sweet batting of eyes
there is no end
to worrisome

our defence is to gather

fails to congeal

Nerve-racking
Intensifying stressful tensions
Anguished, worrisome, troubling, sorrowful

Broadcast #9
Sing with me, Henry.
Time is tapping
A worrisome foot
For the rhythm
Of life is a mess.
Too many hearts
are dressed in despair.
and the lost need a song
for their souls....

Always be certain --
Don’t expect forgiveness
Given harmful indignation
Just keep laughing
My noble opponent
Particularly quarrelsome
Ribaldry seems to unleash
Very worrisome x-rays,
You zygote!...

her constant frets and threats became annoying
Perpetual worrisome pout turned ugly fast.
time wasting stuff he did not honor
so he walked away, saving himself,
knowing the preciousness of time lost....

Now
NOW

Losing balance
Now feels normal, not worrisome.

Color movies of once-vivid memories,
Now are black and white stills.

Old age was a big shoe waiting for you,
Into which you now fit....

Refrain From Being Weak
Refrain From Being Weak

Should maintain sanity which does remain;
No longer seem insecure with much strain;
With worrisome look,
Should  write a book;
About appearing to be weak should refrain.

Worrisome wiggle worms
wishfully wiping Wedgewood windows,
wandering within William’s whiskers.
Wisely wriggling while wistfully waiting
for whoops within William’s whiskers,
wiggle worms wandering winsomely....

To the Heart That Weeps
The WRECKED WOMEN

Whether I work or womb
Willingly or by worship

Sometimes so worrisome
Wonderfully I Weaponise LIFE
No longer a WIFE

Wealth of knowledge to gain
Now no longer in pain
Maybe on the way to a SAINT.

Comma
When I was younger, I would constantly proofread my suicide letter.
God forbid the last thing I be remembered by be an incorrectly used comma.
These days, I write poetry that merely dance around the subject.
It's worrisome to others, but I personally prefer this art to perfecting a last goodbye....

Premium Member Comforting Rain
Outside the window
I hear the rain.
It relaxes me,
it dispels my pain.

I breathe in deep,
fresh cleansed air.
I empty my mind
of worrisome cares.

I love the sound
of rain in the trees.
It comforts me,
puts my mind at ease.

Summer rain falls
outside my window,
the most relaxing sound
that I know....

Premium Member Upon a Rose of Hope

Unto you
May peace touch your soul
May the worrisome trials
Revealing truth
Find prosperity road

May each untouched vision
Reign in vivid dream
To push upon a new plateau
Of life again redeemed

And then upon that springtime morn
As the dawning sun approach
To Sprinkle sunlight in velvet song
Upon a rose of hope

Premium Member Old Man Tee Joe and Sue Now Ruth
Old man Tee Joe did not know how to sew.
Pants were so long he could not plow his snow.
Found sewer named Sue
Is wooing her too.
They are so happy they both fairly glow!

Old Man Tee Joe popped the question at last.
Did not care about Sue’s worrisome past.
She told him the truth
He renamed her Ruth
Their forty-six years have been an utter blast!...

Troubled Waters
Drowning in a puddle of unforgiving misfortune
Wrestling with the darkness
The past wavering in the distance
Like darkened clouds
Moving forward in the mist of the empty hearted
Like the blind forgotten by the light
Leaving behind all the lost and worrisome folk
Dangers be all forgotten now
Cause troubled waters are closing in and the fearsome drown...

Where Is Rico
An online buddy disappears
And there’s no way to find him.
He’s simply vanished, leaving
All his published poems behind him.

In other cases, people left
But it took me a while
To notice they were gone;
A daily poem was not their style.

When someone who won’t miss a day
And comments with affection
Just stops his posts, my mind goes
In a worrisome direction....

It's good to be proud.
Of yourself, and of others.
Be pure and kind too.

Take pleasure in nice
Find hobbies that you can love
For fulfilling life

Don't expect others
To give up their dreams and goals
to entertain you.

Whining's worrisome.
And complaining is wearing.
Be happy today.

A River Thought

A walk down by the river to settle a worrisome thought

crazy , mixed up mind battles far too many fought

The river's passing with its soothing smooth flowing sound

brings images of angels dancing to the trumpted sound

Rage not against fate's dark hand nor its unyielding wall

pray for abundant life, pray for gentle mercies, pray for us all.... Robert Lindley...

Premium Member Exposed With Two Lenses
I was a child of only seven years,
adventurous, bold, I had no fears.
Into the woods I would go
after my Mom told me "No."
But worth the spanking and the tears.

These days the woods are worrisome,
fear I may trip and land on my bum.
Things live there I didn't see
when I was young and carefree.
With age, it's to caution I have succumb.
