If I had a friend, I would snuggle him all night.
So saying, my grandson Fred turned out the light.
I brought in a beagle puppy and put him in the bed.
Not one likes snuggling more than my grandson Fred.
The puppy loves a snuggle, so they are a happy two.
If you want to get in on the action, we’ll have a group hug too.
There is never enough love to go around but this is a start.
A snuggle with a warm puppy will gladden up anybody’s heart.

“I saw it! I saw it!”, the groundhog announced.
“My shadow – it grew and it flounced!
Run! Hide! Save yourself and those you love
and leave the cold to the ground above!
Six more weeks of huddling and cuddling.
Here’s to the wonderful warmth of snuggling!"

I awaken to the pitchy darkness covering my face
and I roll over to dig through the nightless dark.
I peep out hoping to find the warm sun; I sigh
and scurry back to the warmth of my bed
amongst the nuts and seeds we stored
and snuggle with brother and sister.
Tomorrow, I will try again.
I know it will come.
Just not when.

Wrapped up in a blanket, bliss
Scented woman, loveliness
Surrounds the songbird with his love
Strokes her face with fingerless glove
Moves the hair out from her eyes
Eskimo kisses in disguise
Lips inviting, slightly part
His meet hers, she's got his heart

Blast the doors open to its crackling light
And wrap my heart over all of its fury
I snuggle up to the storm raging night
Roaring black skies screaming down, my delight
Desert monsoon quivering all blurry
With all of my might, I squeeze its soul tight
Spun out of control and not at all right
My kindred spirit, have not I a worry
I snuggle up to the storm raging night
Tearing away turning love into fright
Desperate minds churn up in its flurry
With all of my might, I squeeze its soul tight
It howls obscenities wanting to fight
Cemetery ghosts, like blown leaves scurry
I snuggle up to the storm raging night
Pretending a peaceful end to life's plight
I won't be false and from madness hurry
I snuggle up to the storm raging night
With all of my might I squeeze its soul tight

New yellow striped tabby was wooed by the crowd.
They were mysterious to him, scary and loud.
They invited him to come have kibble bites and tea.
He asked his mama “Why do they all want me?”
You are a new guy to the neighbors the mother said.
Take it as a compliment but don’t let it go to your head.
But I want to stay here and snuggle with you Mommy.
She loved that too; it was comfy as anything could be.
New yellow striped tabby sent back a couple of accepts.
He had tea and kibble bites, and donut holes full of sardine flecks.
This is fine and dandy he told his Mama Dear.
But in truth, the best thing of all is to stay and snuggle here.

Under snow white sheets disarray
Snuggle Bunnies romp and play
Acrobatic twists and turns
Softly thumping bodies burn
As lustful fire starts to grow
Sweat moist bodies start to glow
And loving voices begin to switch
To lust filled groans of fevered pitch
Entwined in wanton ecstacy
Of Snuggle Bunny fantasies

there is a certain blindness...
that hides in plain sight...
between the things seen...
and behind the darkest night...
evolution means...not all seeing...
blindspots of an imperfect manifestation...
they are all around us...
people average thirty percent observation...
their brain supplies the rest...
seventy percent on subjective memory...
thirty percent on objective truth...
enter insight...beginning what's real...
common sense and social empathy...
see your self as inward...
steps on the tai chi...
blown sand

Snuggle Bear
Snuggle Bear
Oh Snuggle Bear,
Oh Snuggle Bear,
Wrap me up in your arms,
Shower me with a thousand kisses,
Keep me safe from harm,
Oh Snuggle Bear,
Oh Snuggle Bear,
The love of my life,
I want to have your pretty day baby,
And one day be your wife,
Oh Snuggle Bear,
Oh Snuggle Bear,
I miss you so much,
I'll go crazy if I have to go on one more day,
Without feeling your romantic touch,
Oh Snuggle Bear,
Oh Snuggle Bear,
Come home to me soon,
I am lonely sweetheart,
And I love you.

We searched for each other – it turned out in vain.
We lived, loved not very often, we laughted and we struggled.
We promised to walk miles. We did in the rain.
But instead of a soulmate in bed I have cats that snuggle.

In this nasty weather
birds of a feather
all snuggle together.

I had come up with this poem late last night and wanted to get it penned today, so I wouldn't forget about it.

Stealing a kiss in front of your friends,
ignites that twinkle within your eyes.
And fueled by your sensual smile,
desire assures passion never dies.
You possess exceptional beauty,
rivaling that of the rising sun.
Should clouds gather and teardrops plummet,
we snuggle close till the storm is done.
You're my inspiration and my muse;
the guardian angel of my heart.
You mean more to me than life itself;
and always have from the very start.
Two souls made one, eternally joined
within the fabric of time and space.
And it feels like I'm in paradise;
each time I see your angelic face.

Saturday morning dawns bleak and gray,
Storms pushing through promise a dreary day.
But rainy days aren't a reason for gloom.
If you're with your honey, something special can bloom.
Rainy day weather is time for some snuggling,
Hugging, kissing, canoodling, and cuddling.
Turn off your phones and TVs, lock your doors,
Grab your honey - need I say more?
