Belle
Jade Vines
Ravishing
Mint green, Turquoise
Among the forests
With striking hue
Wins our heart
Forever
Belle
Fields of gold and green
Pumpkin-born on twisted vine
Surprising beauty
Once again I missed the contest...sigh
Bougainvillea
60 degrees Fahrenheit
Enchanted moment
Denizen of summer
Purple petal, silent fall
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Vines of love on fertile clay,
In air so thin they calmly lay.
Love, root of a family
Fruit of the womb
God’s chosen vine
Without we are nothing

I sat on the vine way up high
What a beautiful day I sigh
Soon came Farmer’s wife
With a carving knife
Now I’m a spicy pumpkin pie
I sat serenely on the vine
The sun on my rind sublime
Came the farmer’s wife
with a carving knife
I’ll nevermore feel the sun shine
Sharp curses on empty air
Like a hate plucked from lonely vine
There is nothing right and fair
To faint hearts drowsed in lies of wine
I’ve memories saved for future use
they’re gathering like a storm,
and they’re all mine - fruit on the vine,
I’m prone to dreams and poems.

her passion flower vine
lines the ceiling front to back
grandmother's greenhouse
in the rain forest
whip-like tendrils spiral trees
racing to the sun

The Muscadine Grapes
Ripening on the vine
Little tart but fine
Water was scarce so
They didn't have chance to grow
Soon they will be ripe
I see my future
in your verses - so divine,
those are like grape vines ;
the juices of your wisdom
drip to satisfy my thirst

~ Poem Of The Day ~
November 10, 2020
there is a vine under my window
and it is trying real hard to climb into my room
i don’t want that vine in my room
but if it can do it
i won’t stop it
or peaceful vines
to turn a fork to tines
fluffy kisses guessing
without dressing
on occassion
pink ovation
to feast and dine
on a ripened vine!

~ Passionate, sweet, true ...
yet no other,
finds this heart ... of worth. ~
nest blown down from vine
faint nightmare blurred in sunshine
winds have drawn the line
The juices from grapes, turns my warm blood into sweet red wine
Let my veins be filled with vine

There once was a friar respectable
All thought of him purely impeccable
He took grape from the vine
then fermented strong wine
And now he is more than deprecable
Bloom in early morn,
polychrome bells twist on vine.
Bright sun brings your show.
By Angeline Vine
The lady only had one arm left
They found her at the edge of the marsh
both legs gone and her right arm missing
It was an amazing snack
Berries on a vine
in bright sunshine.
Gravel on a road.
A fat green toad
glistens in the light,
waits for cool of night,
croaks one flat note
only frogs could quote.
Infatuation
blossomed on the clinging vine
devotion withered
beneath cold passions folly
strangled by its own blindness
