I Wonder
what my parents are doing now
that they’ve been in Heaven
for over 30 years
did they get the mortgage paid
or did they have to refinance
for an upgrade to a bigger cloud
do they have a good retirement plan
maybe they’re taking that
‘Haunt the universe’s most fantastic places’
cruise they’ve always dreamed of
perhaps now they’ll have time to garden
and spend more time with the grandkids
