Loaded Images
Put on a brash label
That a collector's get moist
Upgrade his shelf level
Nevermind the cracked old vinyl voice

One of the four divisions
Spend bread when it meets the eye
the same scan with precision
Just those loaded images don't satisfy...

Newest home.
Digital writings
Flood the domain as eyes scour
Pouring our hearts, souls, and minds on bleached sheets of paper.
The trial has completed and my home is chosen. Time for an upgrade to premium!

Human Degration
If you are wise, don’t make me fool.
If a person is human why is he so cruel?
Why is a human poor? Because
Intelligence is holding the upgrade tool.

Is your main function human exploitation?
Is your main function human degration?
Do you think a man wants to live as human?
Are you n’t developing a insulted nation?...

Premium Member Karma Snarls
I got what I deserve
a third rate circumstance
of my own making.

Over the decades
I've downgraded a few times
tossed the good ones aside
and swallowed the rotten.
Now I dream in burlap.
and wear jester boots.

It's too late, I've made my bed
to late to upgrade
the pitch is to steep.
That's why
karma
snarls
at
me....

Premium Member To Be Insured
People say
Life is to be insured by
Insurance
Education and qualifications
Money and treasures
Medicine
We man finally find out that
Nothing can be totally insured
So during our life spans
Why not multiply our happiness
By sharing with others
Who are less fortunate
Why not upgrade our reputation
By doing good and avoid evil...

Axle In Balance
Looking back at the times
one can`t help but wonder
ceaseless urge to upgrade
modification of age grade

From cradle to golden
spoon golden or wooden
recognition in the making
without a second thinking

Burning candle the alternative
viewing stardom the motive
shunning every story
to give birth the glory

Still i have a story
but lo` it`s a success story!...

Great White
If you can see it, it’s quite a sight
A shark in the soup, a great white
Huge teeth and stone dead black eyes
To approach it, I do not advise
It only appears in December
To feast on a premium member
Life members do not apply
And the others are only small fry
Premium members are you afraid
I bet that you want to upgrade

Premium Member Open The Door Rondine
Open the door to your deepest desire
look inside this fantasy factory;
It may be blurry but it’s clear to see
you can always get a little higher;
Ambition breeds something of a spitfire
building skills and aiming for mastery;
Open the door
renegade instigators for hire,
able to express themselves so freely;
If you feel stuck and are feeling badly
upgrade to an optimistic rewire;
Open the door....

Breaking the Hyman of a Lonely Heart
no other movement feels like this
no other soothing stroke equals this bliss

there is only one comparison agreeable to me
that is the unconditional loyalty of thee

heal my sanity and lubricate my chassis
humble my vanity and upgrade me from ashy to classy

thank you for giving me a gift of the rarest of forms
for the bond the we created and will strengthen will surely weather even the mightiest of storms.......

Thick Skin
Oh, to have skin that's thick and tough
Where nothing's really strong enough
To penetrate and cause a wound,
Too thick to even be harpooned.

Some lucky souls are built that way
And keep life's stings and barbs at bay,
Protected by such armored skin
That nothing hurtful trickles in.

Alas, my skin's like cellophane;
Each minor pinprick causes pain.
An upgrade to a thicker hide
Would help slough off my wounded pride....

Not Just Like a Girl
A girl you always think
Is a showpiece to blink
Just for you and like ones
But you must now rethink

A resolution I have made
To throw away the cascade
And join hands with thorns
To change and to upgrade

I don’t want to waste time
In the hesitations of a prime
I want to win over hurdles
And with world to rhyme

I want none of decorations
Or any childish temptations
I want to present examples
For my coming generations...

Sunday Reign
Why do some fear to pass,
and others fear to trod?
As the sun heats up our shadows,
paradise is burying God.

From across the silver sea
to our golden coasts,
the country is now haunted
by hundreds of holy ghosts.

Say goodbye, we are sinking.
Will your paradise ever rise?
See, the Sunday reign is falling,
false hope never satisfies.

Paradise needs an upgrade,
is freedom really free?
After you cross all your deserts,
meet me by the happy sea....

Its a Cookbook
These are the days of ambient light
Where speech is bastardised into winking icons
Where binary money buys the next upgrade
Sunlight seen through a man made lens
Imagination imprisoned on the net
Our lives the library books of an electric race
Relationships ripped on live tv
We are the desensitized generation
The qwerty kings and queens
all the answers a finger tip away
We are humanity trapped within the world wide web
And the internet is never appeased...

Premium Member No Longer a Traves-Tea
My husband brews terrible tea So I asked him repeatedly To pre warm the pot With water that's hot But he never listened to me! I admit I should not be rude But his tea tasted dreadfully stewed T'was bitter and brown Each cup made me frown He said I showed no gratitude! So I embarked on a crusade And purchased a shiny teasmaid It makes the perfect brew There is plenty for two I’m delighted I made the upgrade! 2/24/18 TOTAL FICTION POEM!

Remote Control
Remembering all the many years
we called on you to drop your fears.
Audits we said you would not fail
if signature were by email.
And invoices in copies sent
would not end up with noses bent.
We screamed paperless for so long
and all it took was a viral song.

You said we’d never work from home
Doing conferences by phone,
or Zoom which we had for a decade.
You stifled every sensible upgrade.

Then once the threat got up in your face
In two weeks the undoable was in place....

Winter Poems I
Tonight
the street is full of poems
hanging, shimmering
frozen petals in the air

He who dares to pick one
makes no imprint in the holy snow.

-NOTICE-

I would love it if Soupers could give me some critical feedback. I don't even mind very very strong critiques as long as they're constructive. I'm always encouraged by all the positive comments you all give me, but I think it's time to upgrade my writing skills. ;) So come on and take my poem to pieces, people! :D...
