Anatomy of a Failed Marriage

Eyes that search, but never see
Hearts that yearn, yet writhe unfree

Minds closed tight, that fear to think
Two troths pledged ~ never linked

Hello Gershon ... courtship; engagement; marriage; once the birth for a long lasting life of love and happiness because couples got to know each other first. Today on the main, is a fairy tale - thank you Gershon - Lindsay

I'm all for traditional 'Hollywood marriages:' Wham, Bam, Slam? -- No thank you, Ma'am!! Smiles, Gershon

Hello Gershon, sometimes couples date a short time, then get married. Only to discover one of them wants a divorce. tTat is because they got married too fast without giving a chance to really know each other. enjoy your day my friend.

Hello Gershon, the couple got married too fast and did not know each others name! Wow! That is crazy!! Enjoy your day my friend.

Ha, ha! You may be right, Darlene. Why, the other day I heard of a couple who got married so fast that they didn't even know each other's names...

Sad that is the state of some marriages but also some people who are single are the same. I enjoyed reading your work. Thanks for your visit to my page. I am anticipating that chocolate rain most any minute. Sara

You realize that this 'failed marriage' is not mine, right? It's 'fictional,' although hopefully it rings enough bells that it sounds as if it could be true... Thanks, Kim
