before
i used to
look for proof
but again
and again and
again all I found
we're
polished stones
along the beach
Form:
sea draws back a breath
shore disappears out of view
to spew forth its puke
Ocean bed quivers quakes
Predator waves race to shores
Devour men material
Origami soul
Pressed in rice paper tightly
A tomb of beauty
Memory of Geisha's heart
Tsunami tears in albums...

I’ve lost all of my tropical fish
And it’s my neighbour I have to thank
Because he plays his music so loud
It caused a tsunami in my fish tank
Form:
thoughtless inaction
seaside sickness spreads in waves
tsunami lays bare
taste wild strawberry
high mountain meadow sunset
thoughtless inaction
Who loves this fool ignoramus?
Even Time says t-rump is not famous
He must be a commie
Since he's brought us a tsunami
Of toxins that stem from his anus
her grief comes in waves
a tsunami immersed her
drags pain from her soul

Turning away from peace
Seems to bring
Unsettling truth to the mind.
Nervous we stand
At attention while the
Mounting war toll
Inundates our mind.
Anxiety and prayer
Prayer has the power to lift us up to higher ground,
when Tsunami waves of anxiety surround us.

SEA
teaches
us NOT to
cross that line called
SHORE
LOUD
warning
or we'll see
TSUNAMI WAVES
roar

My love for you is like a tsunami
The power of the moon makes us all quite balmy
Without a fuss
It turns us to mush
As we munch away on our delicious salami

I slipped on a teardrop for goodness sake
and when I landed I felt the earth quake,
so while I thought I looked fine
I've gotta trim the waistline...
or else a large tsunami I may make.
Happy birthday, dear Naeumi,
Firm hope just sees the ray of light;
Solid faith defeats tsunami;
Great love sets everything aright.

Unheard by those above
Muffled a tolling bell
Fathoms down
Calling the faithful
Welcome a congregation
The Tsunami dead
And Sailors dropping down
Inspired by Claude Debussy’s piece
Form:
the moment her eyes
elusive
yet the sea sees her
within,
such vast
oceans her thoughts
told by a thousand
and quell not
her active mind
release
the tsunami
release
her eyes
Restless Soul of Sea
somersaulting waves rupture
Tsunami drowns Love.

the sea rolled away
the little girl wonders if
it went down a drain
her mother screams "Run!"
as a tsunami erupts -
sand castle trampled
