for it’s not truly a nut,
but botanically, a drape.
A salinity soaker, the prolific palm,
sultry sea-shore colonizer copious,
it’s sky-searching trunk with spiny leaf crown
holds the fruit, the traditional tropical icon.
In certain societies around the globe,
a notable cultural and religious symbol,
it’s a multipurpose fruit is versatile,
used as food, fuel and folk medicine.
Its tough shell is a strong fortress that guards
the treasure of water and kernel, sweet and pure,
like the tender heart hiding
behind stern persona façade.

( This is Elfchen poem. German Elfchen – Elf "eleven" and -chen as diminutive suffix to indicate diminutive size and endearment) is a short poem with a given pattern. It contains eleven words which are arranged in a specified order over five rows. Each row has a requirement that can vary.
1 . A thought, an object, a colour, a smell or the like
2 . What does the word from the first row do?
3 . Where or how is the word of row 1?
4 . What do you mean?
5 . Conclusion: What results from all this? What is the outcome?
Format: five line 1:2:3:4:1words per line. First line and last line are usually complimentary to each other )
My pools of words are not limited to English.
I was a missionary in France and Belgium, so learned French.
I studied Spanish in college for several years afterwards.
The US Army had me learn Russian during the Cold War,
Then cross-trained me into Serbo-Croatian during the Bosnia/Kosovo Wars.
I spent about 7 years stationed-residing in West Germany and Germany.
Like German, Slavic-derived languages are very root-driven.
The most romantic word I ever heard is "izabranica" (pronounced izabranitsa).
Typical banal English translations do not give the word justice.
Usually it is put forward as an endearment such as 'darling' or 'sweetheart'.
But my favorite Serbo-Croatian word means so much more.
The root of the word is 'bran'; 'braniti' means to select or gather.
The suffix 'ica' is a feminine ending, often used for people.
The prefix 'iza' means "out from". So what does "izabranica' really mean?
Means more than just your one true love; more than just your soulmate...
It means the woman you chose out from among all others, your izabranica.

One day a semi colon met a comma under a bridge. So to speak is to shroud and to silence is to say. State nothing. And there is no saliva in a dust bowl. Stake not a steak. And in a paragraph dance with the suffix. It is imperative to peel prawn correctly when prawn has a capital letter. And dignified digging is done. Great. Draining doing diving dredging dogsleds. And the curvature of a letter b. Wow. Sanctimonious c and a large d frontage. Deepen not the ideological wisdom of a wind in a glass tea cup. Xxxxx vaporisation version. Xxxx clap. Xxxxx geoengineering z
Little lake laughs. It is funny to watch the rafts and boats. Busy. Oh dear. The fishes are rioting because the reeds are being rather domineering and fish like their freedom. Rippling dashes. Striped colours. With banners now. Oh system of flow. It is rather radical to plant a tiger lily in a mountain lake such as I. I gave been here for many days. Years. Moons pass. Interesting it all is. The people alter their robes. It is very comical. It is not for me. I prefer my wardrobe. It moves magically. Flows freely. Does not require adornments or ornaments or make up. It is quite serene. Yet at times my waves pound the shores to the beats from above. The wind deities. And sky channels. Tailor made is not a prefix or a suffix. And I am a channel of great magnitude and depth. Glowing giving giggling glee. Haha I say hahahaha. *** desensitisation z z z z z Z

Desdemona remains still erotic but chaste,
Why is there no change in Othello’s haste?
What if messy Iago one scarf steals?
Is there a dirth of scarves in Malls still?
