Stevie Wonder

"Limerick - Syllables 12,12,8,8,12" ~By Poet~

Stevie Wonder.
Blinded after birth by a hospital blunder.
At three he played music with pots and pans.
Self taught piano, at nine he played to young fans.

Stevie Wonder decided to bet Tiger Woods
To play golf at a golf club in their neighborhoods
Tiger, he chose where they would play.
Stevie would choose the time of day.
Stevie chose midnight. He won and went home with the goods.

At 13 he was the youngest solo artist ever to top the charts.
Being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, warmed hearts.
He won a Grammy for "That's What Friends Are For"
Stevie Wonder, an incredible performer has fans galore.

Oh, get me started on Stevie Wonder, SV. Stevie lost his vision mere hours after birth, given too much oxygen, that caused permanent sight loss. Too little or too much oxygen is bad. It proves that our consciousness is not our brain btw. My fav song of his is "As" I did a Yalto trib to that song. Make sure you crank it. "Choose Love" 12.15.22 You are loved by somebody....Great limericks! ~you are missed

I really like the musician you chose and the great way you did your three poems. I have one ready to post but waiting to post a little later!

Hi Andrea, thanks a million for your comment. I often wondered is there a strategy in when you place your entry to contests? I usually post early, sometimes I am the first.... is it better wait as you are doing ? I appreciate the advice you have given me in the past my friend. Keep smiling. :)

I read that joke somewhere about Little Richard and Tiger, Jay and it fitted perfectly with this Clerihew requirement to be written as a limerick. Thanks for commenting. :)
