Comforting Rain
Outside the window
I hear the rain.
It relaxes me,
it dispels my pain.
I breathe in deep,
fresh cleansed air.
I empty my mind
of worrisome cares.
I love the sound
of rain in the trees.
It comforts me,
puts my mind at ease.
Summer rain falls
outside my window,
the most relaxing sound
that I know.
