The Seed

A tiny seed, planted in the muddy ground.
With plentiful sunshine and sparkling water, it grew.
A deep brown trunk, tall and round,
Reaching up to the sky, so bright and blue.

Lots of thick branches it had,
And twinkling green leaves that danced in the breeze.
The tree provided cool, refreshing shade to the lad,
And a safe home for the birds, squirrels, and bees.

A special secret in this tiny, little seed.
Springtime meant dainty flowers of pink and white.
These beautiful flowers blossomed with speed,
And from that seed came apples, red, delicious, and bright.
