Stunning silence

And again, - There is silence between us,
like a long sleep, like a
quiet night,

Again, - There is silence between us,
like a shadow
dancing
among
the stones, - a forgotten echo,

Silence hangs between us,
like fog in the morning,
like a bird without a flight,
between us, the air wanders like a hero,

Memories remained,
Remained,
Remained for the rain, for the lost
steps
along the alleys,

red palms, white sun
leaves are religiously green

red is raw
the canvas soaked

is it fire, blood
or passion

the sun vertiginous
lava alive

romantic sun experience
soaking up cataclysmic rays

raise the temperature
hang onto the assorted bark

it’s tropically airy
sip its burst of twilight

trio of trees purple-cling
as if plum vines 
             

Stunning Spring Time

Spring
is here!
Little lambs
are gambolling
in verdant pastures.
Soon the white woolly ewes
let hungry offspring suckle.
I smile as the lamb's tails waggle
as they guzzle the nutritious milk
whilst the ever patient ewes munch fresh grass.
Golden daffodils and pretty tulips
add colour after dull winter days.
Striped bumble bees collect pollen
beautiful butterflies dance
in the warmth of the sun
Mother Nature gifts
the whole planet.

Three rivers meet here in ecstasy
five thousand feet above sea level
guarded by range of mountains and hills
where tea, coffee, rose, cardamom breeze
stupefies air, mist completes the drink.
With bated breath all that breathe just wait

Always hear hollering hellhounds, yet nothing close, nobody home,
Paranoia, psychosis, schizophrenia, ponder lacked lucidity, pleaching, poohing...
Haggard horrors haunt house vapid vacuous voices vision vortex

Write Something

I put my pen to paper, what should I say
Maybe comment on the brilliant sunshine coming my way
Or perhaps about life's opportunities would be a good place to start
I could write about the love I feel in my heart
I should make a list of things that are important to me
Or describe the blooming flowers so

Dinner Cruise

It's a beautiful evening as we wait in line to board our boat
Autumn is in the air we require a light coat
The Mississippi River waters rejoice in the glowing moonlight
We are greeted by the captain encouraging us to kick back and enjoy the night
Once aboard a flight of stairs, we must climb with a three-course

Attraction

Looking across the room our eyes make contact 
A stunning lady it’s time to react
I leave my chair to walk across the room 
As I draw closer the air fills with sweet perfume 
The band on stage begins to play 
A dance with her would surely make my day 
Out of her chair, she springs

The Portrait

The brush dances across the canvas
I must create an image in a true goddess-like status
A stunning portrait of the one I love 
Above her will be a flock of doves
Finishing the face those beautiful brown eyes seem to stare back
That vision enlightens me to keep me on track 
The vibrant colors reflect back on me

hand brushes the labent hues,
shades of gold unfold.

soft hues of blue hint,
a blush painting dawn's canvas,
cobalt night beckons.

naked moon rises,
gold arias serenade
veils of lacy light,

night light for lovers.
teasing swelling tides of love,
dawn's blond  symphony

Stunning Springtime

Bright butterflies love warm weather
They sometimes settle on beautiful blooms
Tall tulips, pretty pansies,
Lush lilacs, see vibrant visitors.
Little lambs drink mum’s milk
Then gambol gaily on green grass
Flora, fauna of scenic spring
