TRIUMPH OF FAITH
A testament
A canon
Righteous, austere
Orphic, profane, and pure
When night, a thief
Strips my morality
It Is morning lifts me free
This masquerade of madness
We subtitle life
Where we salt wounds
And bathe in sadness
Scented sweet
This poisoned chalice
Again, I must abstain
I am woman: Request?
I am woman.
What does this mean?
Am I the lesser for it?
Should I stand up
for my Self?
How will I live?
Or die?
Or grow old?
Will I lose my teeth?
Or my muscle mass?
Will I lose my mind?
Perhaps I should lose my anger...
I'm angry at women-
For letting me dumb down.
For impeding my growth.
As a woman.

Doctor Embroil you are wanted at ER
the nurses teary eyed never did once stir
as a child that lay on a gurney, after a sprint incur
mumbled with delirium
SEND IN THE CLOWNS, SEND IN THE CLOWNS
A four year old boy who called everyone one Sir
lay dying at the center though he spoke with a slur
his hearing was intact, though quiet was his purr
father promised me, ...
SEND IN THE CLOWNS, SEND IN THE CLOWNS
His matted curly hair smelled of African rain
his little hands clutched a moment insane
Dr. Embroil put your red nose on, so he craned
I got you boy, ...
SEND IN THE CLOWNS, SEND IN THE CLOWNS
his mom outside a corridor leaning on her cane
begged for a miracle" God take away his pain"
as a finger full of light touched his apterium,
the boy smiled and said,
DON'T BOTHER, HE'S HERE

She was given a book
With the title called
The mysteries of life
The subtitle was call
Make your life easier, but
When she opens the book
And goes through it, all
The pages were blank
The book had special meaning, because
She was given the power
To write her own destiny
A 3 Line Poem With Subtitles and An Explanation
Here is the subtitle part- “Love Hurts” (love it or leave it)
3 Line Poem
Love takes you higher than the sky to heaven
It drops you daintily onto a rainbow fun cloud
Slices you in two to die in the cesspool of truth
Explanation: The author is trying to tell you, the reader, (you know who you are), in oh so many words, that love has its good points and bad points. You know; ups and downs and stuff like that. He does not wish to delve too deeply into this matter because babies and children might be around and after all, it is simply and only a measly 3 line poem. He prays that you understand this fine point and that you are willing to use your own imaginations to draw your final conclusions on this controversial subject, which as always, is a wholesome, good old fashioned fun endeavor, good for the entire family and beyond. Also: This poem should not to be confused with a haiku, which has a 3 line structure and a 5-7-5 meter count or measure. Enjoy or destroy is our motto of the day.
(Lesley Ann Down was an actress in
the Golden Age of live TV drama.)
We live in an age of midgets.
There are no seers now, only lookers,
no values left, apart from digits.
Cash is the hook, and we’re all hookers,
no Carmen Joneses, only Bridgets.
Did you have to learn the equation
(“have to”? – what an odd suggestion!)
which represents acceleration?
It’s printed now, beside the question.
No gravity, just gravitation.
Subtitle writers, now, can’t spell,
and language teachers know no grammar.
When banks are hiring tellers, well,
in Alabaster, Alabama,
they sing aloud, “You Never Can Tell”.
Let’s get somewhat more sarcastic.
Our carpenters just never get wood.
Today our craftsmen just squirt mastic,
then, as any moron could,
they clip on bits of precut plastic.
We’ve got police (I like this best!)
who, far from being Texas Rangers,
have never passed exams or tests,
and can’t, by law, face any dangers,
or run rash risks, like make arrests.
No Richard Rodgers, Buddy Holly,
no more Stoller (as in Lieber),
but ‘tis the season to be jolly –
after all, there’s Justin Bieber!
Hence, loathéd melancholy!
Dear Grandmother (subtitle)
This poem is for you, dear Grandmother, whom I love with all my heart. I loved you when we were together, and even more when we were apart. I never had the chance to tell you, just how you inspired me. You were loved by everyone you met, and never cowardly. If I could be half the woman you were in your lifetime, I would consider it an honor to be able to walk that perfect line. So talented in everything you did. You held your head up high. That's how we know that you're in Heaven, dancing in the sky. Your children and grandchildren, have peace in our hearts. Because we understand, dear grandmother, this is the best part. When the golden gates of heaven opened, there your husband stood. He's waited many years for you to come, because he knew you would. As he takes your hand and spins you around, your spirits become young again. Then you see your sister as well, dancing like the wind. Everyone is here now, that you have loved and lost before. We know that you are happy now and that you will hurt no more. So, goodbye to your mind and body. Your spirit is set free. I will see your face again one day, when those gates are opened for me.
( Subtitle : Let the road end, let love linger )
Grapes and grandeur in the pink sun
We shared for our pleasure
The frost and fervor that we spun
Looked beyond erasure
Love and hate are too much ingrained
I know, in our apples
As the maples dropped off in pain
Paled the passion purple
How come our bubbles got so sick
Was our love just a lust
Or else how the wall grew so quick
Billowing mean distrust
Okay, let the wedded road end
Let us remain just friends
You go your way and me mine bend
With shared rains in our veins
Time releases both stink and scent
Dahlias we did love
Will wear off too the discontent
Clouds of love float above

Oh no,
Ken messed up the audio,
This will instill rage into an introverted bro,
I'm serving purpose by not flipping furniture for show,
This show is worthless,
I'm perturbed,
Let's just play Pokemon Go!
I think mic's are magic cuz of my lack of understanding,
Working with a two bit hack devoid of tact is so demanding,
No idea what he's doing,
Losing views to this bad acting,
Audacity must be to complex to be influenced by his actions,
This punks no professional,
So we gon subtitle this transgressional,
It's not a bad reaction to say,
Ken messed up the audio!
Get Krekelered,
Bent with perceptive reflexes,
Removing hexes placed on fairer sexes,
Emotional caresses of feelings protected,
Burn ya to learn ya empathetic lessons,
No stop in sight to these sessions,
Endless supply of indiscretions,
Ripe to analyze with contrite reflections,
These vibes they vibe within prismatic prisms,
Exorcise your demons to exercise livin'.
Taenia Saginata – oh isn't that a pretty name
If you find one in your burger it sure would be a shame
Roundworms, flatworms and flukes can be found in beef, pork or fish
Wouldn’t it be disgusting if you found one in your dish!
Meat and fish need thorough cooking to kill these nasty beasts
Then you are safe to eat and enjoy your fish or meaty treats
I’m studying for a food safety qualification for work – this is one of the little gems I have been reading about!

subtitle: The Wonder of Unspoiled Beauty
Deep in the cone, function unknown,
wee kernels stand by on their throne.
A life spent with me - lodge pole pine.
Blistering heat – preordained sign,
nudges my embryos who groan.
Resin melting, fire whistle blown!
My seeds now burst forth, as if thrown,
bidding goodbye to former shrine
deep in the cone.
Years passed before purpose was shown;
suddenly these kernels are sown.
Flames will consume me by design
but soil welcomes my seeds to shine.
They'll sprout soon, a dream of my own
deep in the cone.

Maverick's wheel:
If it's unfair, we must repair
because we care -
the rule of thumb.
for Len Zakim.
Maverick's zeal:
Engaging souls was Lenny's hope
of broadest scope.
He blazed new tracks
for Jews and blacks.
Maverick's feel:
Bridge builder - linking mind and heart
faith to impart.
End bigotry,
birth empathy.
Maverick's seal:
Named a Knight of St. Gregory
Diversity -
color of skin
finds worth within.
Maverick's deal:
The Jewish Defamation League
became intrigued
with freedom's plea
and harmony.
Maverick's steel:
Cancer worked to shatter his world.
Hope still unfurled -
Len instantly
sought therapy.

Author's Notes: I tweaked the minute poem form by adding a
subtitle line atop each stanza. These subtitles all rhyme with
each other revealing characteristic fervor of this maverick.
With all the pomp and viscosity
The spectres flooding out a sepia
Screen of childish scribbles
Bleached into the paintwork
Autograph collections full of
Unknown people who achieve
Little seldom of and incomplete
Thereof from another Kings' Cross
Day passes with slurry flood
A thick crude oil slick settling
On the fester where love is love
But life always gets cat called trapped
Between a rockery and a conservatory
Greenhouse blossom stuck
Never growing, wilting into
Shoes and stirrups, the Valkyrie
Tide of blonde candlesticks burning
An empathetic subtitle in the
Bunting of promenade pretence
The man child turns to jump
Into canvas blues of money under pillow
