Hiding Inside An Old Gutted-Out Tree Trunk

I am not that person
I was not that person
I may never be that person
for
that person is me
unfree
hiding inside an old
gutted-out tree

Anatomy of a Failed Marriage

Eyes that search, but never see
Hearts that yearn, yet writhe unfree

Minds closed tight, that fear to think
Two troths pledged ~ never linked...

Angry Slaves

None are more enslaved hopelessly,
than those who falsely believe that they are free,
and none get angrier than any by far,
than those you attempt to enlighten how unfree they are....

An Effect Without a Cause

An effect without a cause
A bolting into being
Is anathema to reason
A delirium or dream

Proximate – and ultimate
Phenomena exclaim
There is one rule inviolate -
Determinism reigns

The implication staggers -
Our will constrained, unfree
Yet if this be so
How can reason be?...

The commuter

You see the sunlight amongst the scree
There was a man
who couldn't tell me anything
Where there was once the comfort
of the evenings telegraph line
he runs wild amongst shops turned into flatlets
Keep on a straight line
he has changed his mind
where once basson roamed
he guesses himself unfree
fortitude follows the wind

Deborah a leader upon God’s

freed by Jesus’ law.In Him
we see neither Greek nor Gentile

Packed Mind

Loaded mind
with caotic thoughts
there is no 'satis'
like an overloaded bus
packed
like a little nest
crowded with birds
big birds
noisy
uninterested sound
uncomforting zone
windy
cold
heat-hot like a burning gold
no rest
unfree
tranquility's absence
quest for peace
lack of bliss
like disturbed bees
up and down
hopeless time
internal crime.

Enchained Unfree Recited Structured Prose

ENCHAINED UNFREE
Who has believed the reports,to
whom has the arm of the Lord been
revealed.Who has heard His voice,
who stands in the light. The sun
rises and shines,and shadows of
darkness occur.Who will understand
and respond.Who will stay in the
shadows,spiritually blind,who will see
who remains enslaved,enchained unfree

Lost Words

I feel like a poppy
in a field of hogweed
My sentences have run dry
I am rudderless in the wilderness
I lack a welter of letters
unassigned to the wherewithal

I am lost in a cave
unfree to ply my words
The storm clouds jettison their foray
Speechless I gain no semblance
as the autre bards attack me
walking in no one's land
slow to trust in myself
the world should awaken
with an uninhibited din...

The Living Light

Where will this light go?
Some who claim to know
See its presence dim--
A wisp of cosmic whim--
A flicker made complete in afterglow.

Why was this light made?
To complement the shade?
Did schism at the source
Give the dark its force?
What whole could luminescence have betrayed?

Yet burning lights could be,
Within the mystery,
An ember in the dark,
A needed bearings mark.
More or less than this makes it unfree....

Summer

It is summer,a summer in autumn
This must be true,this must be true;
Those flowers are never late to blossom,
Because of the day I found you.

But does my love befit your grace
When your heart is far away and unfree?
And can our fear see the better days
When we are comfortable with misery?

It is summer,summer in autumn,
I've found this to be true,
If God is giving you a sea to fathom,
 Would you? Could you?

03-17-12
some velvet briars...

Your Eyes

The eye is the window to the soul.
Proverbs 30:17

Your eyes tell me
you don't think our love is enough,
life is no longer carefree,
love has become a handcuff
that keeps you unfree
and stagnant.

Your eyes tell me
freedom has become a magnet,
forcing you to flee
all of love's entanglement.
You are blind to my heart's plea,
And so, just go!

Point

Points?
What is the point?

Why do we fight?
Why do we even try?

To live in a life unfree
To live where your not accepted
Unless your like all the rest.

How do you make a future
When no one expects a future worth
Living for.

What's the point to go on?

To work,
To love,
To dream,
To live.

What is the point?

So many bad people
So many good people
So many confused people.

What is one
To make a difference
When no one cares?

Tell me.
What's the point....
