy to see his Goddess,
And even if it is just for one day,
The memory will never fade.
He will forever see her face is the way to truly love,
So he tells the planet, worship her, for good,
Is all that comes from her very being.
Become all seeing and see what he see’s,
For in her he see’s a reason to be.
The Good, The Bad, The Future, The Past.
A Theory of Everything, The Existence Plan,
To meet again in a thousand years.
For love is eternal.
It is foretold.
The Moon and Sun are destined to be.
the sun still rises
the moon also but shyly
following cycles
as certain as my feelings
for you though you notice not
I found a sun down there;
And there was a moon;
They called it that way;
Moon;
There was a sky;
Some bright spots
That shone especially in the night;
I found trees;
Trees couldn’t move;
And then there were other objects
That just like me, moved;
They had limbs
And they moved
From one spot to the other;
As the Moon rises in the east
barely showing its face above the horizon
the Penumbral Eclipse takes form
heralding the full weight of the time
a new Shadow was about to be cast over me.
Dark has cloaked my deeds up until now.
The Blood Moon enchants with its splendour
and ultimately the reflected light from the Sun
is embraced by illuminated corners of my heart—
subdued, as it reflects tentative forgiveness
rewarding me for changing my ways.
I’m set in my ways.
I yearn for unconditional forgiveness
of the ingrained dark corners of my heart—
reflecting my own perception of me.
A Blood Moon stirs fear in the heart
as my darkly disturbing thoughts reveal secrets.
Old shadows are difficult to cast off—
taunted by the recall of lighthearted times.
When the Penumbral Eclipse faded
remorse latched onto the dark side
of the moon on its arc to set in the west.
There I now have stars in mine hair.
Attained cosmic radiance beyond compare.
The light of the stars is now all mine.
Cosmos being shifted by my will so divine.
There I now hold the Suns in my hands.
Providing warmth and light to all my lands.
Photosynthesis one of many original laws,
I am simply a new goddess healing flaws.
There I now have the Moons atop my head.
Shifting the tides and oceans of all people.
Guiding in times of darkness and dread,
As I am purifying nights, purging all evil.
There I now hold the Earth in my arms,
As my prayers for every nation and child
Slowly unfold over time reducing the harms
And someday life will be more mild.
Starlight and moonbeams brighten the night sky
Keeping a guardian watch over the entire world
Yielding only to the sun when he awakens at dawn
The whole Cosmos delights in night dreaming,
Where Sun and Moon entwine in astral projection.
The Cosmos listens to the sky's calling,
Knowing we're part of this great connection.
The forest presents green variety,
For which Moonlight holds great reverence.
Each tree and leaf beckons true piety
As Sunlight shows its high benevolence.
Have you ever felt the Blue Moon's grace,
Or lain beneath the entranced Full Moon?
The sky smiles with Moonlight's magical face,
Shining through the soft trees aligned and tuned.
Healing oneself in nature's vast kingdom
Is to restore the self to wholesomeness.
Day breaks in shadow
A silky grey moonlight fades
In an ocher mist
As the sun sets in the evening sky,
the pretty blue turns pink.
Oh my,
I am pink for the clouds to drink.
The moon must go to bed,
the sun must come out to play.
Marshmallow clouds meet the sun's rays,
I am pink showing off this new day.
ROOTED IN TODAY’S SUNSHINE
(A Haiku Trilogy)
The moon said, “bye sun”;
laid him in his horizon
to wake tomorrow:-
Perpendicular,
I rose between sky and ground;
rooted in sunshine:-
Today has been great,
tomorrow promises more:
yesterday, survived:-
To soul’s discourse when we deal well,
Wounds of heart hitherto heal well.
Let whole world see no good in you,
Clouds once clear, sun-moon reveal well.
Note: Apart from being a Muktak, this could well be the first two couplets of a ghazal.
brilliant is the light of the sun
contrasted with soothing moonlight
opening heart lotus slowly
let our heart’s joy grow byte by byte
we wish to see God but know not
truth of our Self beyond space-time
discard each conditioned belief
simply follow love’s bliss beat chime
ceasing thinking begin feeling
the ebb and flow of sensations
mindfully choosing the higher
uplifting our soul’s vibrations
choose the glow of the lustrous moon
for that is what we can imbibe
though it reflects light of the sun
moonlight has in it the same vibe
choose the path that’s strewn with roses
tread mindfully on Mother Earth
doing nothing we will ascend
bubbling with joy in blissful mirth
less sun, more moon as night time grows
seasons change as all things must
where did time go? Heaven knows
the stars give signs, much to tell us
be still, as nature all around us flows
