Wedding Cake

Their cake was filled with stuff,
like candy, fish and cheese;
so hard to find a pair
as badly matched as these!

Premium Member Birthday Wedding Cake

a wonderful birthday wedding cake
two celebrations in one
the baker stacked roses and carnations high
in peaches, pinks, and lavenders
delighting she was asked to cater her daughter’s wedding

Marry Me

I want the world to know
That we are really one
I want to pinch your cheeks
After taking our vows
I want to put a ring on your finger
While everyone is watching
I want to kiss you
In front of everyone
Amidst cheering from the crowd
I want to brighten your forehead
With the wedding cake

Our Wedding

Bright warm sunny day
My bride adorned in white lace
Church bells ringing out

Church bells ringing out
In god's presence vows taken
Love, cherish I will

Love, cherish I will
Wedding cake cut, celebrate
Smiling happy faces

We have been married thirty six years this August

Premium Member hope hanging on her edges

white as a wedding cake and bride’s satin dress
feathers as whimsical and frothy as white lace
delicate and delightful, the dove flew into the room
bringing a sense of peace and joy, hope hanging on her edges
the hawks were disturbed; they wanted war and turmoil
they cringed a bit, feeling that God was in the house

Premium Member Not Relishing Cake

My baker’s commissioned to bake A huge cow shaped iced wedding cake The groom is a farmer He sure is a charmer Its design could lead to heartbreak When the bride saw the cake how she cried Her traditional cake was denied She screamed at the groom Get out of this room Then she plunged the knife in the cow’s side Inspired by but not for contest 02~09~17

Bake Me a Cake

“can you make me a five layer wedding cake?
and then put a bride and groom figure at the top”

“sure can, you’re in for a big surprise”

the cake was made and delivered
the baker got a call day after the reception

the cake was terrible, was loaded with peanuts
and the groom was a planters peanut figure
how do you explain that?

baker-“anyone who orders a cake from me has to be a nut cake”!!!

Premium Member I Am Drawing My Wedding Cake

Some people lose their eyes.
Spiders fall from the sky.
I ate a green hotdog once.
My grandma’s dog poops green.
A giggle.
Two of them look to see if I am listening.
I pretend I am not.
That’s gross! Oooh! Yuck!
One falls off of his chair.
Two laugh.
I am drawing my wedding cake.
I am drawing MY wedding cake!
They kill everything in the world including animals.
First grade conversation as they draw in art class.

Premium Member The Wedding Cake

The bride and groom
decided to bake
a white icing and double chocolate
wedding cake;
never much of a cook
it was a chance the bride took
a special dish
to serve their friends
who would come and attend
flour and cocoa on the counter
soon the groom was smiling..
the room a disaster!
food was everywhere
the floor the air
even..the brides hair!
eventually the made their cake
and now a special memory
they have to keep

Premium Member Gods Work

frozen palace of ice
with blizzard frosting
like a wedding cake

swirled drifts of snow
freshly made ice cream pretty
a gorgeous and natural masterpiece

this is obviously gods work
showing me what He can do with winter
i take a breath and feel rejuvenated

a reverence overtakes my spirit
i admire the brisk cold air
my heart warms at my vulnerability

frozen palace of ice
with blizzard frosting
like a wedding cake

Finding Ms Right

He had been engaged several times
but never had the heart to get hitched
There had been quite a few near Mrs.
But so far he was not so enriched

Then one day he discovered Ms. right
He was married after so many years
It was such an emotional time
Even the wedding cake was in tiers.

Then one day they had a baby boy
This was her last birthing endeavor
They named him "Ever" after her dad
And then lived happily after Ever!

Premium Member wedding cake told us what we knew

We suspected as much before we saw their wedding cake
With the bride raising the groom in the air, our friend Lake
Lake laughed uncomfortably, being embarrassed a tiny bit.
I was kind of hoping that this guy would not go through with it.

But they got married, and she spun him around.
She was the bossiest woman he could have ever found.
We heard a bit later that Lake went underground.
I figured out where he was, but he made not a sound.

Premium Member Vanilla Fondant

The wedding cake was vanilla fondant
 Its flavor did enchant
But it was truly a surprise
At how the cake was disguised

The guests knew not where to start
 They'd never seen this before
The groom took the first slice
And then everyone came back for more

All the guest had left Jenny Craig
They were tired of that mess
They ate and ate without finesse,
The cake itself was the wedding dress!

The Newest Couple

Their wedding cake is perfect flour,
Rich, Fresh: A Never–To–Sour,
‘Pink Rose’ The Bride’s flower’,
A bouquet holding with excited power …

‘Husband and wife’ pronounced at Jesus hour,
As enemies helplessly glower,
While above them they tower,
Neatly forcing them to cower …

St. John’s Church Newest Couple,
Looking wondrously ‘The Supple’
To never themselves overreach
Nor matrimonial contract breach …

And what to that say, All Men?
An Earth-shaking “Amen!”
