Premium MemberThe Seed

A tiny seed, planted in the muddy ground.
With plentiful sunshine and sparkling water, it grew.
A deep brown trunk, tall and round,
Reaching up to the sky, so bright and blue.

Lots of thick branches it had,
And twinkling green leaves that danced in the breeze.
The tree provided cool, refreshing shade to the lad,
And a safe home for the birds, squirrels, and bees.

A special secret in this tiny, little seed.
Springtime meant dainty flowers of pink and white.
These beautiful flowers blossomed with speed,
And from that seed came apples, red, delicious, and bright.

Premium MemberGreeting The Sun Struck Day

Greeting the sun struck day.
Now Unfolding myself,
Stretching out the creases,
Winking, blinking tired eyes.
Brain fog slowly ceases.

Greeting the sun struck day.
Exuberance sets in.
There, for what lies ahead.
Plan a course of action.
Decide which road to tread.

Greeting the sun struck day.
Should I take the high road,
Where fragrant plumage grows,
Or is the low road best,
Where sparkling water flows?

Greeting the sun struck day.
 A road that leads nowhere,
Is quite another choice,
As to the track I take.
Up to my inner voice.

Premium MemberI Refuse to Teach Macbeth When It's Forty Degrees Outside

King Duncan wouldn't allow it
Chin sweat and air conditioning
Sending me into a linguistic shaming spiral

Flavoursome mints and sparkling water
Won't fix this wet nightmare
Telling the steps to SHUT UP

Sock sniffer
Chemical bomb leather shoes
Armpits oceaning

Give me Nigeria
Or the jungle
Where the birds don't sing

My wife has been reading The Return of the Native for ten years
But does owning an AK-47 count as knowledge?

To the bat cave

Premium MemberDesign Of Dream

The slim streams in scorching summer silently flow,
the water carries the crystal shine of melted snow.
On the banks quiver the shadows of tree row,
shaken by the hot air swirling upward slow.

The spent sun setting with the twilight glow,
paints on river lively pattern of colorful show.
With the chronicles of the picturesque plateau,
as the gliding gift to store in the waiting sea it’ll go.

In moonlit night the flair of stardust spreads low,
shimmer on the sparkling water rippling with gusto.
The sequins sketch on your face resplendent rainbow,
framing in my fervent firmament a tempting tableau.

Have I seen her, the wind whispers as I hear it blow,
my heart has designed a dream of her a long time ago.

Own

The life that we live we think we can choose.
Characteristics, free-will we think we can use.
It's all predetermined, no matter our choices.
For we always succumb to those inner voices.

Believe what you like, it's comfortably fine.
For me it's a good book, a sparkling water with lime.
I watch you come and then I watch you go.
I know more than you think, it's a magical show.

Everything is transient, both people and faces.
We imagine that the home is in familiar places.
The truth is that, that can all be gone in the blink of an eye.
Which is why I'm relaxed with myself, me and I.

Had my fill of rudeness, bullies, dictators.
Not interested, bored, see you later.
Believe that you know much more than can be known.
For me I'm happy, content, at peace on my own.

Premium MemberA Tea Infused With Love

Rose petals for a broken heart

A sense of peace do they impart

My sweetheart gave a gift to me

                                    Of lavender, rose petal tea

                                       A bottle of essential oil

                                 Organic rose for hearts turmoil

A gift of roses from my daughter

                               Rose petal-infused sparkling water

My grateful thanks to heaven above

I sip my tea infused with love

The Droplet

TODAY I SAW MY LADY DRESSED IN A YELLOW GOWN,
YET NOTICED THE SPARKLING WATER DROP ROLLING DOWN,
PLACED ON HER HEAD LIKE QUEEN'S CROWN,
GLIDING OVER HER DREAMY EYES,
LETTING MY EMOTIONS ARISE,
SQUIDING OVER HER INNOCENT NOSE,
FRESHENING HER UP LIKE A BLOOMING ROSE,
KISSING HER LIPS,
DOWN THE CURVY NECK IT DIPS,
TOUCHING HER HEART MY SECOND HOME,
GENTLY ENDING ITS JOURNEY IN HER BELLYBOTTOM,
SAW MY LIFE IN THE WATER DROPLET,
STARTED FROM HER BUT CONTINUING AS OUR FATE,
I AGAIN DECLARE "I LOVE YOU MY SOULMATE".

Alone

I met my Aloneness. It found me.
It moved into me, and I embraced it in an empty room.
In that moment I became full, a clear glass of sparkling water.
The sun and the moon were in that water, and the light of the stars.
I knew then that I was beautiful,
for all the light that ever was or ever will be
knew that it was Alone; a complete comprehension
that we vessels were created
to be these containers for Aloneness.
Since then I have been Alone in a crowded room,
I am defeated by my own grandeur,
and there is no we.

Yoga By the Ocean

Poses and stretches
like the dolphins pose
are being done by the waters edge

I look into the sparkling water
and see the shadow of my reflection
in the bright and shining sunlight

and all around is nature
evergreen trees are in the distance
waving their strong branches in the wind as if to say hello

shells and rocks are scattered all over the vast and empty coastline which in my
imagination could be
money that fell out of a passerby's pocket

calm is how I feel
just like I am in a meditative state or maybe I am in some sort of trance

I hear noises in the bushes. maybe a bear or maybe a child's footsteps but still I
continue to do yoga poses out in nature
where I feel one with the land

Premium MemberInside My Stein

A stein filled with sparkling water
It is Pineapple Sparkling water
I enjoy Pineapple sparkling water
Poured cold into my stein
Sipping it with a meal
Then the stein put aside
On the counter by dirty dishes
The stein was empty out
Without thought until it was done
A good laugh was heard
Then poured another drink
My stein is also used for beer

Premium MemberShimmering Waters

The shimmering water so divine, the Moon has to take a closer look,
Oozes down into the bowels of the atmosphere, it’s not a brook!
It is a canal of sorts, with a beautifully built gothic surreal bridge.
The sparkling water warms Moon’s heart more than a smidge.

The silence of the night hangs forever in the evening air.
Moon feels a warm, loving spirituality from here to there.
I feel your presence, she says to angels who are no longer high.
They laugh. Their soft sweet titters warming the heart of this guy.

It is so gorgeous, is it not? One asks the enthralled, raptured Moon.
He has no words. This is the prettiest evening. It makes him swoon.
What makes this night so magical? He asks his spiritual guests.
We are not sure, but it is like this often when the humans rest.

There is a mystical feeling that warms the Moon to his toes.
He cannot describe the ethereal love, but it is something he knows.
While the world is slumbering, and even the dogs and cats sleep.
He enjoys the depths of this feeling, as he peers into the deep.

Ballerina Statues

Written for Matgorzata Chodakowka’s Sculptures

Of the three
Bronze statues
Elfin like ballerinas
Rise

Elegantly poised
Atop tip toes
Ribbon tied pointe slippers
Adorn dainty feet

Bronzed skin
Gently stroked
By the sun
Glistens

While perfectly placed
Fountains
Spill sparkling water
From minute midriffs

Exquisite arches
Therein fashion
Gossamer
Ruffled tutus

Gowns of water
Cascading
Full length
Caress the ground

An ethereal mist
Created such
Visible hence
A tangle of sculpted legs

Gracefully mesmerising
Pleats of water enthrall
Illusioning a fairy tale
Beguiling all
