A Tea Infused With Love

Rose petals for a broken heart

                                A sense of peace do they impart

                                My sweetheart gave a gift to me

                                    Of lavender, rose petal tea

                                       A bottle of essential oil

                                 Organic rose for hearts turmoil

                                A gift of roses from my daughter

                               Rose petal-infused sparkling water

                              My grateful thanks to heaven above

                                  I sip my tea infused with love

It really is a gentle tea, the properties of rose petals have long been thought to help with a broken heart, and it is so gentle :) I wouldn't want to use roses for tea from a normal bouquet from the grocery store because they wouldn't be organic, the pesticides would be harmful. For organic petals, here is a recipe for your cup of tea :) 1 tsp. of dried rose petals in an 8 oz mug of hot water. Let it set for about nine or ten minutes, and sweeten it with love, or honey :) Honestly, love is sweeter than honey <3 Enjoy your tea my sweet friend! <3

I feel so blessed by the love my husband and children have lavished on me through this sad time of loss. I read online that rose petals are an ancient medicinal botanical which can actually relieve a broken heart, and I find it has eased my heartache. Of course, the love and compassion shown to me through my husband and my children, have infused a more powerful healing touch through these beautiful and powerful botanical gifts <3 I am so grateful to them, and to God for blessing me so very much.
