Premium Member Meatless Mondays

I wonder: is one man's ballad invalid word salad or a plant-based substitute for veggie palates?

Veggie Might

Vegans deliver "praise-me" talks
And brag about their healthy walks
They all spout facts
But watch their backs
Because they know celery stalks!

Birthday Pasta

Crimson juice poured unto it
Cheddar toppings dripped
Scent of spice with veggie meat
Cooked slow, garnish neat
Macaroni treat
My Birthday

charlotte carrot is her name

though shes not the one to blame

for a grocer came to town

and in greeting lacked a noun

so a veggie brought her fame.

Premium Member Eating Like a Vegan

Donald Trump's been eating like a vegan
He's taking his cues from Ronald Reagan
   Who said ketchup's a veggie
And while that's kind of edgy
Trump wants all the votes of the collegians

Premium Member Boys' Taste Buds Get Refined

So many boys just cannot stand carrots
Orange veggie sticks for them have no merit
   But as their eyesight declines
Their taste buds get more refined
Orange eye candy's sweet ~ They can stare at it

Premium Member To Poop Or Not To Poop

For Jan’s contest

Poor old Sparky suffered bad from the runs
Always eating quorn rings with veggie buns
Never once would he chew meat
Mushrooms grew on his loo seat
Now uses bean bags to dump his gross tons

Premium Member It Seems

It seems that the beef
In Stans veggie beef soup.
Has gone the same way
As most pork and beans do.
So, that is to say
There isn't much of either.
Yet, that's just my view
But the price has grown steeper.

Wiggly Worm

Wiggzy Wormzy
Burrowing
Saying neighbourly hies
As he writhed
From top to bottom
Of the veggie garden

Wiggzy Wormzy
Waving
Sharing friendly hi-fives
As he cantilevered
From leaf to roof
Of the veggie garden

Premium Member Carrots

Premium Member Diamonds

Digging for diamonds
Excited, over joyed
Here? dig here
This is a garden

Oh! look what
Beautiful foliage
The tops are so lacy
Like a fern

This is a veggie
Garden, "Right?"
Dig now here
Well so I dug

This beautiful
Colorful root
Began to appear
Carrots???

Premium Member Some Sweetmeat With Mesquite

Sweet, sweet, can't be beat
What a treat, love to eat
Veggie meat, cookie sheet
Oats and wheat down the street.

Take a seat off your feet
Here to greet friends from Crete
Cuban Pete in the sleet
Areet pleat, neat, petite.

The elite ocean fleet
No defeat, no retreat
Never cheat, just compete
I entreat my parakeet.

~Tranquility~

Cozy and hot outside!
Two symbols of these worlds collide

Eluding eclipse effect and becomes worldwide,
Sinking every lover's heart from the inside

Unhappy endings, one massive clutch-less ride
Emotions fly, like a veggie glide.

Under this new moon and sun's high tide.
God, must have a new evil plan set aside!

Go and Play

Words burnt in my brain,
Times not to come again,'
Of long lost childhood,
Things motherly-good?
"Go and play!"
That's all she'd say,
In a big back yard,
Veggie patch too hard,
Mud pies we played,
Fun times stayed,
Boy, was there trouble!
Fled on the double,
"Go and play!"
That's all she'd say,
Long lost childhood,
Things maternal--good?

Veggie Dip

Nothing really hits the spot
like fresh-made veggie dip.
All those green and crunchy things;
it really is a trip.

There are always mushrooms, too,
to add a little zest.
Of course, they don't really crunch,
but I like them best.

I make my dip with sour cream
then add the mayonnaise,
garlic, onion and fresh chive;
it really does amaze.

Premium Member Gobble, Gobble Turkey

I was thinking - why do we eat turkey ? The history of it is just quirky, eat veggie pizza, why not; home made- from the oven hot, why not forget about gobblers perky ! Oh, turkeys run, run as fast as you can, or you will be roasting in a big pan: flap your pretty long feathers, run, no matter the weathers; keeping your head- feet and all ...is the plan !

Lets Make Sense of What You Did

What you did was wrong
You suffocated it in all thats white
You then let it burn up
You let it melt
You took your knife
You Cut it open

Im sorry poor unborn chickies

This guy wanted his oatmeal:Quick

So lets make sense of what you did:
Its all wrong!

Oh I Say Apple Pie

It's just one of those things you say
When your friend has got carried away
She thinks she's all posh
She won't eat any nosh
So I just say Oh Apple Pie

Its one of those things that you eat
When your veggie or not eating meat
Its a lovely little pie
but I couldn't say why
So I just say Oh Apple Pie

Its a saying I say quite a lot
When People I know have forgot
That I went to posh school
Was kicked out coz im Cool
And so I just say Oh Apple Pie
