No Longer Being
No Longer Being

After No Longer Being in the woods,
Brought out bows, bangles and goods;
After picture drew,
Then we knew,
Our solution through all time withstood.

Do What God Desires
Do What God Desires

History so many things it has withstood;
Some of them bad while most are good;
While you live,
Freedom give;
God said do what He desires and should.

While Walloping Waking Whale
While
walloping
waking
whale
withstood
whipping
winning
warship
which
we
were
washing

Is this a lantern or a latrine?

God Is Good In Our Neighborhood
God Is Good In Our Neighborhood

With God everything we have withstood,
Which is like we always would and should;
We deserve,
With verve;
Filled our lives with love in neighborhood.

Trump Does Detest and Hard To Digest
Trump Does Detest and Hard to Digest

There are many who Trump does detest,
And he also does find them hard to digest;
Never good;
We withstood;
He became paranoid and apparently a pest.

Understood What Was Meant To Be Good
Understood What Was Meant To Be Good

They always knew that if I ever could,
What I wanted to do is have withstood,
Still will try;
Only I know why;
Meaningful purpose to be for the good.

Still Together
Despite the driving winds and rain,
we withstood the worst of this hurricane.
The house still stands and the family is together.
We are still intact after this destructive weather.

God Withstood Like He Would
God us had withstood
be without sin what we should
we knew that He would

Sunday again arrive
do love honey in bee hive
glad we are alive

have been revealing
think that we are appealing
our sin canceling (hiding)...

Values, Time Withstood
The logic in morality,
  lay hidden in the math

The danger in neutrality,
  an unwillingness to act

The numbers tell the story,
  as no Poet ever could

Their truth the final glory
  —in values time withstood

(Villanova Pennsylvania: November, 2016)...

Ancient Winter Breath
Romance of snow fall thick
Dense today, swirling insistent
I stand window pressed wondering
Whether the hearth of winter follows

Winds cross and cushion the ground
Creatures of the forest settle down
And hibernation comes when it should
Winters ancient murmur withstood...

Just Cause
What is it in or of this Earth
Which binds, unseen, a souls re-birth
Old eyes see life, a path withstood
Anew again, misunderstood
A gift I am, for to oppose
Gives separate meaning, unsupposed
In all that is, will be, or was
Rests life in death, in death’s just cause...

Winter Stance Minichu
Now a hollow cloud I remember
Drops me from so high—
Melts off this forever.

My red in the thermometer's glass—
For I to ghost's gloom run
By mercury's clairsentience.

The frost's white blush—
A green blossom thud;
Winter withstood.

Now a hollow cloud I remember
For I to ghost's gloom run;
Winter withstood....

Throne of Pain
Broken feelings…
My chest of gold
A torments ransom
No trinkets sold
The treasure bounteous
Walls lined with blood
Its hurt and pain
I have withstood
The jewels lack sparkle
But shimmer deep
Their cut and clarity
My soul to keep
And words if cheapened
Must leave this throne
As the lid reopens
  —on the pain I own

(Villanova Pennsylvania: January, 2016)...

Sarah's Song
The tree was here
For a hundred years
Of sun and rain and snow

I need not guess
To know for sure
It’s stump has told me so

As a very young tree
It withstood a disease
A fire and drought long ago

It must have felt
Itself near death
It may have longed to go

But life won out
And the trees here about
Are here because

This little tree
Wouldn’t let go...

Making Love At Midnight
Need to know
When never to show
True feelings found
Buried deep underground
Emotions to hide
Anger pretends to be satisfied
Admit defeat
The new heart beat
Misunderstood

To feel your Love show
To never let you go
Trying to understand
While holding your hand
Wanted to take it slow
Now we may never know
Our Love makes everything right
Making Love at Midnight
Always, Time withstood...

Britney Greiner Horn Haiku
Britney Greiner Horn Haiku

was an unfair trial
she has started new hair style
nail polish and file

return intention
happy again must mention
brought to our attention

above all she stood
head was covered with a hood
suffering withstood

she has much appeal
fine food will be here next meal
prayed when she did kneel.

would see white snowflake
on Native Soul breath did take
happy again make...

Premium Member Man of Vanquished Spirit
An unseen ghost Knows just who to scare By bringing fear He meanders down an alley To find an unsuspecting man One taste he wants To indulge to the fabric Of this life’s being He appears to him This man of vanquished spirit So pained he ignores The fearful ways of a ghost So rarely cast aside by pain No soulless being Has ever withstood a ghost’s Intricate forceful ploys

In the Spotlight
The tree
it stands alone in a field of wheat
looking stunning and powerful as can be
it has withstood tornadoes, hurricanes and lightening storms
it looks picturestic especially in the evening sky
when the sun is setting for the night
the tree it stands all alone looking almost mysterious
for there are no other trees around
The tree
it stands alone in a field of wheat
looking stunning and powerful as can be...

Premium Member Venus's Phantom
The temple of Venus of Imperial Rome has withstood time,
it has also captured many poets making verses of rhyme;
the MYSTERIOUS temple was once adorned with thyme,
it still stands in a landscape of TRANQUILITY so sublime.
Venus was an ANCIENT deity as VENERABLE as springtime,
now she's a phantom in a temple that lures clowns that mime...
it had that SYLVAN charm without the ugliness of urban grime.
