Premium MemberDear Stevie

Playing with the keys of life,
in spirit to the soul.
Your Jesus Children's story
will never grow old.

Grace to the world,
your musical gifts.
A miracle anointing
from blind eyes and sweet lips.

Thanks for the gems
so, pleasing to enjoy.
"My Cherie Amour"
Talented young boy!

The rhythm, the flow,
poetic verses true.
The Wonder of wonders,
Dear Stevie, that's you.

You know when someone says I love you 'As' the sun? ~ it means that you're always loved—poetess "As" by Stevie Wonder

I Choose Love
I believe in a true Love so true and real
By embracing all and then Love always
If we change words into truth then
Into Love so that maybe
Our children and grand
Children and their
Grand children
Tell that I'll
be Lovin
You

Premium MemberOooo Man, Stevie Wonder, Yea, Yea

Ooo man, gotta love him,
And I do, do, do,
Stevie Wonder, what a talent,
Man, I'm tellin' you.

What a genius,
What a giant,
Makes a body dance,
Never more defiant.

When I was fifteen,
He turned me on for good,
"Boogie On Reggae Woman",
Man, I wish you would.

Boogie, boogie, boogie,
Reggae woman move me,
Movin', movin', movin',
Now and endlessly.

What a song,
What a voice,
What a reggae beat,
What an easy choice.

Ooo Man, Stevie is the one,
Love to hear that groove,
Boogie On Reggae Woman,
What a way to move.

Premium MemberStevie the Wonder

The birth of an indomitable only instigates forces to envy
he comes to the world complete but flawed by a blonder
the journey will be long, his sail will be wavy
but his glue to success, he's letting no asunder
obstacles only makes the climbing more classy by the Ivy
the thorns are overcomed to reach beyond and yonder.

A car crash of the 70s and his fate is inflicted with scurvy
possessing the billboard's apex, that's his first rejoinder
three consecutive albums of the year, this is not a movie
even with sight depleted, he's a 25-time commander
his "happy birthday" song that makes a sadist groovy
lets martin the junior-king grateful and honoured from under.

Accolades and trophies make the cabinet full and heavy
rock and roll, rhythm and blues, his prowess is on the calendar
who said disability is a hindrance not to make one savvy?
Those who ultimately lose are the ones who surrender
now an epitome of peace and freedom, that's our beloved Stevie
achieving against all odds to make the people always wonder.

   Blindness never stopped legendary musician, Stevie Wonder;
Made his presence felt in the 70's like rumbling thunder
Recorded hit song "Isn't she lovely?" about baby daughter.
His half-a-century or so career couldn't be any hotter.

"Limerick - Syllables 12,12,8,8,12" ~By Poet~

Stevie Wonder.
Blinded after birth by a hospital blunder.
At three he played music with pots and pans.
Self taught piano, at nine he played to young fans.

Stevie Wonder decided to bet Tiger Woods
To play golf at a golf club in their neighborhoods
Tiger, he chose where they would play.
Stevie would choose the time of day.
Stevie chose midnight. He won and went home with the goods.

At 13 he was the youngest solo artist ever to top the charts.
Being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, warmed hearts.
He won a Grammy for "That's What Friends Are For"
Stevie Wonder, an incredible performer has fans galore.

Stevie, Earth Angel

You were born blind
Eyes that could not see the beauty
Of your own sweet smile
Yet you saw beauty
in the people who loved you
 and discerned every intention.

You were born with Cerebral Palsy
You could not speak a word
Could not convey
 the kindnesses you thought
Yet you spoke love and trust so loudly
to those who took time to hear you.
The nonsense sounds and utterings
Became sweet music
your family understood.
"I do too Ceeka"
"I love you too Stevie."

Your fragile body, withered and broken,
 was unable to move freely...
unable to walk or dance
to the music you held so dear.

Yet in my dreams
 you walk to me,
You dance to
majestic angel songs.

I am blessed to have known
your innocent soul...
but heaven is where
you have always belonged.

Premium MemberStevie Learns the World Ways

Stevie told the truth because he was four
He did not know anything of deception or lies
His sister Monique was embarrassed,
she had said something mean about her friend
which Stevie had innocently repeated
Monique called Stevie a liar, and punished him
In front of her friend, retaining a friendship
But losing her little brother’s trust forever
Showing Stevie what lack of integrity looks like
His first taste of unkindness and unfairness

Stevie Smith Reflections

Memory has got deeper,
lake deep.

There’s a person yoyoing around in the water –
it’s a younger image of me.

I’m standing on the shore
trying to get his attention.

He rises to the surface:
"What you doing old guy"? He asks.

'I’m trying to save you'!

He smirks, swimming on serenely
toward this moment.

Superstition Stevie Wonder

Heard this song over a 1000 times

But for the first time
I just actually listened to the Lyrics

Of Stevie Wonder's

Superstition

And paraphrasing
it goes a little something like this

If you believe in things you don't understand

You Will Suffer

?????????????

Great guitarists talents last a whole life long
But that's not sufficient to describe Stevie Ray Vaughan
In my estimation
No other generation
Produced such a talented guitarist, too early he's gone

Stevie

I am a huge Stevie Nicks fan, this is a little tribute...

She is dancing in the moonlight
on the edge of the crystal waters
for the light is bright that shines upon her face
her eyes light up like a burning flame
and her hair blows freely with the spirit of the wind
she starts to sing, her voice as soft as velvet
so graceful she truly is a star
 wearing boots lace & feathers,
 she is an enchanting poet,
so much beauty her story telling will leave you spell bound
she is edgy wicked & eccentric she is the ever so lovely & gracious
 Miss Stevie Nicks..

Stevie

“Stevie”

“Stevie” II is my son-in-law.
Totally committed to his family.
Exceptionally brave award-winning fireman.
Very successfully, “Stevie” II hunts and fishes.
Industriously plans and lives his life.
Endlessly strives toward his goals.
