Jeff Albrecht is an artist with Park West. This particular piece of art, to Jeff, is 100 percent happy. I have taken liberties with my poem. Artwork is not shown. You can look up the artist through Park West. I had the honor to meet this very nice and interesting person.

red palms, white sun
leaves are religiously green

red is raw
the canvas soaked

is it fire, blood
or passion

the sun vertiginous
lava alive

romantic sun experience
soaking up cataclysmic rays

raise the temperature
hang onto the assorted bark

it’s tropically airy
sip its burst of twilight

trio of trees purple-cling
as if plum vines
                            h
                          e
                         l
                        d

them together, fearsomely
to
   let
       go

is to disappear
into the atmosphere
