What If Jesus Had Never Come
Where would we be today?
if Jesus had never come
and if we never had his word
we indeed would be spiritually dumb
If we had no spiritual laws
no laws to live by
spiritually blind in total darkness
our breath about to die
Living for this earth bound time
no future past our death
what a thought to contemplate
taking for granted our very breath
But praise be to God
we have Jesus the word incarnate
blessed of the blessed indeed
awaiting our eternal state
