Forest is life

As the nights draw colder
The deep night sets in sooner
A fresh layer of snow
The air turns sharp and crisp
The layers of the forest react
The canopy appears as skin
The trunks as bones and the earth as organs
A living breathing soul
A snow flurry freezing every surface
As the layers of earth struggle to survive
The deep frost clings to every organism
Icicles stick to every branch
Owls echo across the expanse
The crunch of snow under every step
Like the quiet heartbeat of the forest

Snowglobe Memories - Mystic

Snow flurry
Furious hurry
Battering against my skin
It’s artificial
Shavings off something real
The cold would have been less cutting

Whirling soundless wind
I’m upside down
With no direction within grasp
Until I’m allowed to fall down again
Nobody to stop the descent

The settling never lasts long before
An invisible hand, cruel or indifferent,
Shakes and shakes and shakes
Upheaval
Nothing to cling to
Just swirling, purposeless

Three things to see, when I don’t focus on me:
Others caught in the cacophony
Beyond a veil of thick glass, lights twinkling dimly
In the dead centre of the violence, a baby.

Small, a fixed point in it all
Promises and secrets plainly hidden
Steady face, symbol held in place
Though naughty hands tried to break him
So let it snow!
Let it all go.
I am dancing
Knowing nothing
Discovering Everything
Receiving that which is never shaken

Dark Angel

I honestly don’t know what tomorrow brings
But for today I will enjoy the peace in my life
As I watch the quiet snow flurry outside my window
I know the love I feel inside is broken
The joy that I used to know with you has been driven away
So fiercely I want to find the way back to my inner soul
Where the birds would sing the sweetest songs
The sound of the Ocean would soothe my mind
And the greenest grass will feel invigorating beneath my toes

A dark angel with her wings of thorns
Grabbed hold of you and robbed you of your passion
Until she hurled you helplessly to the cold, frigid ground
She pierced your soul and took everything
You held so dearly
Including me

Now I am willing to open the door once again
And give you all the opportunities to start from the beginning
I may feel abused, and severely bruised
But I am not to be taken lightly
This is heavier than anything I have ever endured
With all my being I ask for an abundance of positive light
May that dark angel crash to the ground
And the darkness that surrounds her disappear into the abyss

Just breathe my love
We’ve got this

Worry, worry, worry
    rush hour's snow flurry

  Blurry, blurry, blurry
    windshield's already slurry

  Hurry, hurry, hurry
home, so the car's not buried

  Scurry, scurry, scurry
    'undercover' with s/t furry

Weird Stuff

A winter sun doodles dandy-long legs shadows
over my eyelids.
Closed eyes from the glare, now
an insectivore brush of fine shadow hairs.
Knuckles rub eyeballs until they water.

Sunlight jumps into the day again
plays 'hide and seek' around passing clouds.
A patchy sky dumps a snow flurry
down the back of coat.
Squirm, wet spine, squirm.
Do a little dance with tingling toes.

"A daddy-long-legs is not a spider,
though it is an arachnid
related to the scorpion family."

Later on, mind winces upon reading this.
Sun shadows akin to scorpions,
not a thought to play with
when your back is still damp
and cringing.

Galloping Denturn Poetry - Falling Snow

Falling snow, beauty belies its hidden dangers!
White-veiled mountains can be a threat to all below,
But on the day the inviting piste, it's splendours!
Skiers, see the sparkle in their eyes, they love the snow!

They jump from mounds, landing in a great snow flurry!
Slamon round the mounds, snow flying, friends cheer them on!
Then there's tobogganers, always in a hurry!
Snowboarders, somersaulting, an exhibition!

Dusk, the piste brilliantly lit, skiers enchanted.
They no longer ski alone, shadowed company.
Downhill runs ending with a party, some canted
Party ending all happy, no one got frumpy!

Next day, goodbyes all done and dusted, flying home.
Still, snowing flight cancelled, oh well no one complained.
Sadly the snow, heavy, piste closed, hear them all moan!
The next day, avalanches and worse for them rained!

Premium Member Harvest Moon

The harvest moon rises so bright
Through the deep darkness it does shine
Like an orange ball in the night
Evolving with wishes of mine

Through the deep darkness it does shine
Chasing away any worry
Evolving with wishes of mine
With fall dreams before snow flurry

Chasing away any worry
The golden globe does lead the way
With fall dreams before snow flurry
Friendship strengthens into the day

The golden globe does lead the way
Life is shining just like the moon
Friendship strengthens into the day
It leads the way to colors soon

Life is shining just like the moon
Like an orange ball in the night
It leads the way to colors soon
The harvest moon rises so bright

The storm gathers strength
air increasing its wavelength
clouds rush as past they scurry
the cold creates a snow flurry

the winds fight as they battle
cold against warm they rattle
out to sea the waves gigantic
as they rush across the Atlantic

building up into a hurricane
tossing like balsam the plane
the waves below broiling
for war they are spoiling

the ocean their playground
eerie, the lights and sound
of the clashing clouds
bodies will fill the shrouds

before the peace returns
until then the world burns
as nature's anger subsides
and the souls peace abides

Powerful Than Blood Bond

Have you ever seen a talking Lunar Moon
Wrapped in a sarcenet heart-gold cocoon
Floating in the night sky like a balloon
Breathing the fire like the dance of typhoon?

She is...
An Angel mizzled from Heaven with snow flurry !
An isolated crimson rose that typify axenic glory !
An elegant ruby-red macaw mantled in alluring jewellery !
An olive sunrise in midnight that wreaks luxury !
An epic living legend that trembles the mystery !

Despite the blood that failed to bind this relation
and the religion that blasting a firm objection
She is my sister and thats my final decision
and I can't express this relation with diction

Monsoon Carols

Melded with raindrops -
the juiceless earth fruited lusciously
and the roaring lightning pops -
the vehement clouds sparked abundantly.

From time of summer -
for the juvenility they long expected
over the awash field they bopped over -
alike the sweetness of wintry roses, the zestful aroma contrasted.

Here and there the lively music got wind of bongs -
when the rain waved by the wind so heavily
the splashy whispery voice sung like yuletide carols -
with roasted chicken along with champagne, savored blithely.

All of a sudden the sun peeped out in between,
reckoned alike to chance once upon the Kris-Kringle's camion
Over the sky it arced with orange violet yellow blue red indigo green,
glowed as if presents wrapped along with gleeful horizon.

The sky that outraged fell out the factual consequences,
Around the globe masses fantasied the season to be resurgence
Palsy-walsy rain was alike the snow flurry occurrences,
Jejune July was abided by the Holy Christ's renascence.

If I Were a Flower

If I were a flower, the one I’d most like to be,
is a big and beautiful Calla Lily.
I’d stand so tall, in the garden by my friends.
My bloom would stay open even when the sunshine ends.

The aroma I emit would tell all that it’s spring.
To children's faces, I’d bring a grin.
I would let everyone know that Easter is near.
Winter is something no longer to fear.

Now they have taken and done strange things with me.
I come in just about any color that you’d want to see.
I not only come in just white, as before.
Now I am purple, yellow, black and more.

I know that I don’t last very long.
My life each year is short lived, but strong.
So of my beauty you must partake in a hurry.
I’m usually here after the last snow flurry.

Well I guess it’s time for me to go now.
I’m being moved to a different place.
I think I’m going to a hospital,
to put a smile on somebody's face.
