It's good to be proud.
Of yourself, and of others.
Be pure and kind too.

Take pleasure in nice
Find hobbies that you can love
For fulfilling life

Don't expect others
To give up their dreams and goals
to entertain you.

Whining's worrisome.
And complaining is wearing.
Be happy today.


Your life's work is to
Fulfill yourself completely
And Follow your bliss

It does when you are two, three, or four, but hopefully most of us outgrow that until we reach 18, when it happens again for about a year.

Hello Caren. I've been meaning to read your poetry for a long time; so with finally a day off of work, I brought up the first poem you put on PoetrySoup. This is wonderful Caren. I especially like the fourth stanza, or should I say fourth haiku. What a nice use of the haiku form. Thank you Caren, and now onto the last poem you've submitted.

Here I finally am, late, but not to late to soon see we relate! Can I borrow the 4th haiku to put on a t-shirt that I'll wear when my love's brother visits us? And the last stanza is what gives away our basic sameness: we both believe in individuality, to being authentic on a journey where we are not humans seeking spirituality, be spiritual beings having a human experience.
