Vine

Loneliness creeps
The heart weeps
Unresolved issues find
Their way through blind
Places dark as black
There is no going back
Yet the vine grows
Entangling the mind
Answers waiting to find
To lift these burdens
That are too heavy to weigh
For things I cannot say

I just love the analogy here, a creeping vine in the mind, twisting and weaving its way, creating thoughts, ideas, dreams and fears. Really well written Heidi.

Yes it seems trouble and confusion can be like a vine twisting inside your head and tangling everything up, choking all good sense out of everything. At times like this it's good to be able to just slow down, take a deep breath and remember that like most blockages this too shall pass. God never promised an easy road. He just sent His Son to help us through the difficult parts. Great job here Heidi. Nicely done. Merry Christmas and a big seven from me. JB
