I sold my brother's coin collection for a fix/
Police and thieves/
Coke n smack, synth riffs and puffs
Jack McDuff, Sure ’Nuff ’n funk for you/
My life is on freeze, please don't tease
Pop the beat, heroin junkies down the street
Hookers trickin' where we used to meet/
Jazz horn and the abstract truth
The cross is afraid of women's rights/
Stay on the fight, the truth is right
Lo-fi delights while eating shrooms/
Mojave Desert eagle walk
While wearing peyote buttons round my neck
As we talked, a raven's feather flew in her hair
She was high on acid and said
I looked like a shaman dancing with a bear/

Full English

When in the U.S.A., and morning has broken,
'I'll fix breakfast,' are the words I heard spoken.

In reply, I would say, “To the kitchen I'll repair,
mend the coffee and, then, when I'm there,
what's more, I can restore the trash within our dustbin,
just refurbish the rubbish, and take it out, or leave it in.”

Altho' I tend not to be hungry, I've been supine all night,
yet I'll savour the flavour of her fine earthly delight(s).
Get stuck in and tuck in, with gusto, for a fry-up,
as 'shrooms, eggs, rashers and toms will all soon dry up.

But bring on the best of British brekkers,
black pudding, bangers and beans,
as bubble and squeak speaks to me,
if you know what I mean(s).

The confining construct

There was a Time in my life where I tried to undermine

The lies in my mind

Time being spent tryna justify

Asking myself who’s this guy

Time to get rid of the disguise

Now I’m left with this persona

Who lost his sense of self due to corona

Isolated but not at home

Doing shrooms dropping acid

Went from being avid

To my ego collapsin

So when they ask if I been slipping

Yeah I have been

Forced to fight the feeling

Born to write words that cause healing

So I picked up the pen

Becoming an addict

To be a man amongst men

Puttin my heart and pride on these sheets of paper

I’m finna Break the stereotype and become a different type of landscaper

One who cuts and trims the letters to fit better

On this piece of paper

That I call a love letter

Premium Member thinking the mushroom stealer is cute

he is short, but cute, the pink-haired teenager said to me.
I turned and looked and gave her a friendly tee-tee-hee.
That is the mushroom stealer, I know this guy well.
He stole all of the mushrooms from my Aunt Lucy Bell.

The girl turned and said “I can give you some ‘shrooms”.
The guy disappeared, with two weird sonic booms.
“What happened?” she asked me, her face a weird pink.
“he only likes to steal them, “ I told her, his name is Wink.

She waited for him to return, but he never came back.
I heard he is stealing ‘shrooms hither and yon in Hackensack.

Premium Member Illumination Elf

Illumination Elf has no idea about his gift
He knows he has a talent, right? Askes Rift.
I think so, but it is hidden right now.
It’s going to be something though, a great big wow.

Illumination Elf found his gift accidentally.
When he was left overnight beside an old oak tree.
The dark was scary, and he said I wonder if….
A light came from inside him, suddenly and swift.

He is a lightbringer! The forest said, in awe.
One of the best whom they had ever saw.
His light uplifted the shrooms and the moss.
Positiviity and joy appeared in the form of a cross.

A lightbringer! I am thrilled! The Elf did say.
He had not dared to dream of it, at end of day.
But here he was, providing light to the wood.
Doing the best he could, the best he could.

Premium Member He Is So Dreamy

Anteater guy swings his two tiny 'shrooms
They toss and sway like willow tree blooms
We watch him waddle on down the road
Probably to visit his cousin spotted toad.

He is so dreamy my cousin Suzette said.
I am shocked at her idea – is she crazed in the head.
You don’t mean Anteater guy! I incredulously say
Who else? She asks as she watches him waddle away.

Premium Member I Was Playing Thunderbirds With My Kids and Forgot What Thunderbird 3 Was, So Asked the Lifeguard

he was unaware
wolf
which was disappointing
never attempt to move or donkey punch
the empire state building

ten years of planning
ten years of shrooms
ended with puppets
and strings like cave cheese
and shreddies

we were alone in the pool
the lifeguard looked like
satan's gumdrop

layered like pie
and like a puppet on a string
junk socks and dutch rowboats
i told reception it was my first time at this pool

i was told i could use my token for the locker
i told reception again it was my first time at this pool

an overchlorinated swimming hole

Premium Member They Are Kind of Long In the Teeth

Weren’t they old belly dancers? Asked my crass cousin.
They are cheap too, cheaper than a baker’s dozen.
I did not like the way she spoke of the queens of the shrooms.
I had encouraged them to move, coaxing them to balloon.

They are a bit hefty, right? A mean old guy guessed.
They are fancy women, and very suitably well-dressed.
Aren’t they kind of long-in-the-teeth asked my cousin Keith.
What is wrong with these people? I yelled “Good grief!”

Let’s give them a chance, they are a mighty three.
They are different than others, which seems great to me.
They have stories to tell, original songs, dances and plays.
Can we please give them a chance? I asked my cousin Maize.

Premium Member Sister Please Do Not Give Away Our Spot

twixt and tween two torn out tongues in twos,
shrooms shouted out where snakes often snooze.
warlock wishes witching hour was over today
but we are sitting in Salem, so hey, hey, hey

Where witches stir, and mock and feast.
There are werewolves and wizards, west and east.
Spritely spellbooks are spouting spells to do.
The witching hour overtakes me and you.

We hide in the corner, hoping to not be found.
The only two humans in this insane house underground.
Witch comes in and says “I smell” children and we freeze.
It seems easier in books. Now I am nowhere in ease.

I shush you, Sister, please do not give away our spot.
The witch begins chanting as she fills in a pot.
Her evil laugh almost stops my breathing and my heart.
I will finish this tomorrow. Remind me where to start.

Wake Up To the Lies

Emotions run deep to the core
I've eaten so many shrooms they should be growing out of my pores
My mushie girl just wants to show me the secrets about the universe and more
Psilocybin just wants to get inside your soul and enlighten
Big Pharma wants you addicted to Fentanyl, Xanax, and Vicodin
Pharmaceutical companies just wanna ruin our lives again... and again.. and again
They don't want cures they just want you taking some kind of medication
This ensures there profitization
They are the root of the Meth and Opioid pandemic in this nation
Is it so crazy to believe in the power behind our plants
Is it so crazy to go on with these psychedelic rants
I think it's crazy that we all serve our government like little worker ants
For what? For our government to lie to us about every substance they fear
It's because they know the control they have is near
They know we are educated and we are going to prove these truths they covered up
They take tax money for marijuana and still incarcerate our family members
One day my footsteps will be remembered
As soon as corruption is finally dismembered

Premium Member Shedang Huntress of the Forest

Shedang, huntress of the forest, it is said that her arrows are true.
A protector of deer, squirrels, and other wildlife; her quiver will do.
Is she an entity or someone created by the wildlife of the trees?
I wonder as I walk through the forest, accompanied by a soft breeze.

Is it true she can leap from branch to branch, from elm to oak?
I have heard so much about her from the Germanic folk.
She maims the hunters, rarely kills them, the storytellers say.
I have heard this story since I was a child from those who were gray.

She is bewitched, some say. She can hear you coming from the lake.
I listened to these stories, and my knees began to jive and quake.
She sounded dangerous to me, it made me want to never hunt.
My grandpa kept inviting me, but I got a ball and asked him to punt.

Watch out for Shedang, they warned, don’t even step on the ‘shrooms.
She could easily fly out of a tree, and get you with arrows that zoom.
I saw her sitting way up high in a maple polishing arrows last spring.
Averted my eyes, and went back down the trail, without hurting a thing.

Premium Member Nutcracker Suite 2020

Christmas was nearing.....and yet..
These arrogant governors must be eating ,shrooms!
"We have locked the churches and schools
Now chimneys must be locked down soon!"
Their greasy hair gleamed under TV lights,
(I hated this dudes,real goons!)

" We cannot take chances with this obese, Santa Clause,.
After all,His Holiess Fauci, the CDC and the revered WHO
Stated clearly,
Santa is most assuredly a carrier of the deadly Covid, too!

Alas, the brainwashed, masked  masses, in a maelstorm of
applause agreed.
"Righto,Santa is unmasked and might even sneeze, oh, geez!
So they got to work, boarded and chimneys up,with speed!

Sir Covid was all they thought of day and night.
It was cool though, it helped them win a fraudulent election.
               ~Where went, an honest selection?~
They were mad gods and emperors now!
Full of wine, power and incurable !insurrection...

Sanguine Screams

Black beyond frozen shores,
Stellar winds blowing spawn.
Pocked lunar lithic pores,
Barren buds blooming dawn.
Shiny crust over mossed,
A young garden’s dew.
Moldy peach luster lost,
Glow spiders hazy blue.
Spores pulsate swelling nodes,
Shrieking howls grunting sounds.
Shrooms lactate yelling toads,
Shadow wolves' hunting grounds.
Silken silvered moon beams,
Silent short sanguine screams.

The Magic Mushroom

Fungi, fungus, funguses thousand fold,
eukaryotic life kingdom of yeast and mold.

Ancient legends and myths from many times,
beginnings and ends through mulching slimes.

Egyptians sensed the connection in fungi to gods,
only Pharaohs allowed to have them as foods.

Consuming the fungi to become immortal static,
Mushroom stones in Mesoamerica enigmatic.

The Rig Veda describes the juice of Soma,
considered as precious liquid of stardust and earth aroma.

Indispensable in all worships and ritual,
similar to Greek deities of cognate ambrosia.

Consumed in Shamanic sessions to contact spirits of the dead,
fortifying long hunting trips an dreams thread.

Penicillin antibiotics against bacterial infection,
surviving the war with needed invention.

Psilocybin and psilocin magic shrooms,
DMT, acid blotters magic truffles booms.

Alice in wonderland and the philosopher’s stone,
introspective hallucination and psychosis throne.

Natures secret language by mildews organisms,
earths everlasting fungi dew compost prism.

National Pizza Day

Today’s the day to celebrate
A food that few dislike or hate
For pizza’s found most everywhere;
A town without it would be rare.

From big round pies served by the slice
To square Sicilians, all entice,
No matter if they’re topped with cheese
Or have more fancy pedigrees

‘Cause toppings vary; where you eat it
May decide what tops complete it –
Pepperoni, veggies, ham,
Pineapple or shrimp or clam

Sausage, meatballs, spinach, ‘shrooms,
Even tofu, one assumes.
Sprinkle with oregano
Or pepper flakes; you’re good to go.

We should all indulge today
So if you’re home or you’re away,
Go find yourself a sizzling slice
Of gastronomic paradise!
