A difficult day
She prepares food for tonight.
In total darkness
Amidst glittering sunbeams
Total darkness dissipates in
His shining light
To the sound of blaring trumpets

falling from the skies,
I have no answers,
no truths to live by.
I'm losing grip of my chance,
letting go of my stance,
Living with lies,
that ruin many lives.
People call me heartless,
but I live in total darkness,
People tell me I should die,
and its all a goodbye......
Doppelganger
Treason
Creeping in total darkness,
No wait for any sunshine,
Day he betrayed my true love,
passion bled to death.
All yearnings laid to rest,
bliss was only a deceit,
Wreathed my soul, whipped unsaid words
of treacherousness.

Zombie’s flesh crave
Human’s have no time left
Hungry in wanting
Appetite in needing
Thirst for blood
Head to toe serving
Eat day and night
Human’s get no sleep in plight
Total darkness with no light
Danger Danger Danger
Zombies enter
Eat in content
Flesh to bones
Never be alone
Zombie eat up
Standing at the pointed edge of this cliff,
Staring down at the jagged rocks below...
Still holding the fraying ropes of life,
Hanging from above...
Wondering... I Shrug,
Should I just let go?
Supposedly a light at the end of the tunnel,
Just how long is this winding road?
Total darkness along the way...
Just too tired of the never ending cold!
Blank images of times gone by
invisibly reflecting opaquely within.
Expecting a response, but none given.
Empty pages turned, why?
Nothing said. Nothing read.
Like an extinguished light
Or the flip of a switch

So damn tired of this never ending cold!
I thought I found love.
I thought happiness came true.
But now I’m confused
More than ever.
I thought the sun would shine,
I thought the rain had stopped.
But my dais remain to be grey.
I’m at lost for words,
I’m out of thoughts,
I’m covered in total darkness,
I’m freezing cold,
I’m blind in the dark
And all I do is pray
For light to bring day.
C-ome into reversal of fortunes,
H-igh time to turn your world around;
E-arly January thirty-first,
L-ove, faith, and hope are found.
A-fter years of total darkness,
L-ight has finally shown up;
Q-uitting was not in your mind,
U-nceasing search did not stop.
I-n spite of all setbacks,
Z-eal has done more actions;
A-rdent trust has let you
R-each the reversal of fortunes.
I woke up in total darkness
It was freezing
Colder than ice shivers run down my back
God is reaching his hand to me
But I reject and look away
I was alone
I always was and forever will be
I am blind and have no help
No guidance anywhere when will I see the light?
When will I have meaning?

My throat is closing

It hurts too much

In total darkness flesh rests
and at first light rises.
Sky blue eyes search
bibles and cookbooks for direction.
Bless cheeks with pink powder blush.
Punch dough down.
Dress fingers in white flour dust.
Invoke a flame.
She commands all the elements,
motions us to stand and watch
at her tall stove-pot.
We peer over the edge
into galaxies of hot oil.
Planets pop and bob into life.
Aroma undoes us and
time floats hellishly slow.
Fly in the sky, you, giant hornet,
towards the sun, against the wind.
Shine in the light, eccentric comet,
into the dark you`d better fling.
Arrange the show and die in harness,
let here star shower`s hour run.
You – surveyor`s stake in total darkness,
Cosmos is not for sign a bar.
Exhaust yourself in fleeting dancing,
let after all the summer fun,
and rush away, you, cosmic lancer,
to catch up with a falling sun.
A Revelation
Adrift alone in silence amidst total darkness
I sense the universe as a warm sparkling vessel
Not fragments of insignificant frigid orbs
A throbbing heart embedded with infinite dreams

living in a shadows blackness
in a room of total darkness
taking life a step at a time
trying to find this emotion of mine
stop and take a long deep breathe
never shall you stop to rest

dont let go without a fight
falling down a twisted protal
dont you wish you were immortal?

Form:
I startled awake, early Sunday morning,
fraught - my mind, darting like a panicked animal
because my assignment calendar
is wet, smeared and illegible!
Total darkness - I fish for my phone by it’s cord - it reads 3:08am.
I flop back onto a cloud of thick, memory foam.
Ahhh, jeeez, it was just a DREAM.
Of course, my assignment calendar
is safe, digital, redundant, cloud backed up.
“THAT was a little morbid.” I think,
as I drift back out of consciousness.
In total darkness
my head is pounding
pain lurking in the back of my eye lids
body's weak
Stomach is nauseous
shivering as goose bumps race up and down my body
I toss and turn in bed
unable to relax
Taken four to six pills
cold wash cloth over my head
pillow pulled tight over my eyes
but, nothing seems to work
Ways to cure my pounding head
control my breathing, calmly in and out
clear my mind, slowly falling asleep
and vision sweet ecstasy with you in my head
Where would we be today?
if Jesus had never come
and if we never had his word
we indeed would be spiritually dumb
If we had no spiritual laws
no laws to live by
spiritually blind in total darkness
our breath about to die
Living for this earth bound time
no future past our death
what a thought to contemplate
taking for granted our very breath
But praise be to God
we have Jesus the word incarnate
blessed of the blessed indeed
awaiting our eternal state
